Here is my honest review. Condo was clean but old. The couch was probably the original couch when the property was first developed. Very old and not comfortable. The noise level at night was very loud with trucks going by constantly. Beds were clean and comfortable. Sign on the microwave said out of order. They should spend $$ to replace it not put a countertop unit there. I would not stay there again unless the owner took pride in their property and made some small upgradesAnonymous from Madeira Beach - Posted: 9/22/2024
Thank you for your honest feedback. We will review this information with our team to see how we can improve for future stays!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
A very clean condo. No complaints with the unit. However, it was on the 4th floor and the elevator was broken. The car garage was located in the basement/yet another level. Stairs at that Colorado altitude(9,200ft) are a challenge for the elderly.Anonymous from Thornton - Posted: 9/10/2024
We're sorry to see that the elevator was broken during your stay and can definitely understand the inconvenience this must have caused. We're thankful to see that you still enjoyed the condo and your overall stay and appreciate your feedback!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
Had to stay in the area for work for 1 night. There were 3 of us and this place had 2 rooms and a sofa bed which was nice. However, the check in process was obnoxious and finding the codes we needed was confusing. There were 2 different parking codes on the portal, only 1 of them worked but I had to dig for it. I was able to find the garage code fairly easily, but the room code seemed to disappear from the portal the next morning. I had to leave to get coffee because the kitchen only had sugar, no cream. The microwave was broken and there was no a/c. The beds were decent but not great. There were also inconsistencies on check in times between thr listing, the emails, and the portals. They also charge $15/hr for early check in.Anonymous from Berthoud - Posted: 8/25/2024
We strive to make our check in process as simple as possible for our guests and are sorry to see that was not your experience! We will review our check in process for this property for any potential improvements. AC is not common here is Summit County and it's difficult to find a mattress that suits all of our renters preferences, but we want all of our guests to be comfortable during their stay and apologize for any inconveniences that this may have caused! We hope that you enjoyed your overall vacation and appreciate your honest feedback!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
I love this space!
I appreciated the ease of checking in, the quality of the condo including cleanliness.
It was super quiet and peaceful.

We're happy to see that you enjoyed the property, including the cleanliness and check in process! Thank you for your review!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
No problems receiving the codes for the general entrance areas - to include the garage entrance - and the apartment unit code. Unit was super clean, location is excellent for being away from the traffic areas, and we loved the hot tubs and game areas for our family of six. Only bummer was the noise from highway 6.Anonymous from NA - Posted: 8/18/2024
We appreciate all your kind words! To hear the check in process was easy and the unit was very clean is much appreciated and we will pass this along to our team. Have a great day!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff

The condo is in a great location to the slopes. It is an easy walk for little kiddos to mountain west. The hot tubs were nice for after a day of skiing. The main suite face hwy 6, so you hear cars at night. We were able to use a white noise app to help drown out the sound. The kitchen was well stocked with crockpot, pans and utenstilsAnonymous from Arvada - Posted: 3/20/2024

A month after making my reservation the host reached out saying I would need to pay another $150 fee and that if I did not pay it my reservation would be cancelled. This was in addition to the other two fees I paid for when making the reservation. They claimed this was for a “cleaning fee” but they didn’t have this cleaning fee listed anywhere on the page when I booked which is standard for every other listing on these sites. I ended up just paying the fee because I didn’t want them to cancel my reservation. But I’m disgusted with how this happened. When talking with their email support they claimed that they have in their policies that they’re “allowed to add any additional charges they see fit.”
They’re clearly taking advantage of people. Absolutely awful experience.Anonymous from Centennial - Posted: 12/9/2023
We do apologize that you were inconvenienced with the clerical error on our end. When the booking was made, the cleaning fee was not include in the charges due to an error. Once the error was corrected and resolved, we did reach out to the guest and asked them to pay the additional cleaning, as this is a service we did provide after their stay. The guest agreed to pay the cleaning fee in order to keep the reservation. However, they were offered a chance to cancel for a full refund. We do have a clause in our rental agreement that does explain this can happen at times and while it is rare we use, the guest did sign our rental agreement at the time of booking acknowledging this could possibly happen.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff

