Elevator to garage did not work. Other elevator hung once and we had to climb stairs in ski boots. Tub in master bath did not drain well. Upper drawer in dishwasher was broken. Couldn't find a stopper for the sink.

Loved the unit! Spacious and slept 7 people in our party comfortably. The unit was clean and maintained. The property management team was helpful and responsive. The pool room and common area below was big plus! The only major drawback was one of the elevators was out of service the entire stay (hence, the less than 5 rating) which made for long elevator waits at the beginning and end of ski days. Also, we had a minor issue with the dishwasher, which the property management team was willing to respond to and provided good customer service. All-in-all, spacious unit in a great location with a great property management team!

This was a great condo with plenty of space. It’s bigger than most 2 bedrooms available to rent. Nice spacious dinning and living area. The location was perfect with a short walk to the slopes. We had a fantastic vacation!!

This was one of the nicest units in which I have stayed. The furniture is clean and comfortable and the space is large. There is two bathrooms, one in the master. Speaking of the master, I loved the layout of it. The bathroom was inside the room, but separated from the bed area by a closet. This provides privacy from the person sleeping in the room with you. The hot tubs and the building were clean and nicely located in the village.

Needs AC. Very warm in the afternoons. Getting fans out while on vacation is not my idea of a good time. You would think a condo worth over a million bucks could afford ac. No other complaints

We do not advertise for A/C and we have this information also located in our rental agreement, sorry you missed both of those. We do have information in our digital guidebook as well that provides tips on keeping the unit cool, since they do not have A/C.

The location by the ski slope is great. The ski rental place is 50 steps out the door of the Condo. The rooms were quite comfortable.
The bedroom closets (both) were unusable because both had rolled up mattresses in them, which took up the entire closet(s). You couldn't even hang up a coat in the closets.
The living room, dining room and kitchen were very comfortable, and plenty big enough for the 4 of us. Loved the gas fireplace with flip the switch heat.
The bedroom carpets were filthy -- needed vacuuming, and needing to be shampooed. The rest of the condo seemed to have been swept or vacuumed, but the bedroom carpets definitely were not vacuumed prior to our arrival.
There were plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. The small grocery store was about 200 steps away, and they had Tylenol and a thermometer when my daughter got sick. These were reasonably priced, too.
Ski lockers on the ground floor were smallish, but very helpful. Also on the ground floor were washers ($2/load) and dryers ($1.75/load), which took credit cards. For $7.50 (2 loads), it was great to take clean clothes to our next vacation site.
I'd stay there again, hoping the bedroom carpeting was cleaner.

We notified Maint upon arrival, and 3 more times. Apparently someone did come, but we never knew. That would be nice to know, so that we do not keep complaining!!

Overall; Excellent communication leading up to our stay, and during, with quick responses to some general questions about the parking garage. Upon arrival we found a clean, beautiful condo in a great location. Our group was in town for a training seminar, so the fact it was near the convention center was ideal. It is within walking distance of a few restaurants, and using the convenient shuttle service for further restaurant destinations was also painless and easy. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone staying in the Keystone area. Great price, easy booking, and excellent communication.

Our stay at this unit worked out great overall for two couples, our party of four. There was a bit of a rocky start as there was no mention in our welcome packet from the management company that the single elevator from the garage level has been out for more than 7 months which we learned from an owner in Buffalo Lodge after we had unloaded everything for our extended weekend. This particular cart, the only in the area, had a bad wheel so walked up levels to find another, reload and shuttle a significant distance from one end of the parking lot to the other, out the garage door to the street, around to the far end front of Buffalo Lodge, up the ramp to the lobby elevator. It seemed that it would have been a small but important detail for the management company to let us know.
The unit was very clean which was noticed by our party and appreciated spacious living and bedrooms.
The kitchen was well stocked with items needed to prepare meals including a crock pot. The only thing missing was salt and pepper supposed to be provided. As another reviewer mentioned all the cabinets and drawers are full of kitchen items so there is no pantry for dry goods. Both bedrooms had comfortable bedding with softish mattresses that were somehow strangely squeaky with movement.
Liked the wood floors in the kitchen and living space while the bedrooms and hallway had old, likely original carpet with stains like many of the units.
Chairs and especially couches were worn but comfortable enough. The chandelier over the dining table was purely ornamental and inadequate for lighting for our game night but there was an inexpensive floor lamp provided for supplemental light.
Overall, the unit was fine for our weekend but if you party is looking for a fresh, upscale unit, this may not be for you.

