Great last stop on our little Colorado trip
We've stayed at Decatur for the last two days of our US trip. The apartment is perfectly located for hiking (we've been here during the summer) and to relax and hang out afterwards. We enjoyed pool and hot tub and also used the beautiful bbq location just outside the pool in front of the lake.

A perfect stay!

Cozy condo, but poor security and customer service
The property was very cozy, had a nice kitchen and a lovely view, unfortunately the property management company did not address an issue during our stay. When we came back to the unit after a day out we discovered our door was open, not just slightly cracked but clearly open. We immediately called the company after we verified nothing was stolen to ask what had happened. The person on the phone said they would check with housekeeping and maintenance to see if anyone stopped by and give us a call back, but they never did. The next day I called the company again and spoke to another person who said they would talk with their manager about the issue and give me a call back, but they never did. On the final day I called the company and spoke to a different person who doubted my claim about the door being closed when we left (my wife and I checked and ensured the door was closed and we always do this whenever we lock a door). They said no one from the company visited the unit. This was more concerning as it either meant the lock was not working or could be broken into easily, or the company keeps a poor record of who goes into a unit. They said they could check the lock access records to see if someone from their company did enter the unit and give me a call back, but they never did. While this was a very nice property, the poor security and customer service by Summit County Mountain Retreats means I would not recommend staying at their managed properties.

We have gone in and responded to this claim by the guest by doing a lock audit and noted an accidental entry by a member of our team which is being dealt with internally at this time, this is something super rare for us and a complete accident and we do apologize to this guest for this incident.

Great views and space!
This rental was clean, cute and has all the little things you needed while away from home. Check in process was easy. Customer service was always available and responsive and the app made it easy to navigate our stay.

Nice location, good service, could be cleaner
The studio was adequate. Plenty of space, and nice furnishings. The ski locker was a nice feature for a longer stay though we didn’t need it. The bed was far too soft for us but some may like it. Only real negative was the bathroom was not clean; lots of hair on the floor, some in tub, and on counter. Some on floor kind of looked like dog hair though pets aren’t allowed so not sure. The rest of the place was clean and well kept. There is a bus stop right outside which makes accessing lifts easy.

Older, well-used property with a good location and fair price. Nicely appointed kitchen; bathroom was a little 'tired'; mattress was very soft and uncomfortable for our tastes.
