Nice place for price point. Had everything we needed!Anonymous from Highlands Ranch - Posted: 8/12/2024
Thank you for your review!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
The size of the condo was great for two people, or maybe a couple with 2 smaller kids. The condo was clean and pretty well stocked. I read several reviews and one read the bed was terrible and I agree. Easy fix would be a mattress topper. Good location.Anonymous from Nixa - Posted: 4/12/2024
Thank you for your review, finding a bed that fits everyone's needs can be hard but we value your feedback as we are always on the search for the perfect mattress for everyone!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff

The location was great and has easy accessibility to the River Run gondola. The condo was very nice, other than one of the patio door blinds being broken and unable to raise. The bed is stiff as a board too so be prepared. Also highly recommend Norski Sport Rentals situated just across the street at the end of the building - They were the closest, cheapest, and most accommodating with my recent rental.Anonymous from Sappington - Posted: 2/17/2024
Thank you for your review and feedback! Our team is diligently working on getting these blinds fixed so all guests can enjoy the beautiful views from this condo!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
If you literally plan to sleep here and do nothing else inside the unit it's fine, otherwise maybe consider looking elsewhere.
The unit was clean but the small size + odd layout + way too much furniture that was way too big meant there was almost no usable space. The mattress in the bedroom was seemed like the cheapest mattress money could buy.
The building it's in is large, and older. This shows, but the bigger issue is when it's crowded the pool/hot tub facilities are simply inadequate.
The major redeeming quality to this place is the value. At just over $200/night (including taxes and fees) for a two night mid-week stay in ski season with an indoor parking spot on the outskirts of the keystone village. The value is there. I'd consider staying here again in the future at that price, but only if the primary thing I'm looking for is a parking spot and a bed in the keystone village, and in that case, I would only consider this place for 1 or 2 nights maxAnonymous from Colorado Springs - Posted: 2/2/2024
Thank you for your review and feedback!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
The price of rental was excessive, we assumed that was because of location, but also expect comfortable accommodations. Ive slept in some rough places, but that bed was by far one of the worst. Not only was it about as soft as plywood, if anyone in the bed so much as coughed the whole bed bounced. I moved to the couch to try there but its hard and worn out to the point you roll off of it. The balcony had 3'of snow on it so was completely unusable. There was no air circulation other than a monstrosity of a humidifier, that on its lowest setting felt like a tornado. However I did find 3 box fans in the closet, all 3 of which are broken. I would never recommend anyone stay or stay here myself again.Anonymous from Stuart - Posted: 1/24/2024
Thank you for your review. We do love feedback like this about beds as it can be hard to find one that fits everyone needs, but we can always pass this along to our teams here to assess it! We do also apologize about the snow on your patio, this is managed by the HOA and they were running a bit behind with the multiple storms we got in a row!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
Very easy access to River Run. Covered parking was a blessing as we were there during some very cold days. Unit was clean and comfortable. Property Managers were awesome. Always responded quickly with any questions we had. We only had two of us. Living area would be a little tight for 4. Great place for a couples retreat.Anonymous from Durango - Posted: 12/20/2023

Great location and weather for our college Spring Break ski week. The unit is right in the heart of the village, nice kitchen. The beds could use updating. Not a luxury rental by any means but location location if you are looking for a reasonable stay! Very convenient if you take a shuttle to the mountain and do no rent a car.Anonymous from Estero - Posted: 3/19/2023