This is a large unit with a great view. Everything you need is there. Picking up the welcome package with the keys was easy. No A.C. was no problem, even in July. We used the provided fans. One did not work, but we used one of the others they had and moved it around. I'm sure they will replace it. The kitchen is modern and stocked with everything you need to cook up a meal. I do wish there was an empty pantry for dry and canned goods. We just used the counter top. The living area furniture was a little worn. The table top is painted and a little tacky to the touch. The chairs are a bit wobbly. The leather couch was comfortable, it is wearing on top, but I did not mind, some people pay extra for that look. The bedrooms have king beds in them, these were very comfortable. The master bedroom is large, a long walk at night from bed to bathroom in this room. This lodge has a great Keystone location. Downstairs outside area behind the building is full of shops and food places. There is a mini golf in front. Bus service to Silverthorne out front as well. Winter skiing areas at your doorstep, of course it was summer when we were there. Some inconvenience during our stay, these hopfully will not be an issue for future guest. They were fixing something in the hall ceiling directly outside our door in the hall. There was debris on the floor on arrival under that. Workers started the work early making our guest sleeping in the living room not able to sleep late. A plug next to the sink did not work, we plugged in the provided crock pot with our meal for the night and went on a day trip. When we got back it had not cooked. We had to throw the food out as it sat all day not cooking and was raw. We should have checked to make sure it was heating before we left. Some of the plugs in the master bedroom were also not working. Yes, I reported the issue. The most inconvenient issue for us was the broken elevator to the parking garage. It was broken the entire 6 days

The location is excellent and an easy walk through the village to the gondola. Great western exposure that fills the condo with wonderful sunshine. Clean and comfortable furnishings and very spacious. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend others to do the same. Property management was quick to respond to any question and checking in and out was a breeze. I was very happy and satisfied with my stay.

The staff at Summit County Mountain Retreats were great and I will book with them again. However, I will choose a different unit. Overall it was fine (and I'm sure the description of the larger than usual size is accurate), but furnishings seemed old and dirty. In the master bedroom there is an old, filthy upholstered chair that is right in the entrance way- get rid of that and add a small shelf to drop your ski accessories on instead! The "leather" couches are cracked, the pull out mattresses are not level. The blankets for use on the pull out couches seem to have not been washed in a year. All of the mattresses are very creaky. The carpet in the bedrooms needs to be deep cleaned or ripped up. Even the toilet seat had chips- replace it! Aside from the furnishings the condo was fine. The kitchen was stocked well enough to eat in often. The location was great for walking to the gondola. We loved the hot tub apres skiing. We had 6 people in the condo comfortably (2 of them are children), I think 8 would be too many.

I'll start by saying the location of the condo is excellent. Beyond that, there isn't much special about the unit. The furniture is spartan. The heat didn't work in the Master Bedroom. The kitchen lacked several items for cooking and had a leaky sink.

The most disappointing part of our stay was that the hot tubs were closed under supposed restrictions from Summit County. However, we checked with the County and no such restrictions are currently in place. Likely that the condo association doesn't want to deal with the logistics and simply closed hot tub access.

We rented other units through Summit last year and likely will not return to this unit.

The was a good unit with a great location and price, but their was no toilet paper in the unit, all of the remote batteries were dead, so our first impression was a little disappointing. This was not the owners fault though, I’d say the cleaning or management company was off their game.

