There was plenty of space for our family in a beautiful mountain area. The beds on the main level were not comfortable. One of the queen beds sagged to the center and was horribly uncomfortable. The kids call it a "Taco Bed"Anonymous from Lincoln - Posted: 8/30/2024
Finding a mattress that satisfies the mass amount of renters we see is just not possible, but we do like to see every guest comfortable during their stay. If someone does not like the mattress we can offer a replacement air-mattress or mattress topper if we are made aware of the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. For the money, you can’t beat this location. It’s about 20 minutes from Breckenridge and about an hour and a half from Denver. To me it had all the amenities available very clean even though it’s outdated it was quiet and comfortable and just what me and my friends needed. Love the outdoor Fire pit to just sit around and relax. The community pool and Jacuzzi were a bonus. It had everything you needed in it washing machine dryer great kitchen set up grilling options and very comfortable beds. Would totally book again.Anonymous from Denham Springs - Posted: 7/10/2024

The house was a little dated but nice. Many of the cooking sheets/pans were dirty and needed cleaned before use. The heat was very hard to control. If main area was comfortable, the bedrooms downstairs were freezing while the bedrooms upstairs were hot. Overall, house was suffice.Anonymous from Wadsworth - Posted: 2/23/2024

We really enjoyed the home. It is well updated, maintained, etc. The only complaint about the home is the drafty windows. One night was quite cold and the heat could not keep up. Regarding the management company, you responded quickly to messages and were helful. I asked a couple of times, including the day of check-in, to find out if we could check in early, as 430 is quite late, but never received a message. When we drove by at 230, we saw the cleaning crew leave. After complaining about the heat, the technician stopped by to check. There was nothing they could do, but got no response or support about it. Once I requested space heaters, they were brought over. I'm not sure why they didn't suggest that when I brought up the issue. Since the home is drafty in the great room, a space heater should be provided. There are not enough dishes or flatware for the size of the home. We ran out of large plates and spoons each night. Also, pizza boxes and other recyclables were left out in the garage when we arrived.Anonymous from NA - Posted: 2/21/2024

We love the house and have stayed here annually for several years. Unfortunately the management company of this place is pretty poor. Very dissatisfied with their customer service/ corporate operations. It's a high end home and the company does not emulate that status unfortunately .Anonymous from Superior - Posted: 2/14/2024
Thank you for your review, unfortunately, this guest's concerns were outside of the control of our management company.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
Check-in, check-out process was smooth and easy. Management was quickly responsive to text messages. Kitchen was well equipped as we cooked for 10 people most mornings and evenings. I didn't personally use the pool or hot tub, but the rest of the guests did, and enjoyed it. 2 minute drive to Keystone Mountain House area, and 5-10 minute drive to River Run Village. Also have shuttle access nearby. Kitchen and bathrooms have been updated, but other areas could use some updating. Only 1 outlet worked in master room, with a power strip and extension cords for the lights in the room, seems like a fire hazard. No light switches worked in that room. As others have mentioned, downstairs was cold at times while upstairs was hot. Had an issue with dishwasher one night, but worked the rest of the time. Garage door opener was missing. Large dining room table and another round table for plenty of seating area for eating or card playing. Really loved the setup of bedrooms/bathrooms. No real complaints, decent place for the price!Anonymous from Papillion - Posted: 2/11/2024

Overalll, a good stay at this spacious home. Pointing out the issues we had but overall we enjoyed our stay. 1. The heating system is antiquated. There are multiple thermostats throughout the home, some still in use and some not. The home instructions were unclear on their locations so we could not find the active thermostat for downstairs for a couple of hours. The home instructions need to be more specific. 2. The garage door opener was missing and they didn’t have a spare. Not a showstopper but an inconvenience. 3. The dishwasher did not work at all, leaving dishes dirty after full cycles.
All in all, however, this is a nice home. Internet worked well. Fireplace is delightful.Anonymous from San Diego - Posted: 12/16/2023

This Wild Irishman home worked out great for our group of 8 guys, ranging in age from 30-76. There was plenty of space to relax & socialize and more beds than we needed. The large deck and two grills were awesome when we grilled steaks in the evening. The pool and hot are a very short walk and nice amenity.
The booking and check in were easy. Our only issues were that the garage door opener did not work and the management team did not get us new batteries, so we had only 1 key, which required a little more organization with who was at the house when. And there was no mirror in the downstairs bathroom, but it looked like it was being remodeled and perhaps just wasn't quite finished.Anonymous from Parker - Posted: 8/7/2023