Really love the location and condo in Expedition Station. Very convenient for so many things, activities, restaurants, and places to ski. You are on the heart of Keystone or only 9 miles from Loveland Ski Area and close to several others. The condo is nice but needs some furniture upgraded like the couch and the bed, but overall a great place to enjoy Colorado!Anonymous from Plano - Posted: 3/4/2023
Thank you for your honest review! We are happy you enjoyed your stay!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
The property is in a pretty awesome location, but the unit itself was horrifically dirty. There was a brown stain on the comforter, hair in the shower, hair in the towels, old trash in the cans and on the floor, some kind of stain running down the wall in the bathroom, one of the remote controls is completely broken with rattling pieces inside, and another controller had to be programmed to the television just to get it to work. That's a lot of money to be spending for a unit in that condition.Anonymous from Woodland Park - Posted: 1/3/2023
Thank you for sharing your much-valued feedback with us. We’re extremely gutted to learn that you did not have a positive experience! This is an uncommon instance as the vast majority of our guests trust us with their stay and enjoy their experience with us to the fullest. We’re extremely alarmed to hear that you felt cleanliness wasn’t up to par. Our attention to detail is usually exceptional but we apologize profusely for missing the mark this time! We treat cleanliness as one of our highest priorities. Had we known of any housekeeping issues, we would have happily taken care of them right away. We checked all communications platforms and were not aware of this or the issues with the remotes. We have sent the comments over to our housekeeping team for further investigation and will have our maintenance staff take a look at the remotes.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff

We like the location and the property. Overall we had a good experience, we like that there is a parking garage and the ski lockers, there were enough dishes and cooking ware.
There were just minor issues, some dishes were dirty, the bathroom had a bad smell, and the kitchen faucet leaks. We open the sliding door and let the place vent for a bit and the odor went away.Anonymous from Fremont - Posted: 2/6/2022

The condo location was great, the kitchen was well-equipped and had nice appliances. The underground heated parking and ski lockers are nice. This unit is run-down and needs a refresh. It smells like a campfire, the walls look dirty and the furniture is old and uncomfortable. The shower had low water pressure and the bathtub drain was extremely slow. The management company responded promptly to my request for a working humidifier for the unit and to fix the bathtub drain. Also, there are no pool towels provided so you are supposed to use the towels from your unit for the pool and then extra towels cost more - not very hospitable or convenient. Definitely not worth the price charged.Anonymous from Aptos - Posted: 1/4/2022
Thank you for providing your feedback. However, this unit has been updated just right before the upcoming ski season. The owner of the property has replaced the carpets and they have been professionally cleaned. The kitchen was recently remodeled with stainless steel appliances, high end granite tops, high end sinks and faucets, brand new flat screen TVs, dual shower heads and top of the line humidifiers. However, we will investigate the claims of the furniture and reach out to the owner of the property, if we deem a replacement is needed. Extra towels do not cost more and that is simply inaccurate. All the guest had to do was reach out within 24 hours and we would have provided them with more towels.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
Everything was nice.
Simple check in and out process.
Fully stocked kitchen appliances.

We love staying at Expedition Station in the River Run resort. Your close to everything and it has great amenities.
This was our first time at this condo. It’s pretty tight for 3 people.
Unfortunately they we’re working on the deck as well so we were unable to use that space. This also caused some debris on the carpet/furniture.
Overall if worked though-had a full kitchen. We will return to Expedition Station. But will select a larger condo.Anonymous from Johnstown - Posted: 8/6/2021
We are glad to hear this guest was able to enjoy their stay in this expedition station unit. Unfortunately, the HOA has ongoing balcony projects that are out of our control, but we try to notify our guests and we do have this information on the listing. We hope this project will be completed in the near future. We hope to host them again in the future.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff

Enjoyed the location very much. Nice and convenient access to keystone. Pool and hot tub open and warm. Check in was easy and room was clean. King mattress was not comfortable. This could use some updating. Very stiff (the pull out sofa was more comfortable). Also 10:00 AM checkout is a little ridiculous. I tried to get late checkout, but they said that couldn’t happen because someone was staying in room. We were out at 10:00 AM and went snowboarding. We left keystone at about 2:00 PM and I went to return the room key. Room still hadn’t been cleaned by 2:00 PM (Not sure why I needed to be out by 10:00 AM)Anonymous from Arvada - Posted: 2/3/2021
We appreciate this guests feedback and recommendations on the bed. However, mattress comfortability is very subjective since everyone has different preferences. We would have been more than happy to bring a mattress topper over to the unit, had the guest reach out. 10 am check out time is very standard in all mountain resort towns and it is very hard to accommodate late check outs during our peak season when we have another guest checking in on the same day. We could have provided the guest with a key to the garage as their parking pass is still valid on the day of check out, so they could get so last minute skiing in.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff

Clean, well equipped condo... we were close to lifts, had first floor storage for ski equipment, worked out great. We didn’t have a car, so we used public transportation to grocery shop...the bus stop was right outside our door. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Jacuzzi broke down our last day but was great the first couple days.Anonymous from Streamwood - Posted: 3/20/2020

Overall everything was great. Location was convenient to many things and the condo was very clean. My only suggestion would be to put some guides for the area and a map for the area in the condo to look at. This would be very helpful for people who have never been to the area. Communication with the owner was fabulous.Anonymous from Oregon - Posted: 7/8/2019
We needed a place for two for a long weekend of spring skiing over the Memorial Day holiday. The unit was well appointed and fit our needs perfectly.Anonymous from Eastpointe - Posted: 5/29/2019
Everything about our rental experience and property was exceptional. Super smooth process for check in and check out. Great value property but did not feel like anything less than some of the surrounding places. Great for a small family.Anonymous from Grand Haven - Posted: 4/11/2019
My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights the first week of March, and we loved it. The space was the perfect size for two people, and the bed was comfortable and firm (good for a sore back like mine). The unit was right on the edge of River Run, next to the ice rink, and was easily walkable to the town and restaurants/bars/shops while still being tucked away and quiet. The underground parking was great and we always easily found a spot close by the elevators. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.Anonymous from Broussard - Posted: 3/21/2019
In general, the place is great! Has most of what you need, plenty of blankets, towels, tv's, fast internet, and cooking supplies, and kidtopia in the same building. The heated parking garage is perfect and I am reminded how much value it adds. But there were a few minor improvements that could be made for the guests.
We cooked everyday and stayed for a week with two young kids. As such, crumbs and other dirt/dusts make it to the floor. This is normal. Unfortunately, no cleaning supplies were provided such as a broom/vacuum, windex, etc... To be fair, we didnt call and ask for it either which i'm sure they would have been accommodating.
The location within the complex was GREAT! Immediately across the hall is the laundry room which we used often. Unfortunately, the detergent dispenser requires 75c each. Not really a big deal but it was empty and ate my money. Right around the corner is the elevators. So we could not have asked for more convenience location in this regard.
Kidtopia, the ice rink, and playground are right outside the complex. As a bonus, several sleds are provided which also made is fun for the kids on some hill.
One final issue is with *some* system, don't know what it was, was making noise all night during our first night's stay. It was a pretty loud noise and was very consistent. It sounded like a water filtering system that was timed very poorly.
Would I stay here again? Sure! I would just be more prepared. Most of what we needed could be found at the local market within keystone. And the condo instructions DO clearly state this so most of the issues are our own faults.Anonymous from Dickinson - Posted: 2/28/2019
Cozy condo. Excellent value. There was an issue with the hot water. I had to call a couple of times, but they got it fixed.Anonymous from Tampa - Posted: 2/12/2019
My wife, adult son and I spent 3 nights while skiing at Keystone. Accommodations were perfect for us. We are not big nightlife folks so amenities like games, crockpot and full kitchen were appreciated.Anonymous from Vadnais Heights - Posted: 2/10/2019
The place was as advertised. It had everything I needed and was conveniently close to the mountain.Anonymous from DENVER - Posted: 1/16/2019
A day before my trip, i get a message saying the condo i rented wasn't available. No attempt was made to fix this until i called in complete panic; they i was offered another condo at a similar price. But it took 3 call backs and about every staff member to fix a mess they made, not me. Arriving, I went to the offices to pick up keys. there were a number of confused people milling about the lobby. I went to the office and was sent back down to the open lockbox to get the keys. I don't know why you can't use a lockbox when it's after office hours, and use humans during so they could go over any questions they might have, but... the staff wasn't all that engaged anyway. The condo was fine, the ice maker and other things that were listed were not working or were off, but otherwise fine. the first night, both my keys didn't work despite having been taken directly from the lock box and put on my passenger seat so that was fun but the man who brought the working key card was wonderful and fast and it hardly mattered in the long run! The downstairs owner (or his/her contractor) decided to start hammering and talking away at 8am both mornings we were there, which was another big issue. it was a weekend after all but we couldn't sleep with the noise.Anonymous from Denver - Posted: 10/3/2018