Well decorated, small condo. Comfy bed and pillows. No A/C. Living room is very small. Couch only, no room for chairs. Biggest disappointment is traffic noise from Hwy 6 when windows or slider is open. Ice maker didn’t work. Condo needs some non-stick skillets. Not much provided in kitchen except spices. Condo better suited for two people than a family.Anonymous from Berryville - Posted: 10/1/2023
Thank you for your honest review and feedback! A/C is a rarity here in Summit County due to our low temperatures during the evenings in the summer as well as guest are always provided with fans to help circulate air if they do find it a bit warm!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
We were surprised at how roomy the place is, and so nicely decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked as well, and we had a view of the mountain.Anonymous from Cleveland - Posted: 9/28/2023

Overall a good stay. Kitchen, master bedroom, master bath and porch were all large. Living room was small and dining at counter barely fits 3...but it's such a great price that you weigh that and decide. Master bed comfortable, 2nd bed not quite as options. Skylight in 2nd bedroom, didn't bother that person. It was pretty warm at times and there is loud road noise, but plenty of fans! It wasn't crowded. We played pool a couple of times, there are 2 hot tubs, underground parking and elevators. I would suggest instructions for the shower! And don't drink the coffee! Be sure to ride bikes down from the pass in the fun! (We had no interaction with management)Anonymous from Colorado Springs - Posted: 8/30/2023

Check-in was a hassle. The door code sent via email didn't work. Found the building property manager (not associated with SCMR) and verified I wasn't doing anything stupid/wrong. Called SCMR; no answer; left voicemail. Waited ~30 mins for callback before building mgr suggested going to their office a few blocks away. Drove there, found one person working and handling the phones which explains the lack of callback. He said the door code didn't update properly and gave me the previous one that worked. So ~1hr check-in hassle was a poor start. BR2 has a skylight right over the bed with no way to cover/shade resulting in lack of sleep for kids at 7PM-MDT . Ended up purchasing two suspension rods and a blackout curtain panel at WalMart the next day to resolve this issue. Otherwise, everything else was satisfactory.Anonymous from Dayton - Posted: 6/19/2023

Hidden River was just what we need for a quick ski getaway. Clean, quiet and conveniently located to almost anything you might need. Hidden River Lodge was an amazing and cozy place to stay! A perfect size and the fireplace created a nice ambiance. The view outside was absolutely beautiful! Easy access to the resort with a short walk through the pathway or drive to the resort. The bed was very comfortable and bathrooms were spacious. We also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub with views of the resort! We would absolutely come back!Anonymous from Decatur - Posted: 1/30/2023

Hidden River lodge had everything we needed in a condo!!! Absolutely no complaints.!!!! We really were within walking distance to the Slopes!! I really liked that!! Our stay was good. Condo was very clean and quiet, beds were very comfortable. Living room was really too small for the 6 of us but we made do. The deck was our favorite place to be. The master room was nice but couldn’t leave windows open at night because the road noise was so bad from the semis going thru the road to Loveland Pass. The last night we put a fan in the window and it really cooled the room down and drowned the noise. The guest bedroom got hot at night because there was only a sky light and no air, but there are several fans in the closet. The bathrooms were super clean and well stocked. Kitchen was great. One of the hot tubs was cold but there wasn’t anyone else around so no biggie. The residents there said they see a moose and her baby walk thru by the Snake River sometimes, but we missed them. Overall our stay was really good.Anonymous from Salem - Posted: 8/6/2022

