Description

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 6 with king bed in master, one queen bed, and queen sleeper sofa. It features courtyard views from both bedrooms and the living area. Stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, you're a very short walk from the high-speed gondola. Buffalo Lodge offers shared amenities including 2 hot tubs. Guests of this vacation rental also get access to the amenities at the neighboring Dakota Lodge including 2 more hot tubs and an outdoor pool.

The entryway offers mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a flat screen, smart TV, a gas fireplace and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Additional sheets and blankets are in a closet. Just off the living area is the private balcony with courtyard views.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The dining area comfortably seats three, while there are three more seats at the breakfast bar. The first of two bathrooms is just down the hall and has a pedestal sink and a shower/tub combination. Both bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, a flat screen, smart TV, and beautiful views. The en suite bathroom has double sinks with granite countertops, and a shower/tub combination. The guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a smart TV.

Our ultra-premium linens rival those of The Four Seasons featuring extra soft, oversized towels and high quality bed linens that have a subtle satin stripe pattern for a look of elegance. Bluegrass Stay

We have stayed at Buffalo Lodge several times over the years. Most of the units are basically the same, however this one seemed small for 4 adults. Used to having a bit more space. Window in master bedroom was missing a screen so had to deal with flies. Other than that, all good.

Fairly Good Stay But Not Without Issues

The property was exceptionally clean, but the management seemed quite disorganized. We received numerous text messages before and during our stay about potential 'disruptions,' like closed amenities. However, these were often followed by messages saying the previous ones were sent in error. Unfortunately, the hot tubs were closed for part of our stay, and when they finally opened, we ended up with terrible rashes, indicating they were not well maintained.

Our check-in experience was also frustrating. After picking up our keys and packet from the main office as instructed, we discovered the parking garage door was malfunctioning. When I called for help, the staff member I spoke to struggled with English and couldn’t resolve the issue. This led to us having to carry all our belongings up a flight of stairs and through several doors to reach the elevator—a challenging task for an elderly person with severe back problems.

On the bright side, the staff was friendly and accommodating in other situations during our stay. I’d think twice before using this company again, but if the price were right, I might consider staying again, knowing what to expect.

Lovely Place to Relax during Conference

It had a calm, clean mountain-themed decor that we found very relaxing after a long, busy day learning at the Conference Center. Really liked it’s layout. Comfortable furnishings. Conveniently located to lots of dining options, so no need to drive anywhere for dinner. Shuttle stop just outside the building if you do want to go elsewhere but don’t feel like driving/finding parking. Fun view of the Buffalo sculpture and surrounding courtyard with the mountains beyond. Property management company very communicative; they answer questions quickly and are generally very helpful. Would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Great Location

The condominium was impressive, equipped with all the necessary amenities, and its location was ideal. However, the building itself showed signs of wear and tear, necessitating some repairs. Upon our arrival, we discovered the elevator connecting to the parking garage was out of order, an issue which persisted throughout our stay. The lobby was consistently crowded every evening with individuals who didn't appear to be residents, which was peculiar. Moreover, there was an incident involving a ruptured pipe in one of the units, leading to a flooded corridor and excessive noise in the hallway and stairs.
I would stay here again with slightly different expectations.

Family enjoyed!

Great condo in the heart of Keystone Riverrun. My family enjoyed 3 nights here over NYE. Great management, clean and stocked with everything we needed. Location was awesome for my kids first time skiing in the mountains. Enjoy shopping, grabbing snacks, ice skating rink and dining just steps outside the door. I would stay here again.

December '23 Ski Trip for Family of Four

My family of 4 stayed here for a pre-Christmas ski trip in December 2023. The condo was roomy enough for all of us without even using the sleeper sofa. Being located in the River Run village was great for skiing, shopping, and dining. The condo was very clean, the wi-fi was excellent and quiet in the evenings. The only minor complaint we had was one of two elevators was not working during our stay, and it happened to be the one that goes to and from the parking garage.

