This little condo is perfect for your Keystone stay. It’s so conveniently located. Walk to everything! The bed is comfy and the kitchen is well stocked. Highly recommend!Anonymous from Port Charlotte - Posted: 9/5/2024

We liked the bldg and pool but the unit needed a screen in the bedroom which didn't get replaced while we were there.I also called to get a pitcher but they had none. They gave a number to call for help but I tried several times and housekeeping never picked up. I then called maintenance, they answered but that didn't turn out to help either. The couch was ok, bed was good but the wood furniture is old and very warn. We would definitely use Summit Country Mountain Retreats another time- just a different unit!Anonymous from Burnsville - Posted: 7/14/2024

Room tight. Clean. Everything worked. quiet. No exhaust fan.Anonymous from Woodbury - Posted: 3/24/2024
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I’m very disappointed to see that our service was below your expectations. We would like to know more. Please send us an email directly and a manager can reach out to you regarding your concerns.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
This unit is fairly small, it says sleeps 6, bit 4 or 5 would be max. There was 5 small bath towels, no extras for going to the pool or hot tub and took over a day to get more towels. So overall not bad, but not a place to stay with lots of room and great service.Anonymous from Gallatin - Posted: 3/17/2024
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. Had we known the HOA was out of pool towels, we could have provided more.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
Overall good experience. Layout of the unit is not great (wasted space) but it worked.Anonymous from Spring - Posted: 2/18/2024
Thank you so much for your positive rating for your recent visit with us at Summit County Mountain Retreats.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
This is exactly what I hope to see for a summer visit to what is probably mostly known for a winter sports resort. The landscaping is beautiful and the summer garden boxes are stunning. The resort and village were uncrowded and had plenty of restaurants open to handle breakfast, lunch and dinner. The unit was fresh and clean with every amenity imaginable. The rental staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I was here for a business trip and I am already planning a return trip with my fly fishing gear.Anonymous - Posted: 8/28/2023
Thank you for your review!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
Excellent place for a couple or small family. The property was clean, all the appliances worked, and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots and pans needed to cook at home.
The only negative was the bed. It was small and very uncomfortable. We would rate everything five stars except for the bed!
Anonymous from Glenarm - Posted: 4/1/2023
Finding a mattress that satisfies the mass amount of renters we see is just not possible, but we do like to see every guest comfortable during their stay. If someone does not like the mattress we can offer a replacement air-mattress or mattress topper if we are made aware of the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your feedback!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
This place was nice and a great location being able to walk to the ski lift is great! Plus the garage parking (A little tight though!) was excellent never had to worry about parking. The only downside I noticed was the lack of space to properly stretch before skiing other than that the place was great. Thank you!Anonymous from Cleveland - Posted: 2/9/2022

Check in not easy. Be sure to read through the guidebook carefully before you are driving around getting frustrated. Otherwise the place is fine.Anonymous from Arroyo Hondo - Posted: 12/20/2021

Condo was as pictured in the listing. It was close to lift and shops and restaurants.Anonymous from Point Venture - Posted: 2/24/2020
Overall, we had a great time and this place was perfect for a group of friends looking for a last minute ski getaway. The parking lot is a tight, so definitely have some patience parking!Anonymous from Denver - Posted: 2/11/2020