My group was visiting Keystone for pre-season skiing and boarding and when I was the Buffalo Lodge 8392 listing I was surprised at how reasonably priced it was for all the amenities they offered. After getting there I was even more surprised at how close to the lifts the lodge was. I would definitely recommend this place for future travelers and will visit again myself in the near future. Things I liked: a lot of information was shared with me even before I got to the lodge so I knew what to expect. The lodge was stocked with appliances that we wouldn’t even think we needed. The ski lifts are a very short walk away. The hot tub is great. Summit County was also very responsive and available to help me extend my stay smoothly. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay at this location! The pictures and description were accurate. There was enough space to easily move around the unit with 6-8 people. There were plenty of dishes to use, so we could fill the dishwasher without having to run it or hand wash constantly. The only things we were not prepared for was there is only one elevator that goes directly from the unit to the parking garage, and the ski locker can only hold 4-5 pairs of skis.

We had a great experience at this condo! It was very clean, very accomodating, love the lobby had some pool tables, TV and just outside a covered and uncovered hottubs!! Believe them when they say it may be warm in your unit! We had windows open the entire time we were there, but it was also warmer outside than normal. Had a great experience, great location, would definitely return here!

It was a nice condo. The beds were comfortable, the carpets and duvet covers were a little dirty. The leather on the couch was worn in a couple places. There were enough dishes, but a little sparse on silverware. We spent 4 days there hiking and biking with another couple, there was plenty of seating to relax and watch TV or talk. The hot tubs and amenities were fantastic. I would stay there again!

A few friends and I decided to head up to Keystone for the Bacon & Bourbon Festival. We were excited to see this place was available because it was so close to the festival. We LOVED it! It is large, clean, and steps away from the village. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub next door too! Overall a great place that I will definitely try to book again in the future!

Everything went smoothly. There was more then enough room for our group of 5. Up to 8 people could sleep here , we liked the fact there were 2 pull outs in the large living room. It was in the Keystone Village so it was an easy 5 minute walk to the slopes! Would def recommend!

The condo was as good as advertised. Big enough for the 5 of us and very clean and updated. The sofa beds lacked a little support on one end, but nothing we couldn't work around. The location in the village was great and we walked to the lifts each day (3 in our party were kids age 8-11 so it's doable for kids too).
I'd like to give special thanks to the after hours worker Thursday Feb 14th 2019. After a long travel day we wanted to relax with some cocktails. Unfortunately the ice maker was pretty slow to get going. The after hours worker offered to bring us ice so we didn't have to go out again. He showed up in about 15 minutes with a bag of ice and ice trays. He went above and beyond and that was very impressive.

For the past 5 years we have been renting from SCMR we were the happiest with apartment Buffalo Lodge #8392. The lay out of the apartment, beds, large living room, view and location was the best we have rented so far. There were only minor issues that needed attention and your service people were very helpful in solving these issues. We would rent this apt. again.

The condo itself was beautiful, clean, and located nicely. The off-site check in was relatively easy, though checking in at a front desk would have been significantly easier. We received three keys: all three worked on the room door itself, but one did not work on any of the outside doors. When we asked an employee for help, he shrugged, pointed us to a phone, and gave us a local number to call - no one answered. Luckily, we had other groups staying in the same building, so every time the person with the bum-key needed to get into the building, we needed to call up to a friend let us in.

Thank you for the feedback. Vacation rentals across Keystone Resort are individually owned and each homeowner has several choices when choosing a company to manage their property in their absence. Since management companies can't all set up front desks at each complex, nor would that be cost effective, most offer centralized locations in Keystone. Our office is on the way to this complex. If you spoke with a person on-site it is highly unlikely that it was someone on our staff. If you called our number (which is printed on every keycard) you would have heard a selection of options, and then either spoke to someone or had the opportunity to leave a message with us. We're sorry that the person you spoke to did not explain who they worked for and gave you an incorrect number to call. We're glad you enjoyed your stay otherwise.

