Keystone

Starting in the town of Keystone, there are tons of mouthwatering options to choose from.

Kickapoo Tavern has been serving the area since 1995. It offers a welcoming bar and grill atmosphere, serving up all your favorite American classics like burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and more. If you’re in the mood for Mexican food, Dos Locos Restaurant & Cantina has you covered. This locally owned and operated establishment is just minutes away from the slopes. It offers everything from tacos and burritos to quesadillas, nachos, and more.

At Haywood Café, you’ll find mouthwatering, made-from-scratch dishes for breakfast and lunch. Get some bacon-wrapped elk sausage in the morning or try a burger or sandwich in the middle of the day. Another local favorite, New Moon Café offers a friendly atmosphere with a full menu featuring burritos, nachos, pretzels, and even the croissant French toast! Finally, Ski Tip Lodge presents an incredible fine dining experience with a four-course prix fixe menu that rotates every month.

Breckenridge

The former mining town of Breckenridge at the Tenmile Range base of the Rocky Mountains offers some go-to restaurants for breakfast and fine dining as well as traditional American fare. You can start your day at Semplice Café on Main Street, which serves locally roasted coffee to pair with vegan and vegetarian breakfast burritos and paninis, lunch paninis, toasts, smoothies, and salads.

If you’re seeking traditional fare, The Motherloaded Tavern is for you. Choose from burgers, chicken sandwiches, fish n’ chips, flank steak, meatloaf, and even homemade mac n’ cheese. The drink menu features regional canned beers, draft beers, wines, Bloody Marys, and margaritas. Happy Hour every day from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. has chicken fingers, spam fries, house chips, pulled pork, and more.

If fine dining is what you’re after, Hearthstone Restaurant on South Ridge Street fits the bill: situated in a Victorian-style home, this restaurant lists entrees such as bison short ribs, Colorado lamb, and prime culotte steak. An OpenTable Diners’ Choice winner in 2023, Hearthstone has a bar with cocktails, wines, and beers, a Happy Hour from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m., gluten-free choices, and an extensive dessert menu.

Dillon

Bring your appetite to the Arapahoe Café restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Located in the heart of Dillon, this local’s favorite offers happy hour from 4-6pm every and a daily pub special. Enjoy the upstairs dining room, or the Pub Down Under in this one-of-a-kind historic setting.

Another local favorite is Red Mountain Grill, known for having The Best Happy Hour in Dillon. Offering brunch on Saturday & Sunday, this family-friendly restaurant is a great spot for gathering with the whole crew. Enjoy casual dining with a Southwest flare at this delicious, rustic restaurant.

Silverthorne

Last but not least, we come to the town of Silverthorne. Here, there’s one restaurant that stands out above the rest: Sauce on the Blue. This restaurant has an “old world” influence. It features some of the best Italian cuisines you can hope to find among restaurants in Summit County. On top of the delicious food, you can also enjoy an incredible view of the area and a stunning atmosphere inside the dining room.

You might also check out Bluebird Market, a modern “chef-driven food hall” where local and regional chefs offer a wide variety of food choices ranging from burgers and pizza to tacos and salad bowls—a total of 12 culinary varieties under one roof. You’ll also find breakfast fare, coffee, and desserts. Fun events include trivia nights, open mic nights, live music, and adult crafts.

Grocery Stores

If you’d rather cook a meal right inside your Summit County Vacation Rental, you can do that, too! There are several grocery stores to choose from in this area.

City Market offers locations in both Dillon and Breckenridge and has a convenient pickup service if you want to order in advance to save time. You’ll find fresh produce as well as packaged products from the national brands you already know and love.

In Frisco, you’ll find Natural Grocers, which is an excellent option if you want the freshest ingredients and the most health-conscious options. You’ll not only find organic produce and plenty of meat and seafood selections, but you can also pick up household products, dietary supplements, body care items, and more.

Finally, Frisco is also home to an incredible Whole Foods location. This grocery store offers all kinds of specialty products for any meal, as well as pre-prepared foods that you can enjoy. The huge selection is constantly rotating and always offers something new for you to sample.