We had a fabulous two day ski trip and this condo was perfect for us! Great location, clean and comfortable!Anonymous from Monument - Posted: 11/27/2019
The rental was beautiful with all the cleanliness, supplies, and beautiful details to make one feel at home. It was a bummer that the halls were being worked on and there were blowers blowing on all floors day and night. We also get that summer is the best time to make repairs. It was hot at night and we had to sleep with the windows open, delightful though. The bummer about that was that few of the neighbors slept. There was yelling and going ons all night every night we were there. It was a perfect get away, and we may not stay there again. We need our sleep.Anonymous from Commerce City - Posted: 8/28/2019
We apologize for the noisy guests and blowers. Quite hours are between 10pm-8am daily. Anytime someone is violating these rules, we ask that the guests contact us so that we can alert the proper Keystone authorities. Thank you very much for your feedback.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
This condo was very nice and clean. Great location. My only complaint is that both of the beds and the pillows were not very comfortable. I suggest investing in better quality pillows and mattresses or at the very least some good mattress pads.Anonymous - Posted: 7/17/2019
Good place to relax. Kitchen was huge.Anonymous from Lincoln - Posted: 6/30/2019
The condo was perfect for our family’s short stay in Keystone. We went skiing at Loveland Ski Resort, about 30 min away. Beds were comfy and condo was very clean. Loved the soap and shampoo samples. Plenty of towels. Kitchen area was great! The shower and then separate shower/tub areas were perfect, along with the two separate bathroom sink areas. Living room space was a bit cramped for all of us (3 teens and two adults) but we had room for what we needed and it was 100% better than having a hotel room. Pool and hot tub areas were a hit as well as the steam room.Anonymous from Milford - Posted: 4/22/2019
Clean and comfortable for one person.Anonymous from Pittsburgh - Posted: 4/21/2019
Cozy little condo with nice utilization of space. Although the unit is narrow, they maximize the space to sleep six. The kitchen is very nice, with granite countertops and upgraded appliances. The two bathrooms were a bonus as well. The complex is a short walk to the Village and gondola, and right outside are the bus routes. One negative is the unit faces the parking lot, and the plows woke us up at 4:00 am. They do have a fan in the unit, so perhaps use it for some white noise. Ultimately, a nice unit with nice amenities.Anonymous - Posted: 3/23/2019
This condo was perfect for a week trip to Keystone! Conveniently located right by the village and only a couple minute walk from the gondola. Ski locker storage was nice to keep the condo from being too crowded. All in all a great stay!Anonymous from Ralston - Posted: 2/26/2019
Had an amazing time. The amenities were great. Two heads for the shower. That was awesome. Would have been a tight for with 6 but it was perfect for two.Anonymous from Denver - Posted: 10/3/2018
Room was comfortable and fit our family of 5 wonderfully for an easy to live with price. Within driving range of Silverthorne and Breckenridge for more options to shop, dine out, or just enjoy the beautiful mountain life.Anonymous - Posted: 8/12/2018
The actual condo was adorable and clean. However the halls of the building were all torn up and floor boards were missing. Was not a great first impression. Thank goodness the room was nice.Anonymous from Emeryville - Posted: 8/1/2018
Check in was a little annoying but other than that it was a solid experience. Good little apartment with all you need and pretty decent views. Pool was closed and hottub was cold which was a bummer.Anonymous - Posted: 7/10/2018
The description was accurate, the property was clean, and well equipped. We liked the location and the amenities (ski lockers, hot tub, pool, etc...). There were 4 of us (2 adults, 1 teen and a child) and it was a tight squeeze w/ luggage, but we made it work..using every inch of space. We weren't in the room much anyway so it wasn't a big deal. We had to juggle furniture around to get the bed out of the wall and pull the sofa out, but we made it work. We did call twice due to a shortage in the number of extra one was brought within 15 minutes. We also locked ourselves out by accident and they came right away. Service was awesome! Thank you!Anonymous - Posted: 5/1/2018
We stayed for 2 nights during a quick weekend escape from Houston to the slopes. The unit and complex are great. I knew going in that the unit backed the bus stop and planned accordingly with ear plugs and small fan. Expedition Station is probably the furthest complex from the gondola, and more than a 5 minute, uphill walk with gear.
S.C.M.R. again was a treat to deal with.Anonymous from Houston - Posted: 3/26/2018
We stayed 3 nights and were without hot water twice. One morning the water was cold but we had pressure. Called and left 2 messages on the Summit County Mountain Retreats emergency and non-emergency voicemails, did not get return call. Water was hot that evening when returned from slopes. Then the next afternoon we had very low hot water pressure and water was cold. Called and left messages again, also emailed SCMR. No returned calls, but I got an email reply the next day, "they would send someone over". By then the water was back on. Was out for several hours. Also, ambient temp in the unit was very warm, even though the heating was off. We opened balcony door and a window to cool down. Other than the issues with the hot water, the unit was fine. A little tight in the living room and bedroom, but we weren't looking for spacious quarters, just a place to shower, eat and sleep, and it served the purpose well. Location is walking distance to gondola, takes 6-8 minutes in ski boots and carrying equipment, so not bad. Outdoor hot tub, indoor sauna and gym were nice, didn't try pool, but others were using it.Anonymous from ROCHEPORT - Posted: 3/26/2018
This 1 bedroom condo was perfect for our use as a home base for day trips to view the fall aspen in all their glory. The unit was very clean and everything was as advertised. The only commet for improvement would be a smaller coffee table to make it easier to get big deal. We would definitely stay there again.Anonymous from Olathe - Posted: 9/30/2017
We rented this property for the Mountain Town Music Festival in Keystone and the location was excellent! The property was clean and as described in the photos. I am giving the rental 3 stars because the kitchen faucet handle was broken and the dishwasher seemed to be in disrepair as well. Neither maintenance issue caused a problem during out stay but more so an inconvenience filling up water bottles and cleaning up before we left. I'm surprised both issues were not addressed or mentioned before I checked in. Im hoping this was an isolated incident with this property/management company. Otherwise the accommodations were great!Anonymous from Columbus - Posted: 9/6/2017
Everthing was great. Pool and hot tub are outstanding. The condo interior is well
maintained. Managment company friendly and helpful.Anonymous from CORDOVA - Posted: 8/19/2017
This unit is extremely attractive, cozy, and comfortable, and ideally situated close to the resort. The only downside was that there was a LOT of noise outside during the night, and because there was no air conditioning, the windows were open. As a result, we had a terrible time sleeping. This would not be an issue for a sound sleeper or in the winter.Anonymous - Posted: 8/1/2017
We enjoyed are stay at Expedition Station # 8576 very much. The apartment was clean, well equipped, everything was working, convenient to the Keystone Village and especially enjoyed the second bathroom. We will definitely return to this rental apartment in the future.Anonymous - Posted: 7/7/2017