The unit is excellent: spacious, comfortable furnishings, well-stocked kitchen, and overall very clean. There was plenty of room for 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 3 teen-aged boys. The location is amazingly convenient, and the access to everything can't be beat.

The only complaint was the lack of washcloths. We called twice asking for more, but they never arrived. We had plenty of towels, and handtowels. However, 2 washcloths for 7 people was not very reasonable. We ended up going to the store to buy our own.

Overall, I would recommend this unit, and hope to stay there again.

My experience was great. I really enjoyed your property and all of the local shops within walking distance. As far as the cleanliness of the unit it was in need of a little deep cleaning like with the dishes and cupboards and things. I did a few loads of dishes and scrubbed a few pots and pans, as they looked like they were just put back after use. We didn't even use the microwave and it had food in it upon arrival, which I didn't get around to cleaning. Overall it was an amazing experience and I already started planning another vacation there next year!!!

We were very satisfied with this property during my first stay two years ago, so decided to stay at this condo again. It had a much nicer look before, but even this time it served our needs well. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils and anything you need to prepare full meal which helped us to save some money and eat healthy as well. The location is excellent, it is close to several ski resorts as well as shopping center and restaurants in Silverthorne. The property was clean and cozy. The property management was professional and attended to minor problems immediately. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend this property.

There's everything you will need for your stay away from home. There was plenty of linens and blankets for the extra beds. The pullout sofas were extremely comfortable with the foam mattresses. Not the typical thin ones where you could feel the bar. Excessive amount of comfortable pillows on every bed. Everything was great in the condo itself. One little drawback was that its location is right by the lobby and you could hear people outside. Other than that, fantastic. Condo was very spacious and comfortable for my group of seven (5 college kids). Would DEFINTELY stay again!

Plenty of space in living areas, kitchen well stocked, tissue in every room, plenty of extra sheets, towels, TP, etc. Impressed with all of that and with storage in closets, dressers, etc.

Our ONLY complaint is that it is VERY VERY loud. Noise from outside (not even noise, just people talking at the skating rink) sounds like they are in the condo with you. Keystone got a LOT of snow when we were there and we could hear the snowplows plowing the free lot and the circle around the rink literally ALL night long. Pushing snow, beeping in reverse, REPEAT, REPEAT, REPEAT. I think all the seals on the windows are broken! If this were fixed we would offer a premium price to buy this condo from the owner! Location is awesome!

The windows are double hung, which means they open from the top and the bottom. The top window was open, which allowed a great deal of noise in.

This was a very nice place to stay. We would highly recommend it again. The only problem is if you stay before June 10 in the summer many of the restaurants and shops are not open for the summer season yet. It would be helpful if the representative that takes the reservation would tell people that information so you would know that you will not have access to a lot of the shops and restaurants that time of year. Other than that we highly enjoyed our stay.

The slopes/shops are so close and accessible to the room. This added to the value with convenience, making it that much easier to relax after all day on the slopes. All of the furnishings were comfortable with spacious rooms. The Parking garage is a plus as well.

Location was great, condo was clean, stocked with supplies, the view of the skating rink was great for the kids and adults. The one problem we did have was with the keys not working. When we needed anything the response was quick.We would love to come back and rent this condo again. The ski school and daycare was great for the kids. Very family friendly location.

This is our fourth stay in Keystone, and this room is our favorite! The master bedroom is large and comfortable, the living room is huge, and the kitchen was perfect for the five of us. We hope to be able to stay here again.

Excellent location in the heart of River Run, this place was a gem. Spacious, clean, and felt like home right away. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook in the room and the beds were more comfortable than some of ours at home! Games, Internet, fireplace! What else could we ask for?

We stayed in the Buffalo Lodge 2 years ago and loved it. This time we went with friends from Dubai and loved it again!! We plan to go back too! Rooms are great with a beautiful view!
