Keystone’s Closing Day celebration also falls on Easter! Join in the fun with their annual Slush Cup. This event consists of fun for the entire family, including pond skimming competitions for both kids and adults. Participants are encouraged to dress up in creative costumes and compete for prizes. Returning again this season, the Kidtopia Slush Cup will offer a separate, smaller pond for younger contestants ages 6-12. The Slush Cup begins at noon at the Mountain House Base Area and features music from a special guest DJ. It is free for spectators to join the fun at this end-of-season tradition, or join the fun! Registration opens March 25th. The Kidtopia Slush Cup is for ages 6-12 and is $5 to register. If you are 13 or older, please register for the adult Slush Cup division for $35. Visit the Keystone Resort website for more information.

Arapahoe Basin

Just five miles away from Keystone, Arapahoe Basin will be hosting Easter activities! There will be 5,000 eggs on the mountain, and those on foot can start their egg hunt on Molly Hogan and those on skis will head to Wrangler (a beginner trail). Golden eggs with a special prize will be hiding at both locations! Click here for more information.

Frisco

Sunday, April 12th

Main Street in Frisco is a fan favorite year-round, but for Easter the Historic Park and Museum is hosting an egg hunt with 5,000 eggs! The hunt begins at noon and children 8 years old and younger are invited to hunt for candy-stuffed eggs throughout Frisco Historic Park and the Town Hall areas. The Easter Bunny will visit with children before and after the egg hunt on Main Street.

Breckenridge

Sunday, April 12th

Enjoy a variety of activities all around Breckenridge, including some of the best Easter brunches around. There will also be a pop-up children’s museum offering creation, fun and learning. (Breckenridge Ski Resort has not posted any celebrations specific for Easter as of the publish date of this post.)

Loveland

Sunday, April 12th

The Spring Skiing Giant Easter Egg Hunt begins at 8:30 a.m. Gather at the Basin area for the first chair and keep a lookout for giant Easter eggs as you ski down the slopes, browse the Sports Shop or wander the base area. Giant eggs mean giant prizes like skis, snowboards, and more! There is a limit of one giant egg per person, but each egg is filled with lots of goodies. For the kids, there will be plenty of small eggs around the base area and off Lift 2. Click here for more information.