We've stayed with SCMR about 6-7 times over the past few years, and it's always a positive experience. The properties are immaculate and the experience is seamless. This particular unit was great!Anonymous from Denver - Posted: 5/2/2017
Cozyy one bedroom, unit was small and clean as advertised. A great place to rest your head and share a meal while visiting Keystone's River Run Village. The bed in the master bedroom and the murphy bed are both queen size beds.
Overall the unit was comfortable with 3 people but would not want to sleep 6 in it. Walking distance to the gondola was ~5min.Anonymous from ELKHORN - Posted: 4/19/2017
Small condo for all the furniture but clean and modern.Anonymous from Cheyenne - Posted: 4/11/2017
Very clean - just a short walk to the Village, and River Run Gondola. It was a bit tight for 5 people, (2 adults / 3 kids) but we made it work! My wife and kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub after skiing /riding all day. Having underground/heated parking was a real bonus too! We would stay here again.Anonymous from Okemos - Posted: 4/10/2017
Unit was way smaller and tighter than I expected. We needed to move furniture around to be able to get around. Unit did not have a dvd player like it said it did, but the front office took care of that right away. Very close to the slopes, but there was a large ski club in town that same week. The ski club took up a lot of the facilities in River Run (restaurants, ski rentals...).Anonymous from Longmont - Posted: 3/22/2017
Really loved the condo but a pillow top or a mattress change is really needed!
Also please change initial info letter to state locker keys are hanging on the wall
and parking is below the building, with key cards needed to get in and out.
Overall lovely building. Nice condo. Had a good time.
Anonymous from Houston - Posted: 3/21/2017
Biggest complaint was no way to regulate heat- stifling most of the time. It is a little tight in living room for 4 adults to see TV and not be sitting on top of each other. Had rented movies too tired to do anything else after day on mountain. A larger screen or ability to swivel it would be helpfulAnonymous from Waunakee - Posted: 3/14/2017
Enjoy are stayAnonymous from Seneca - Posted: 2/27/2017
No complaints. Fit us perfectly.Anonymous from Chicago - Posted: 1/27/2017
Pictures do it justice. Nicely furnished, kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal and eat in. It is a little cramped with murphy bed pulled down and can imagine it would be more so with sofa. Only DVD player was in bedroom. Would be nicer to be in living room to entertain kids when prepping dinner, etc. The unit was almost unbearably hot and thermostat did not work to lower heat so we ended up cracking windows open--in December.Anonymous from Castle Pines - Posted: 1/2/2017
Great place and you can't beat the location.Anonymous from Overland Park - Posted: 11/22/2016
This condo by far exceeded our expectations. It was clean, and very well designed to provide everything needed for a comfortable stay.Anonymous - Posted: 9/15/2016