Nicely equipped kitchen and bath. The elevator to the fourth floor was greatly appreciated by my mother. The only negative I would say was the skylight in the front bedroom as the sun was an early wakeup call and no window for a breeze. The deck was a really nice plus!!! The overall rental experience was excellent!! Enjoyed Lake Dillion which is really close. Drove into Breckenridge for dinner which is also very close. I would definitely recommend this rental property. I plan to stay here again when I visit next year.Anonymous from Blue Springs - Posted: 6/25/2022

Excelente apartamento con toda sus comodidades, muy buena localización y estacionamiento bajo techo. En el mismo parque de esquiar. El servicio de check in súper fácil. RecomendadoAnonymous - Posted: 4/13/2021
We had a near perfect stay. 3 couples fit pretty comfortably, with the pull out bed and two bathrooms. Had all essentials when it comes to bath and kitchen supplies. Two garage spots were clutch for avoiding snowy nights. 5 min walk to Peru lift made skiing that much more enjoyable (had to drive for night skiing and village exploring). Only down side was hot tub was closed due to COVID (even though hot tubs in village were open). Management was great, with a texting feature for any questions or problems. Do recommend!Anonymous from Bonne Terre - Posted: 3/26/2021

Great location. Quick stay but found the place clean, comfortable and would stay here again.Anonymous from COLORADO SPRINGS - Posted: 2/2/2021
This unit is exactly as shown and described in listing. Everything worked and was in good condition. Laundry (quarters or credit card) was across the hall. Garage parking was wonderful. Elevator goes directly from garage to room levels.
Everything possilbe is in kitchen and bathrooms. Fireplace is gas fired and easy to light and use.
Mountain House area of Keystone is walkable, but a little tough carrying skis. We drove over to Lot D which was free when we were there (Jan 11-15) and is about 100 yards from Peru lift.
We will return to this unit.Anonymous from Lincroft - Posted: 1/17/2021

This was my second stay at Hidden River Lodge. The unit and property overall were both well maintained and comfortable. The only downside was that starting this year the Keystone Shuttle no longer services the property. This will be a consideration when planning my future visits to Keystone, as everyone can't use the rental car at the same time.Anonymous from CHURCHVILLE - Posted: 2/3/2020
perfect location for everything.Anonymous from Parker - Posted: 1/30/2020
The 2 bedroom/2 bedroom condo was just as expected. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, blankets and the kitchen was furnished with all necessary items. The heated garage was a nice feature as well as the ski lockers. It was a short walk to the Mountain House Lodge and ski lift. We carried our gear the first day then realized we could use a resort wagon to cart our ski gear back and forth.Anonymous from Driftwood - Posted: 12/29/2019
The rental was nice, we’re new to Colorado so making the most of this stay was ideal. The property was inviting and enough room to accommodate a family of six! We really enjoyed our stay.Anonymous from Houston - Posted: 11/17/2019
Condo was clean and well kept. No fault of the property owner, but there is a lot of road noise in the master bedroom all night. King bed has developed a bit of a sag but was overall comfortable enough. Apparently the building management was painting the hall during our stay so all the fire boxes were taken down and leaned along the walls and fans were running all day.Anonymous from Loveland - Posted: 10/1/2019

The condo had everything we needed. Two bedroom, two bath with a nice big kitchen and cozy living room. The location is great! Very close to the slopes, you can drive from there or call the free shuttle. Will definitely stay here again.Anonymous from Lakewood - Posted: 11/21/2017
Let me start out with the Pros: The condo was clean, in a beautiful location, it was easy to find, the check in/out process was simple. The towels and linens were fantastic. We got a great deal on the rate, due to the time of year and a promo code I was sent via email. For the price, you can't beat it. We did have a few minor issues: The internet in our condo never worked. I did call management, and they had us sign on another wifi network. It worked, but was spotty and frequently dropped out. This was on the first few days of our trip to CO. We went to another location for a few days, then had booked this condo again. When we came back, the wifi still did not work. The shower heads in both bathrooms desperately need to be replaced. The living room is quite small, photo angle makes it look larger. All of that being said, we enjoyed our stay very much. I would book with Summit County again.Anonymous from Center - Posted: 9/19/2017