We appreciate all guest feedback. This guest's first reservation was made in the early evening and he was then notified of the cancellation the very next morning. The guest then contacted us five days later about the cancellation and we returned his call. He then called the next day in the early evening, which was also the date of his original check-in. At this point we were able to find the guest another vacation rental. We're sorry that this happened, and we do everything possible to avoid these situations, but double-bookings are outside of our control. Our keycard pickup is a simple process of retrieving an arrival packet from a lockbox. This information is communicated to guests via check-in instructions in our Guest Information Portal. We find that most guests prefer this as opposed to waiting in lines at a check-in desk. Ice makers are turned off between guest stays, especially during the off season when time between stays can be lengthy. If other items weren't working, we didn't receive a call from the guest about them. We're glad we were able to remedy the non-working keycards; most of the resort uses keycards and sometimes this happens. We're sorry there was work being done nearby. We do not manage the building or some of the other vacation rentals in this building. The off season is often a time when these things happen and this is reflected in the nightly rates of vacation rentals during this timeframe. We're glad you enjoyed your stay otherwise.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
Everything was so easy. Location Instructions were perfect. Getting the key cards was exactly how it was described.
We stayed a long weekend and enjoyed time with some friends who also had rented a condo in the area, had a really nice time. Bed Room was comfy, kitchen, living area and balcony were all great. Probably best suited for 2-3 people, not a large space, but certainly comfortable for us. Would definitely recommend location for ski season as well.Anonymous from Longmont - Posted: 9/11/2018
Our trip could not have been better Our condo had everything we could have wanted. I few things I would change. First and foremost the carpet is in great need of cleaning and having containers with matching lids would have been appreciated. The Summit staff was available and always very helpful. We would definitely stay again. We enjoyed nearby hiking trails, restaurants and festivalsAnonymous from Speingfield - Posted: 9/3/2018
The check-in process was easy, but the lockbox had a lot of other check-in packages so when I opened it some of the packages spilled to the floor. The unit was comfortable and well decorated. The kitchen cabinets need some repair work. 3 of the cabinets had broken doors.Anonymous from Castle Rock - Posted: 7/31/2018
Update: Our maintenance staff inspected the cabinets and found nothing wrong.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
We loved our cozy little condo and can't wait to go back! The kitchen was great and allowed us to make many meals there instead of always eating out. The bed was super comfy and even though there is no A/C, we stayed plenty cool at the end of June with the window open and a fan in the windowsill. Two TV's (netlix included) helped us relax after hikes or bike rides. Super convenient location close to several restaurants, stores, and beautiful sites! The condo was clean, stocked with more than we thought there would be. The small patio faces a parking lot, so there's really nothing super exciting about that but still a nice porch to read and drink coffee on!
Our only complaint at all really had nothing to do with our condo, but with the amenities. The outdoor hottub was cold, and the pool area seemed much smaller than we expected by the pictures online. Summit County Mountain Retreats sent several emails and texts in preparation for our trip and after check in, assuring we knew how to get there, check in, and make the most of our trip. They even allow you to text them back if you have any questions or concerns. There were no surprises, and we felt confident they were there to help us should any arise. We were thoroughly pleased with the entire experience and plan to be back!Anonymous from Columbia - Posted: 7/6/2018

