There are lots of reasons to come to Keystone in the summer–whitewater rafting, biking, canoeing, fishing, the list goes on! But sometimes you just want to kick back in a great pool and enjoy the mountain views.
Once again, we’ve put in the hard work of figuring out what the best five pools are in Keystone. It was a tough job, but someone had to do it.

SCMR PRESENTS: THE TOP 5 POOLS IN KEYSTONE
Taking the top spot yet again is Dakota Lodge. It’s in the heart of River Run Village and features the largest, year-round heated pool in the entire resort. Not to mention, there are also two oversized hot tubs. The icing on the cake? The spectacular slope views featuring Keystone Mountain. If you stay at Dakota, you can snag one of our properties that overlook the pool so you can watch family and friends from the balcony.
Second on the list is The Springs. When it comes to being kid-friendly, this complex has truly outdone itself. Not only is there an outdoor pool with a waterfall and slide, there’s a media room, indoor play area, wading pool with sprayers, fire pit and shared grill area. On top of all that, there’s also a hot tub that is perfect for adults while the kids splash around in the pool. We have several properties in this building, but the star of summer of is Unit #8811 with its poolside patio.
No. 3 on the list is Settler’s Creek. Their clubhouse (aka Minnie’s Cabin) puts all their amenities in a centralized location. The beautiful pool features a spacious deck with lots of seating, and there are two hot tubs. Next to the pool is Minnie’s Cabin featuring a pool table, a wet bar for entertaining, a large flat screen TV and shower and restroom facilities. And the shared grill area is right outside with extra seating. With everything you need within a few feet of each other, it’s no wonder this one made the list.
Coming in at No. 4 is The Timbers. One of the more exclusive buildings in the resort, this complex offers great amenities with a touch of luxury. The pool is surrounded by tall pines lending to a secluded feel. The swim-in/swim-out feature is a nice touch if there’s a chill in the air. Additionally, there’s a shared hot tub with a waterfall, grill area with seating and an outdoor fire pit.
And coming in at the fifth spot is Tennis Townhomes. This complex is on the north side of Highway 6 just as you come into Keystone from the west. This location lends a quiet and secluded feel to the outdoor pool while also offering wide views of the surrounding mountains. There’s also an indoor hot tub with large windows and a sauna.