Great

Great location. It was very comfortable and quiet. Clean. Beds and bedrooms were amazing. our only problem was that one of the bathrooms was basically not functional, ie, the handle for the shower was detached and the parts were just there on the bath tub. We didn't use that bathroom. Other than that we enjoyed our stay

Fun family ski trip

Cute condo right at the River Run base area. We loved that you could walk straight to the gondola. Great location with shopping and dining literally steps away. Even with everything so close, the condo was quiet and relaxing. Kids enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Would stay here again!

Great Condo!

This condo was in a great location. Super clean and very well stocked with essentials. Walking distance to river run gondola, ski rentals, ice skating rink, shops, and restaurants. Super convenient when traveling with kids. The amenities were great too. Also, Summit County Mountain Rentals team were great. I will definitely be renting one of their units again.

Cozy condo with courtyard and moutain view

This is a cute cozy updated condo is nicely decorated and suited us and our two kids well. There's a great view of the mountain and courtyard from the master bedroom window! Patio overlooks Lime restaurant's outdoor tables. Can hear live music during events when windows are open. Elevator from garage to first floor was out of order but once on first floor lobby, you could take elevator to 3rd floor. Preliminary starter supplies were missing a starter sponge for dishes. Kitchen is well-stocked with everything needed - even a pizza pan & cutter. Master bed was very comfy however guest bed had a big sunken dip in the mattress. Saunas were out of order in Dakota Lodge and Silver Mill. Buffalo Lodge jacuzzis were awesome! Convenient location to walk to many eateries throughout River Run. Grocery store next to Zuma had a good selection of essential foods and a nicely stocked ice cream cooler which kids loved. Nice to have cable and Netflix for rainy evenings. Towels provided were thick and plush, even had 2 bathrobes. Shampoo/cond/lotions had a nice botanical scent. Easy to find garage parking right by elevator since it's the off season. We walked to the gondola ride and found souvenir t-shirts in the adjacent gift shops. Starbucks was closed but there's a quaint coffee shop (Inxpot) only steps away. Kids loved the Creperie and full-sized chess, checkers, and connect 4 games. We enjoyed our stay here and have fond memories!

River Run Condo

The rental location was perfect as you are within 200 yards of the River Run gondola each morning. The amentities are what you would expect for accomodation in this price range, TV with local cable access, microwave, stove and dish washer. The master bed is large with en suite bath that is quite spacious (his and her sinks). The guest bath has plenty of room for vacationers in the guest suite or on the fold out sofa. Large balcony is also quite nice for enjoying coffee before heading out on the slopes. The hot tub for this properly is not that large but the heated pool and hot tubs associated with the sister property are quite big and each offers plenty of relaxation after a day on the slopes. Both elevators were broken upon our arrival into the condo which was extremely challenging given we had all our ski gear and had gone grocery shopping prior to arriving in the village. Updates from the property management company were delayed by about a day so we didn't find out the elevators were out until the day following our check in. Other than that the experience was a positive one that i would recommend to friends / family. Food choices are okay in the village however we found the food options better a short drive to Frisco.

Unfortunately this is outside of our direct control and we are both at the mercy of the HOA. However, there were staff members available to help with any luggage and the ski lockers are located on the first floor for all gear to be placed in.

Wonderful Keystone Condo

This condo is fantastic. This is probably one of the best ski condos we have ever stayed in. It was well appointed. The furniture was comfortable and the mattresses were BY FAR the best I've had in a ski condo. Everything that was needed was provided. Really nice stay overall. Would be nice if they had some robes for the hot tubs like some of the other rooms had but other than that, no constructive feedback to even offer. Would definitely stay again!

Great location

This condo was nicely decorated and well furnished. The location is very central to keystone and steps from ski lifts. The rental team at the office was not particularly friendly when I picked up my keys but the property was nice enough to overlook that.

Great Mountain Retreat