Stayed here for a wedding with 4 other couples, and the house was wonderful. Plenty of beds, nice kitchen and living space, very spacious and clean. Only note is some of the bathrooms could use updating (no mirrors present).Anonymous from Ellicott City - Posted: 8/7/2023

The place worked out very well for our group of 5. We each had our own bedroom and a nice area to gather together. Screens are needed on many of the windows, it was warm and the upstairs was stuffy. There are no rails on the decks so it wouldn’t be safe for young children.Good location; walking distance to the pool/hot tub and a nice trail nearby.Anonymous from Parker - Posted: 7/31/2023
We are grateful that you took the time out to leave us a review. Your feedback helps us to improve service for everyone.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
The home was big enough for our family of 9 adults and 3 kids. The kitchen was beautifully remodeled and had just about everything we needed. We asked the management company for some hot pads and a lighter for the grill, and they were promptly delivered. Enough beds for everyone, but the single beds lacked comfort. There were screens missing in the upstairs bedroom, so you couldn’t sleep with the windows open, and it got warm in the room. There were fans provided though. The house is in need of some repairs, the door frame on the patio door is loose and makes it hard to open and shut the door. There is no mirror, electrical outlets, or towel bars in the remodeled bathroom on the main level and there is no jacuzzi tub as listed in the description. We had to use a mirror that we found in one of the bedroom closets for getting ready for the day. The garage was our to use, but the garage door opener didn’t work, even after I went to the management company’s office to get a new battery for it. They didn’t respond to me after I texted them that it still didn’t work. Some of the dining room chairs were coming apart. The upstairs water pressure in the showers was bad, as there was minimal water coming out of shower head.
This place could be a gem if the owners would just finish the remodel before renting it out. Disappointing!!

The house is in need of many repairs. Many of the screens were missing from the window so we couldn't open those windows. The screen on the patio door would fall off if it was moved. The upstairs showers door leaked water under the doors leaving water on the floor. The wall heating registers were falling apart in many areas. There is dust on the sealing rafters and the window haven't been cleaned in a long time. The Kitchen was nice but the door to go outside would pull the side moulding away from the wall when opening the door. The garage has so much stuff in it we could only park 1 car in it. The house felt dingy. I felt it to be overpriced for what it is. Lastly I had to remove a bat from one of the downstairs bedrooms. I would not recommend this house in the condition it is in.Anonymous from Denver - Posted: 9/25/2022

We loved the house layout and location. While some parts of the house have been updated, there are other areas that could use updating. We did have a shower that would not drain on our first night in the house, but the property management company came out the next day and fixed the problem.Anonymous from Spicewood - Posted: 7/31/2022

The location in Keystone was great. Close to everything, including boating/fishing in Dillon. Everything about the property was good (bay window seat in Family room severely damaged, allowing cold air in) but otherwise good.Anonymous from Parker - Posted: 7/12/2022
Nothing better than a day on on Lake Dillon! We’re so happy to hear you had a great experience with us. We can’t thank you enough for the kind words about our rental.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
The home was in a beautiful, quiet location in Keystone. The kids could run around the yard with no fear of traffic, etc. The house has a lot of room but could use some updating (more than just cosmetic). A few electrical plugs were loose in the wall and one even fried a USB plug box. The dining table was big but could fall apart at any moment. The kitchen has been updated which was nice. Many screens are missing from the windows upstairs but you must open the windows and run a fan to stay comfortable in the summer. My daughter ended up with two wasps and a large bumblebee on her pillow due to this. The shower downstairs needs the drain cover attached and a new shower head (terrible pressure and sprayed everywhere but on the bather). It's little things like this all over that I think the property management group could handle and make this a wonderful house.Anonymous from DALLAS - Posted: 6/15/2022

The kitchen was my favorite spot. I have stayed at a lot of rentals and this kitchen was stocked well! Everything you would need just like at home! The bathrooms were also stocked amazingly. There were plenty of box fans as well. The property management was also very easy to get ahold of if we had any questions. We would definitely stay here again.Anonymous from Wichita - Posted: 6/8/2022

This place was minutes away from Keystone Ski Resort. The 5 bedroom accommodated our large group of 11 adults for a ski trip. The kitchen is very beautiful and had all the appliances you'll need to cook.
*The driveway: It was super difficult for our 2 Vans to make it up the driveway to the garage parking after heavy snow. The driveway was dirt and not concrete like the other properties around it. We had to hire someone to plow the driveway which cost $60.
*Upstairs bedrooms: The bedrooms were fine but it was extremely hot in both of the rooms. We had to leave the windows open and had fans running all night for the rooms to be bearable to rest the night.
Overall, the place is a very nice and spacious place for a large group to call it home for a couple of days.Anonymous from Carrollton - Posted: 3/11/2022

