People come to Summit County for the nation’s best skiing, but a good soak in a hot tub is not far behind on their list of reasons for choosing a mountain vacation. There’s really nothing better than soaking in a hot tub after a long day of winter adventures with snowflakes falling all around.
SCMR has put in the hard work of figuring out which complexes have the best hot tubs. It was a tough job, but someone had to do it.
The Summit County Top 5: Hot Tubs
No. 1 on the list is Dakota Lodge. This complex features two of the largest hot tubs in all of Keystone, not to mention the largest pool too. It’s in the heart of River Run Village so you’re steps from shopping, restaurants and local festivities, plus it’s next to Dercum Square that features an ice rink during the winter and a miniature golf course during the summer. Throw in an absolute stunning view of the slopes and you’ve got the number one hot tub in Keystone.
Second on the list is Water House. Located in Breckenridge just off Main Street, this complex makes the list because of the number of hot tubs offered! First, there are three hot tubs near the pool with a large seating area all around and beautiful views. Then there are three more just northeast of the pool with a bit more privacy provided by a wrought iron fence and trees. Then there is a single large hot tub centrally located within the complex with a wrought iron fence and greenery. Not only are there hot tubs, but the complex also offers a large pool, steam room, movie theater and more!
Coming in third we have The Springs. This hot tub made the list because of the entire set up with amenities at The Springs. Not only is there a hot tub, but there’s also a heated pool with a slide and waterfall, a splash area with water sprayers, a grill area and an outdoor fire pit for making s’mores. Sit back and soak those muscles while the rest of your party makes use of the other amenities.
Fourth on the list are the hot tubs at Slopeside. Take advantage of their rooftop hot tubs with incredible panoramic mountain views. Plus there’s a fire pit with a large seating area and an outdoor grill. Imagine yourself in the hot tub while steaks are on the grill… doesn’t get much better than that!
And coming in at the fifth spot are the hot tubs for Hidden River Lodge. Enjoy two hot tubs on a large south-facing deck offering beautiful slope views. And with nearby grills and seating, you may not need to be in your room for hours!