Location is great. Great for a couple, would be tight for 6. Internet was good.Anonymous from Livingston - Posted: 7/17/2016
The location was great. It was just a short walk for coffee, dining or kids activities. The size was good for the five of us but we have three small children. It was nice and clean.Anonymous from Wilber - Posted: 7/17/2016
As expected, small but everything our party of six needed for a quick ski trip. The ski lockers and year rounded heated pool were a nice park. The staff even mailed us a lost item we left for free to weeks after our trip!Anonymous from Centennial - Posted: 3/22/2016
This was a very good unit. The only drawbacks were that the hot tub outside in the common area was not opened at 8:00 a.m. Also, the shower in the locker room was stripped of the plumbing for the whole time of our stay. That's River Run's responsibility ... and should have been fixed so it could be used.Anonymous from Wilmington - Posted: 3/12/2016
Perfectly suited for three adults. This vacay stay worked very well for us. I loved that it had the extra bathroom space. The only thing that was missing upon our arrival was extra trash bags of any kind throughout. So on the evening I discovered that we need a couple of trash bags, I called and left a message and they were promptly delivered the next day! I was especially pleased to find this place in this location at this price! Thank you. We enjoyed!Anonymous from OMAHA - Posted: 2/28/2016
My husband and I stayed at the condo for a ski trip. The overall condo facility was great - location, amenities (ski lockers, pool table, hot tub, etc). The condo itself was clean and just the right size with a very comfortable living area and a well stocked kitchen. The furniture and decor add to the mountain feel and are in good condition. If you like a really firm bed then you'd like the bed in the condo. My only suggestion is that the bed linens, pillows, blanket and comforter be updated as what's there now is pretty worn.Anonymous from Bainbridge Island - Posted: 1/31/2016
This unit was perfect for our last minute ski vacation. The location (ski in / ski out) was great for the different level skiers. The complex amenities, heated underground garage, outside hot tub and pool, pool table, and ski lockers, made it very nice. The Murphy Bed in the dining room was a great addition to the queen bed in the bedroom and the pull out couch. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking our meals.Anonymous - Posted: 11/27/2015
We stayed in this condo for a summer wedding, the check in was easy with clear directions, the property was easy to find, and our condo was clean and in great condition. Would recommend this property for anyone looking to stay in the Keystone Village.Anonymous - Posted: 9/15/2015
Recently stayed 3 nights in this condo with my husband and teenage daughter. The unit is smaller than it appears but was fully accommodating. none of the units are air conditioned and it was warmer than usual during our stay. The office brought us two box fans right away when we called. This unit has a partial view of a parking lot and mountainside. It was fine for a short stay but would want something larger and with a better view if staying longer. River Run Village is a quaint village with shopping and several restaurants within walking distance. Overall a very nice location and property.Anonymous from Jacksonville - Posted: 8/1/2015
A very nice place to stay, easy to check in, great directions to find, the accomodations were very nice- a little cramped with the big coffee table in the fireplace area but overall everything you may need for a stay was available.Anonymous from Rapid City - Posted: 7/22/2015
overall it was great. The only areas that could have used improvement were the Murphy bed linens and the half bath off of the kitchen.Anonymous from Lakewood - Posted: 12/3/2014

We had a great time in Keystone! The weather was perfect - not too hot, not too cold. There is actually tons to do in the summer...mountain biking, hiking, swimming, festivals, etc. The condo was perfect for my wife and I to relax in. Had everything we needed. We hope to come back, maybe during the winter.Anonymous - Posted: 8/15/2014
I planned this summer vacation to spend quality time with my two kids (18 yr old and 21 yr old). We live in the St. Louis, MO area. I've always loved CO since I was young, and I think my kids may have gotten a lot of my outdoor appreciation genes. We absolutely loved our vacation, and I was very satisfied with our condo, and the surrounding area. We would love to go back to the same location and have another awesome experience in Keystone and the area. Very cool...keep up the great work!!!!!!Anonymous from Pacific - Posted: 7/3/2014

Excellent accommodations. I frequently utilize VRBO, so I seek ratings by others who have stayed at the location. I have no reservations recommending this site for a small group looking to get away.Anonymous from Dalhart - Posted: 2/11/2014
We appreciated the cleanliness of the room.the cleaning staff left plenty of towels, which is always appreciated. The Murphy bed was a nice touch, so that we did not have to pull out the couch. The only issue was that the main living area was a lot smaller than expected. I certainly would not recommend 6 people stay there. It was tight and we could not sit at the table com portably to eat, with 4 people. IAnonymous from Littleton - Posted: 1/22/2014
The condo was great! 5 of us stayed there for a skiing vacation over New Year's. Everything was great - the only slight complaint we had was where to put our trash. I know that sounds strange but there were no trash cans around anywhere - especially for our kitchen trash. I know that sounds silly :-) Beautiful condo that we would definitely stay at again!Anonymous from MELBOURNE BEACH - Posted: 1/6/2014
We loved the place but I especially love that I was able to get my clothes back that I accidentally left in the closet!! Thank you for that!Anonymous from Littleton - Posted: 12/10/2013