Summit County offers the best Colorado summer family vacation experience. You can stay at a hotel/motel in Frisco or Dillon or for the same price stay in a much nicer setting in Keystone.Anonymous from XXXXX - Posted: 8/13/2017
Here in July 2017 for educational conference along with my spouse and a family friend. Stayed 6 nights.Anonymous from Chinook - Posted: 7/29/2017
The condo was quaint, clean, and comfortable. The vaulted ceilings when you walk in are very nice and make the condo seem even bigger. A short drive to Dillon was easy if you needed more than what Keystone offered. It was also a beautiful drive to Breckenridge on Swan Lake Drive. The condo itself was was quiet, and the few people we ran into also staying in the building were very friendly. The big community deck was set with beautiful flowers and overlooked part of Keystone ski resort. It was beautiful scenery. Our family enjoyed the well-kept hot tubs almost every night. We opened the windows at night. There was a little bit of highway noise from trucks going by, but we'd close our windows about 5am to sleep a bit longer. We also enjoyed playing pool as a family. The parking spot below in the garage made it convenient to park and just take elevator to our floor. This came in handy as we packed lunches and snacks everyday before heading out for our adventure. The hot water for showering in the master took a while to warm up enough to get in, but always plenty once it got hot. Would definitely consider staying here again, especially for the price.Anonymous - Posted: 7/12/2017
Everything was absolutely perfect! The location was close to Arapahoe Basin, which has snow nearly year round. The place was clean with plenty of towels, kitchen/bathroom essentials, and had very comfortable beds.Anonymous from New Iberia - Posted: 6/7/2017

I enjoyed our getaway at this location. The area was cozy, a bit small with how some of the furniture fits, but it was still nice. Very comfortable and inviting, all the necessities were included. Only issue we had was getting the fireplace to turn on. After you go through some steps to flip on the pilot light and such, you should be able to flip a light switch and have it power on. No luck for us, sadly. Regardless, still a wonderful spot!Anonymous from Leawood - Posted: 11/28/2016
Perfect location, seconds away from the slopes, rental places and local bars! Had a great time during the trip, the only thing I would try to improve would be the quality of the bed in the master bedroom. We had a great weekend in the condo! It was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. We have 3 kids ages 14, 9, and 8 and it was plenty of room for us.The insulated garage was nice to have since it was snowing the evening we got there. The location is convenient to the area attractions. If I were to nitpick, I'd say there needs to be more extra pillows and the beds weren't the most comfortable beds I've ever been in, but it was fine. We had a great time and would definitely book again.Anonymous - Posted: 9/28/2016

Hidden River Lodge is located in a lovely setting of Colorado mountain region. This apartment was lovely and well furnished on the 4th floor. Kitchen was well equipped.
We also enjoyed the hot tub outdoors, but on the last day of our stay the water was warm, not hot. Same happened in the shower, warm water only. I guess all the hot water got used up.Anonymous from Bloomingburg - Posted: 7/13/2016
Stayed here for five nights as a group of three. You could tell the unit has gotten some use, but it served it's purpose for what we were there for. Couple of things to note - the balcony faces the highway, would have preferred to be on the other side of the building but didn't really pay attention to that when booking. However, we put the shared grill area and hot tubs to good use. The bedrooms were a decent size, but our guest didn't enjoy only having a skylight in his bedroom. The dining table was in the master bedroom which was kind of odd. The living room is on the smaller side, wouldn't have wanted to share with more than our group size. This was our first trip to Keystone and the general consensus was that we would definitely stay here again - the price was definitely right and money talks.Anonymous from La Crosse - Posted: 6/30/2016
We drove from Texas and stayed for 4 nights. We also had two boys in tow. The condo was just the right size for us. We also appreciated the convenient location to the slopes and shuttle buses.Anonymous from Round Rock - Posted: 3/19/2016
This property was wonderful. The two bedrooms were very nice and the beds were really comfy. The larger room even had enough room for the pack and play and didn't feel cramped.
The kitchen was very well stocked and we had everything we needed to cook all our meals and morning coffee of course.
The location fit our family nicely as we didn't want to be in the village for the noise factor. We were able to take the path to the bus that took us right to the village so that we could get on the mountain, what a great location.
We would stay here again as our trip was wonderful. Management company gave us great communication and took the stress of not where we are going.Anonymous from Rifle - Posted: 2/25/2016

