Easter In Summit County

Easter comes early this year, so join in the fun as you search for colorful eggs in the snow! Several areas in Summit County will be hosting various activities to celebrate Easter.

Keystone

Sunday, April 1st

Enjoy brunch at the Bighorn Bistro and Bar from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (reservations required). From 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m., hop over to the Kidtopia Headquarters! There will be Easter crafts, cookie decorating, and Easter movies.

Arapahoe Basin

Saturday, March 31st

Just five miles away from Keystone, Arapahoe Basin will be hosting activities on Saturday, March 31st. There will be 5,000 eggs on the mountain, and those on foot can start their egg hunt on Molly Hogan, while those on skis will head to Wrangler (a beginner trail). Frisco

Sunday, April 1st

Main Street in Frisco is a fan favorite year-round, but for Easter, the Historic Park and Museum is hosting an egg hunt with 5,000 eggs! The hunt begins at noon, and children 8 years old and younger are invited to hunt for candy-stuffed eggs throughout Frisco Historic Park and the Town Hall areas. The Easter Bunny will visit with children before and after the egg hunt on Main Street.

Breckenridge

Sunday, April 1st

Start with the 6 a.m. sunrise service at the Tenmile Station via the QuikSilver SuperChair at the base of Peak 9. Then, from 9:30-11 a.m., you can meet the Easter Bunny at the base of Peak 8. Children ages 10 and under are welcome. Finally, come and enjoy some skiing and an on-mountain Easter scavenger hunt. There will be 5 big eggs scattered across the mountain from Peak 6 to Peak 9. Take your picture with each egg and the beautiful view, then come down to the base of Peak 8, show your photos, and collect your prizes with the Easter Event Team. The first 10 participants to complete the challenge of finding all 5 eggs and showing their photos at the Breck tent will receive special grand prizes. Lifts for this event open at 8:30 a.m., and prize redemption is from 11-2 p.m. This event is for children ages 7-14. Click here for more information.

Copper Mountain

Sunday, April 1st

Boasting “The World’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt” with over 65,000 eggs spread across 2,500 acres. There’s an egg hunt for kids of all ages, including “kids at heart”. Click here for more details. Did you know: Copper buys their eggs from Phil and Ruth Ayers and family. The Ayers family hires veterans and people with disabilities to fill their eggs, which are made in the USA.

Loveland

Sunday, April 1st

The Spring Skiing Giant Easter Egg Hunt begins at 8:30 a.m. Gather at the Basin area for the first chair and keep a lookout for giant Easter eggs as you ski down the slopes, browse the Sports Shop, or wander the base area. Giant eggs mean giant prizes like skis, snowboards, and more! There is a limit of one giant egg per person, but each egg is filled with lots of goodies. For the kids, there will be plenty of small eggs around the base area and off Lift 2.