My son and I met in Denver to enjoy a few days of Spring skiing together. This condo worked out well for us; the location was very good, garage was handy, and amenities just right. Only things that I would wish for were better cable TV (did not have all of the NCAA tournament games), and the room temp was too hot even with stat down all of the way, we had to keep windows partially open to stay comfortable! All in all, for a Father-Son get away, it was just great!Anonymous from Bloomfield Hills - Posted: 4/2/2013
Room was in a great location in Keystone. Walking distance to the slopes and down the steps to the pool and hottub. The condo itself was tight for 5, but they maximize the space. You pull out the bed from the couch and you realize that your just a few inches from the fireplace. Really appreciated the luggage carts on the property and wagons to tote the ski equipment to the lift. Some times the small things make a big difference.
Only complaint would be the chairs around the dining table. Couldn't fit the whole family which made family time around the table disjointed and awkward. Should think about putting a bench seat along the wall next to the murphy bed so that you can squeeze some more bodies around the table. Overall, a great stay and a great value for the location.Anonymous from Smyrna - Posted: 3/8/2013

The location was perfect. The condo was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Heated garage is awesome. Only thing we would change is the mattress in the bedroom, very uncomfortable. Other than that we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.Anonymous from Tabernacle - Posted: 11/1/2012
This was a wonderful stay compared to hotels! We wished we would have found this place sooner and were able to stay longer! Expedition Station was really nice and the room we stayed in was very comfortable! They told us it sleeps six but we were four adults and with all the luggage we were crowded! It really didn't have many places to store the luggage to get it out of the way! Also, there was no air conditioning! Having gotten the negatives out of the way, this was a 9 out of 10. We were on the second floor kitty corner from the laundry (coin operated) WONDERFUL! The kitchen had a ice maker and dish washer which my adults kids appreciated so much!
I never met any of the staff but the people we talked too to book this place were really professional and did everything they said they would! Plus, we decided we'd like to stay an extra night and they gave us a really affordable rate! We asked for another fan and they delivered it the next morning! We were lucky the weather was so pleasant or it may have been uncomfortable!~ Overall, we wished we could have stayed longer!

Generally the High Rockies do not have properties with A/C. It is only missed during the afternoon on a hand full of days per year. Even on the hottest days, the temps do not get above 78 in the afternoons. The night time temps are always in the 50's or less. These facts combined with the very low humidity make A/C an afterthought at best. I did not believe this before I lived here. I am from the Houston area and my world view was that you would have to be a true massacist to go on vacation to a place without A/C. NOT TRUE IN THE HIGH ROCKIES.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
We just wanted a few days to get away. We played near the river, hiked, swam, read books, and relaxed in the hot tub. A great get away!Anonymous from Parker - Posted: 6/19/2012

stayed in river run 10x in last 20 years always a good time and great locationAnonymous from Lenexa - Posted: 2/29/2012
Have stayed in the River Run area several times. If you are just interested in a place to sleep and take a shower, then this property would work for more than three people, but it will be cozy. If choosing a non-Vail Resort property, the price must be right, because VR properties come with some perks like Arrival Day lift tickets and no separate cleaning fee, plus fresh towels every day ... perks this property did NOT come with. This trip was three men, so the property was fine, just had to put the Murphy Bed up and down at night. The main bad side was this property faces the skiing parking lot at River Run, and the BobCats started clearing now at 0600 Monday morning!!! Also, would recommend the property management put tile in the entry way. Would save wear-n-tear on the carpet in the entry where boots are supposed to be removed.Anonymous from Lake Saint Louis - Posted: 2/19/2012
Thank you for staying with us. All properties in Keystone are owned by individual owners. It is not within any property management companies ability to determine the layout, design or features of any privately owned condo. It is true that Vail operated properties do not charge a seperate cleaning fee. Instead they charge a much higher nightly rate for every single night a guest stays. Our company does provide daily towels, upon request. In most cases towels are not requested because we stock our condos with about double the amount of towels as our competitors. We understand it can be frustrating with snow removers and other equipment disturbing guests. Though this is an issue, all we can do is continually request that Vail Resorts snow removers will be more considerate of guests. One great advantage you have with Summit County Mountain Retreats is that we allow our guests to choose the condo they want. Our competitors rent you a particular size condo and then put you in the condo that is most convienent for them, not you. Again we thank you for staying with us and we do care about your experience and will continue to work towards improving all guest experiences.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
The property is very nice and conveniently located walking distance from the slope.Anonymous from Littleton - Posted: 2/5/2012
Great condo for 5 people (1 bedroom, 1 murphy and one convertible bed). Close to slopes. Parking in the garage was tight and tricky, especially for a van or large SUV.Anonymous from Irvine - Posted: 1/8/2012
