Description

This position is a transitional position that is in between a full-time management position and a Vacation Planner position.

  • Manage office operations and solve customer service and internal issues as they arise.

Description

The Office Manager (OM) is the leader of the office staff. On a day-to-day basis, the OM performs all the duties of the Vacation Planners, and, in addition to these duties, the OM is the first person that is consulted when there is an issue in the office to be resolved. This includes customer service issues, reservation issues and addressing client needs. Additionally, the OM must be aware of the office environment and ensure that all tools needed for the office are in good working order and supplies are stocked.

  • Inspect properties prior to guest and client check-in.
  • Deliver items to properties that were requested by guests and clients.
  • Assist maintenance staff in performing minor maintenance tasks (e.g., light bulb changes).
  • Assist housekeeping staff in preparing properties for future guests.
  • Report to the AGM/GM regarding areas that need improvement.
  • Assist with laundry operations.

Description

The Marketing Manager (MM) works closely with the SCMR ownership to implement existing marketing strategies and experiment with new marketing strategies. The MM must be creative and able to focus on details to finish projects. A great deal of time is spent working with marketing partners to constantly improve existing marketing and keep it up to date.

  • Maintain Vacation Rental Website Content (e.g., photos and descriptions).
  • Maintain Facebook page and other social media outlets.
  • Create marketing content.
  • Explore new marketing techniques.
  • Collaborate with web developer to create, maintain and update SCMR website.
  • Coordinate with other SCMR staff members to onboard new SCMR clients.

Description

Many of the tedious bookkeeping processes are automated by the software that SCMR uses. However, it is always important that a professional review the books weekly for errors and inaccuracies. The preparation of owners statements and payments to vendors are time sensitive, which require focus and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

  • Maintain books including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Properly account for charges and expenses to clients and to vendors.
  • Input data into Quickbooks and property management software.
  • Complete payroll.
  • Pay taxes in a timely manner.