The house is clean and well appointed. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils, cups, bowls, plates, pots/pans, and coffee maker. The gas stove, fridge, and dishwasher worked well. The only suggestion we have is that the place is a little dimly lit. Other than that - it was a perfect place!Anonymous from Johns Creek - Posted: 2/26/2022

Loved our stay at this home. It’s older and there were many aspects that are dated and rough, but for our group it was great. Lots of living space in case you get snowed in (we spent two full days in the house with 12 people and didn’t go stir crazy). The temperature controls we never quite figured out- was pretty cold in the living areas both mornings.Anonymous from Omaha - Posted: 2/6/2022
Thank you for leaving us a review and for bringing this to out attention. This guest did report the heating issue to us on 1/28 and out maintenance department completed the call within 2 hours and noted that the heat was working as designed. We did experience very cold weather during this guests stay so our staff dropped off a few space hearts as well to help them with comfort. We will have our staff throughly inspect the property for any items that are dated and can be replaced. Thank you again for your review, and we look forward to seeing you soon!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff

We stayed here as a last minute change of plans and it worked out great. The layout of the house allows for plenty of space to spread out. There is a creek side path across the street for running, walking, or exploring. We enjoyed the activities in Keystone, Copper, and Georgetown. The only negatives were the two downstairs bathrooms need to be renovated like the upstairs have been and they need to put drawer pulls on the kitchen cabinets. But it is difficult to find a house for 3 families (12 people) that doesn’t feel cramped and this house worked well for us.Anonymous from Kingwood - Posted: 7/21/2021
Thanks very much for your balanced and fair review of this location. I'm glad you felt the general layout and services were well done. I also want to thank you for your feedback and criticisms. Unfortunately, all units on our program are privately owned so all renovations will need to be approved with them directly. I appreciate your kind words and professional demeanor and look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
Our family of 8 (including 5 adults and children ages 6, 11 and 15) had a very relaxing and comfortable stay at this condo. Plenty of bedrooms, plenty of space, in general. The kitchen was very well supplied. The place was clean and tidy. While we were there, there were some relatively minor issues (the dishwasher stopped working, the shower drain in the master bathroom needed to be unplugged, the start button on the dryer gave off an electric shock). Maintenance person took care of the problems promptly and was very friendly. We skied at Keystone and Copper. Had a wonderful vacation!Anonymous from Amherst - Posted: 3/28/2021
Its a old house which is fine but several things dont work. The Stove doesnt close all the way, therefore it will not stay on, we had to use a bar stool to force and hold the stove door close. The wall outlets in several places across the house didnt work (especially the master bathroon). The grill on the deck was broken. The thermostat is so old you cant tell if it works or not, we had to use space heaters all over the house.Anonymous - Posted: 2/5/2021
It was spacious and cleanAnonymous from Englewood - Posted: 10/2/2020
House is located in a very nice subdivision, walking distance from indoor spa and outdoor heated pool. Spacious kitchen, open to dinning and living areas, and plenty of room for 12. Kids were able to play around the house in the snow, and we used grill on a daily basis to cookout.Anonymous from Dallas - Posted: 3/30/2020
We had short family ski trip. The space was big and comfortable. A large common area was a great place to come together. The large kitchen table worked out well to get the group fed. Overall a great space for a large group.Anonymous - Posted: 2/4/2020
Very cool home in a great location. It had everything we needed, but we're giving it 4 stores because the home was pretty cold despite increasing the temp on the thermostat.Anonymous from Denver - Posted: 1/21/2020
Roomy house, close to shuttle stop. The house is drafty and hard to keep warm when it is 14 degrees outside. The 2 fireplaces were nice to have and we used them a lot. The management brought space heaters.Anonymous from Farmville - Posted: 1/7/2020