Everything was great, checking in was a little difficult but that was because of traffic/weather on the way up the mountain.Anonymous - Posted: 2/4/2016
The condo was great and perfectly located! Beds were comfy and the place was sparkly clean. Kitchen had the essentials but not in the best working shape (broken wine opener/really old can opener) but did the job. The living space was difficult to visit with more than 3 people but we were outside most of the time. Parking garage made life a breeze, check-in was a piece of cake and even the app was helpful.Anonymous from San Jose - Posted: 2/3/2016

Place was great except no shampoo and no extra toilet paperAnonymous from aurora - Posted: 1/12/2016
We had a great stay at Hidden River Lodge. The place was clean and the fireplace was a nice touch. Bedrooms are large which is a plus when traveling with a baby. Living room is small so don't plan to entertain a huge group. Kitchen is fantastic for doing your own cooking while staying at the condo. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again. My husband loved the fact he didn't have to walk to the main lift, he could catch one steps from the condo!Anonymous from colorado springs - Posted: 1/12/2016
We have absolutely no complaints about our weekend stay at Hidden River Lodge #5998. The condo is a perfect fit for four people, and has a lovely and open balcony to enjoy the mountain views. The hot tub was easily accessible and provided us with the perfect relaxing spot after a day of skiing. The condo is easily walkable from the Mountain House Base which made hitting the slopes SO doable. We didn't have a single issue getting into or out of the condo, and everything was in working order.
We would absolutely stay here again!Anonymous from Boulder - Posted: 1/6/2016
We stayed at Hidden River back in Dec 2015 through Global Discovery, our time share exchange membership. We dealt with a different management company and had a better experience with Summit County Mountain Retreats. Summit County was more professional, more attentive to any issues within our unit. All employees seemed to have the desire to make our stay as positive as possible. Their main concern seemed to be to ensure the guest had a comfortable stay. We were very satisfied with Summit County.Anonymous from Mundelein - Posted: 12/25/2015

We were contacted immediately by Summit County after our booking was confirmed with detailed driving and lodging instructions. The lodge was spacious and clean with basic cleaning and cooking supplies. We really enjoyed our four days in Keystone! This condo was a great value and only a short walk from the Keystone Village.Anonymous - Posted: 9/11/2015
Check in and checkout we were given clear instruction and they were very easy. The property was clean and perfect for our summer getaway up to the mountains. Great view of the mountains. We used the grills outside and had dinner on the patio. The kitchen had a crockpot and all the servingware we needed. The beds were comfortable. The living area is a little small but there is so much to do in the area, we didn't spend much time inside. I would rent this property again.Anonymous from Highlands Ranch - Posted: 7/20/2015
Great Keystone Condo!Anonymous from Eden - Posted: 7/9/2015
My two friends & I had a great time on our little escape out to Keystone. Being that it was late October, the entire town of Keystone was EMPTY. Total solitude. The condo was great, equipped with just about everything we could need. Our only frustration was that the wifi was really unreliable, and since we are all online entrepreneurs who were trying to get some work done while out there, it proved to be a bit of an aggravation. I'm sure for anyone else visiting who's there for skiing/riding/outdoor activities wifi isn't exactly a priority ;) Great stay overall and the property management company was great at quickly making our reservation since we booked it the day before we wanted to arrive. Thank you!Anonymous from Plainfield - Posted: 10/31/2014