We stayed for New Years Eve and loved skiing to ring it in. The unit is situated facing the outside of the village, so we loved having access to the fun, without having to hear all of the fun :)
It was clean and comfortable with the most amazing selection of blankets. We shared the unit with another couple, and had so much space move around, even with four adults. We loved having a wide range of cooking tools, as we made most of our meals in the unit-making a quick bite and then hitting the slopes again was ideal because of its proximity to the runs. Again, we couldn't have lucked out with a more perfect place.Anonymous from Phoenix - Posted: 1/3/2018

Overall this place is nice, comfortable and clean. Everything is a little worn but its still a nice place. I only have a few complaints from our stay. One is that there was no hand soap in the bathroom. So we had to wash our hands with Dawn dish soap form the kitchen the whole weekend, it just would've been nice to at least have had some hand soap in the bathroom, and the shower head barely worked, it had a very odd stream only out of one side. Other then that it was a great stay.Anonymous from Fort Wayne - Posted: 9/21/2017

I booked this condo last minute with Summit County Mountain Retreats. They were great and very helpful. The unit is about a 3 minute walk to the Gondola. It's not the closest but it certainly is not far.
The building is fine, parking ample. The unit itself has everything you need. I'd say it's perfect for 3 maybe 4 people, using the bedroom and couch. Anymore than that it's tight.
So far I'm really happy with the folks at Summit County Mountain Retreats. They are on top of everything and we have booked another stay with them in the fabulous Lone Eagle next month.Anonymous from Miami - Posted: 11/22/2016

This condo is very adequate for 2-3 people. The location in Expedition Station is excellent, close to all the activities of River Run at Keystone. Rooms were exactly as pictured and clean. Check in was quick and we had all we needed to get settled. Going in late August, afforded less crowds and our choice of meal times in the restaurants. One thing the condo needs is an updated hair dryer. It overheated so often and the cord was not very long and attached to the wall. It was very frustrating.Anonymous - Posted: 8/24/2016
We only used the village condo one night but had a a great experience. From entering the private parking garage, right up to the condo door all was as advertised, even the secure bike racks in the garage. We went to Breckinridge for dinner but the kitchen was well stocked. No AC but the few days in the summer you would need it . All was ok.. Closets well stocked with fans but our one night was a pleasant one after dark. We have favorited this condo and will return for the winter ski seasonAnonymous from Longmont - Posted: 8/18/2016
We had a great time wondering around the area. We are Denver natives that haven't been to Summit County since our kids were born. Boy has it changed! River Run and Keystone were awesome. Breckenridge was a nightmare.Anonymous from Denver - Posted: 8/1/2016
We had a great experience....the condo was just as it was picture on the website. The area is beautiful and has everything you need if you dont want to venture too far from 'home'; and we will definitely book there again!Anonymous from Chaska - Posted: 7/11/2016
Enjoyed another stay in Keystone River Run village with family & friends: hiking & biking, the pools & hot tubs, and the village scene. Great rates in June, weather and activities are fantastic, Expedition Station, Buffalo, and Dakota complexes and condos have all been very nice, including this unit.Anonymous from Milwaukee - Posted: 7/3/2016
Everything was great. The oven didn't work, which changed the game for our cooking.Anonymous from Wheat Ridge - Posted: 6/14/2016

This was a family vacation for my wife son and I. We are all avid skiers and this was our first visit to Keystone. The facility was great and has everything needed to make the stay feel like home. The only complaint we had was the firmness of the mattress. It was a struggle to get a good nights sleep with the combination of muscle fatigue and this piece of furniture. We actually ended up putting the spare blankets and comforters under the bedcover to provide some extra cushion. Aside from this we loved the facility. The humidifiers were a wonderful touch as well, coming from a much more humid environment these were a welcomed find. Only other issue we had was an overflowing toilet, which was rectified with the the plunger provided in the facility and the staff replaced towels timely the next morning. The hot tub and pool were great tooAnonymous from North Olmsted - Posted: 4/10/2016
This was a clean, spacious 1 bedroom. The heated pool and hot tub were a huge hit with my children. Close to everything.Anonymous from Erie - Posted: 3/31/2016
You should provide soap for your guests. Hand soap & bath soap should be a standard amenity in a rental. The shower head needs to be replaced.
Also we were never able to gain access through the front door of the building. Our key card never worked so we could not get in through the front door. Kinda a pain. We called twice about the problem and it was never fixed. Apparently It's not the rental companies problem it's the property managers problem and vise
versa. No one was willing to help us.Anonymous from Oklahoma city - Posted: 3/20/2016

Good location, nice place. The living area is on the small size, but good for small family.Anonymous from Denver - Posted: 12/9/2015
My boyfriend and I rented this unit over Labor Day and were very comfortable. Very well kept up & clean and modern amenities. The Jacuzzi and Pool were PERFECT for the weather and we thought this was priced very well and was a great value. Will return!Anonymous from Laguna Niguel - Posted: 9/15/2015