The house was big enough for 2 families to stay comfortably. As others have said, the house is dated. Wasn't as clean as others had experienced. We did have to call maintenance when we firs arrived to fix blinds that were half hanging from a bedroom window and it was promptly fixed. The community pool was roped off our entire stay and the kids were bummed about that.Anonymous from Kansas City - Posted: 8/27/2019
The house was perfect for our group of 11 people. The rooms were spacious with plenty of sleeping options and more than enough bathrooms. The location was perfect for quick access to Keystone, Breckenridge, Dillon/Frisco/Silverthorne. The fireplaces inside were nice as well as the fire pit in the backyard.Anonymous from Ypsilanti - Posted: 7/24/2019
Property was as described, with great directions on how to get there. It was clean and well maintained. The only negative thing was it seemed there were some pots and pans missing. We saw lids but no pans, so we were limited one night in cooking a big meal. We made do, so no big deal. We've rented thru Summit County Mountain Retreats before and they ALWAYS provide great customer service. We always try to use them when staying in Keystone. I highly recommend staying in their properties. We will definitely try to use this rental in the future. Thanks.Anonymous from West Chester - Posted: 5/1/2019
The home was very conveniently located near many activities. However the heat downstairs in the dining and living areas needs some attention. We had to keep a fire in the fireplace going in order for that area to stay warm. Updates to the bottom floor baths need to be done and for a house that accommodates this many people, there are not enough large pots and pans to cook for a crowd. We had a great stay and the home is beautiful and well arranged.Anonymous from Three Rivers - Posted: 3/1/2019
Each year I take my sales team on a winter offsite to forecast the coming year and enjoy some team building. 238 WI was a great house for us (plenty of space, easy on bus, quick walk to hot tub, awesome fireplace). This is an older rental but they did a really good job making sure everything was spotless before we arrived. They are working on remodeling as there was a bathroom that was updated and there were upgrades ready to be installed in the garage.
For the price, location, and room available, we were very pleased! The area is beautiful and very close to restaurants and shopping if you want to get out at night.Anonymous from Fayetteville - Posted: 8/9/2018

This was my first experience with a VRBO. The overall experience was smoothe. My group consisted of 5 men. The home boasted of 8 beds. The twin beds as well as the king beds were all comfortable according to my friends. There was ample clean Linen and towels supplied. Overall the home was clean. We saw some stained walls in one of the bedrooms. There was also a home in one of the outside decks. The home has some age but it is, for the most part, well maintained. There is a swimming pool available for use but we did not take advantage. There are hiking trails in walking distance. Overall, our stay was pleasant. We did have to call the property managers for a very small problem but we eventually did not need their assistance. However we appreciated their quick response.Anonymous from Centennial - Posted: 7/22/2018

Nice and roomy with a great set-up for our large extended family. The kitchen was well stocked, and there's plenty of seating for everyone. The beds and bedding were quite comfortable, aside from the bed in the main floor room off the entryway. Overall we were super comfortable in the house.Anonymous from Thornton - Posted: 3/29/2018
Very nice house and plenty of room. We had plenty of room for our group of 11 to sit around the living room into the dining room area. Most of the bedrooms had plenty of room in them to move around and get ready for our daily activities. The online check-in and check-out process made everything very easy for us.Anonymous from Gothenburg - Posted: 3/6/2018
We had a great experience at this property. Plenty of room for 10 adult men, cozy & comfortable. The driveway was tricky when icy/snowy if you don't have a 4WD vehicle. Other than that, a nice place.Anonymous from Plano - Posted: 2/14/2018
This is a beautiful home in a quiet area, right on the mountain. The location is unbeatable. The home is obviously going through a facelift. There is new decking, new appliances, new beds, new water heaters, and we were told that more upgrades are planned for the fall. We had a positive experience here and enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and had enough beds for 11 people comfortably. Unfortunately, we were 12 so one person had to sleep on the sofa in the living room. There were humidifiers for our use, however they didn't work or worked poorly. So we purchased some our selves and left them for future visitors. Good location in that it's very near a shuttle stop and only a couple miles from River Run. There's a clubhouse with pool and Jacuzzi which kids enjoyedAnonymous from Miami - Posted: 4/5/2017
Overall experience was good with minor issues or details that could have been better. Pros included lots of space with bedrooms and bathrooms, large yard, close to resort and towns, and games for kids. Cons included replacing multiple light bulbs ourselves, working on the grill to be able to use it, leaking sink with downstairs bedroom floor being damp, no garage door opener or crockpot.Anonymous from Wellington - Posted: 3/28/2017
The home had sufficient space for a large family get together. The location of the property was convenient to the slopes or trips to Dillon. Large kitchen and dining area allowed for family meals. Space allowed everyone to stay together while large enough to allow privacy. The property is older. There are maintenance issues that need to be taken care of or the property would have rated 5 stars.Anonymous from De Soto - Posted: 2/27/2017
This home is older, but with tons of character. The new appliances and good quality beds were a big plus. Management company was very responsive to any requests we made.Anonymous from Fort Myers - Posted: 2/23/2017
We were very pleased with our rental. The house was very large and clean and was able to accommodate two families including six kids under six. The location was so close to the lifts at Keystone and the shuttle for the locals was able to bring us to the mountain with no problem quickly. If there was any issue with the property it was that it could be updated a little bit....also various rooms were either very warm or very cold(either energy inefficient windows or the need for a new furnace). All in all it was a very positive experience.Anonymous from Denver - Posted: 2/19/2017
