The location was wonderful! The heater was broken and it was horribly hot. My children were up most night which impacted Our entire stay. The reality company was very responsive. They said someone came and fixed it and though it did feel better the second night ther thermastat was set to 41 and it was still warm.
The master bed is pretty old. It is warm and pretty uncomfortable. I personally would not lay $700 for two nights to stay there again.

the location was great- though you can find less expnesive lodging- to be able to park your car in a dedicated spot, walk to the gondola and back within a few minutes can spoil you. Hottub and pool were an enjoyable way to end the day. Small issues- being that most people pay over a $750 (or more) for the stay- charging $15 as a early check in fee because you arrive at 3:30- not 4PM ( and the unit is ready) , $10 for a replacement key card ( hotels give you for free), are the nickel/dime stuff that you wonder why. In additon our shower did not work for 2/3 nights we were there. It took maintenance less than 30 minutes to fix but why did we have to wait a extra day for a washer to be replaced

Very nice - it was the accommodations that I was looking for in a trip with my 10 year old daughter. I wish I had more clarity into the unit I was going to rent in the front end / I thought we’d have Mountain View’s (we didn’t). Elevator was incredibly slow and jammed up - but the parking was easy, the ski lockers are convenient, the skiing and village access is good, and the village amenities are nice.

This is our 7th year staying in River Run village, but our 1st time staying at Dakota lodge, and it did not disappoint. Plenty of room for the 4 of us and bonus to gave a large bed for each kid. The outdoor pool and hot tubs were amazing and a quick walk to gondola and shopping. Great communication from SCMR, and they quickly addressed anything we needed. My only wish was space to put our luggage once we unpacked, both closets were pretty full. Overall we had an excellent trip!

This was a good experience. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed including a box fan and humidifiers for the whole unit. The only thing that wasn’t clear was that we were only given one was gray and towel per person in the unit and expected to wash them each day. Also the ski locker was a little small. Overall the staff were friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend it again.

This is a great place to stay for quick access to the lifts and everything Keystone has to offer. Unfortunately, my review is not 5 stars due to the conditions of the condo my party arrived to. Apon arrival we noticed the condo was really cold and attempted to turn on the heat which ended up not working. We also noticed that there was no hot water available in order to shower after a day of traveling. I contact the property manager the following morning to make them aware of the issues. The hot water was fixed that afternoon but I'm not sure if the heat was. We were told the heat was fixed as well but our condo stayed the same cold temp until our departure. Not a great first impression but I will consider staying here again.

Our family of 6 had a great time at the Dakota lodge! Kid favorites: riding bikes in the village, swimming in the pool and then hopping in the hot tub only to jump back in the pool and repeat over and over again :). Adult favorites: soaking in the hot tub, hiking the trails, coffee in the village every morning, and enjoying our master suite balcony :).

Everything was great except for the temperature of the condo. We could not figure out how to get it to cool down without opening the patio door. The thermastat was set somewhere around 55 degrees but it felt like 75 or warmer, especially at night. Maybe we just didn't know what we were doing.

We had a great time at the apartment. It is just in front if the elevator which we took as a nice surprise. Walking with the boots and all loaded with equipment!
The apartment is larger than the standard one so great since with our 3 years old we stayed home after a day of skiing. He had plenty of room to play and move around.
Everything in the apartment worked well. Hot water. Kitchen equipment. All.
The only comment we have is that the mattresses are soft ones, and we are used to hard mattress. So that caused us all some trouble sleeping. Not that they are bad, just not the ones we are used to.
Overall we had a great time. Location is also perfect. Just around 400 ft to the River Run gondola.

My wife and I absolutely loved this condo - immaculate, roomy, very comfortable beds, and beautifully decorated - we had a hard time leaving it every day to hike and explore! Wonderful views right out any window and so convenient being steps away from River Run Village. Also enjoyed gas fireplace in the evenings and having a porch off the master bedroom AND off the main living area. Well stocked kitchen and laundry on 2nd and 4th floor and parking garage VERY convenient. Nice pool and hot tub located thru back door of main lobby. Would love to stay here again on our next trip to Colorado!

The condo was perfect for our family (2 kids). We had everything we needed in the kitchen, towels, fans, blankets, etc. Location was great for the kids in terms of the ice skating rink, restaurants and picking up our ski equipment. The owners even texted twice while we were there to see if we needed anything. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights in August. The location is terrific, being just steps from the village center and gondola, and the space was quite comfortable. Overall the condo was quite nice, with the exception of the carpet, which was stained throughout and needs to be replaced.

Dakota Lodge is centrally located so easy walking to many places as well as trails for exercise (even saw a moose). The unit we stayed was very comfy for the four of us. Ate all of our meals in the condo and had all the pans and dishes to do so, it was great

It was very nice stay and I really enjoyed it well taken care of and very clean. Overall it was great. Biggest issue I had was the condo building itself was very very hot for the time of the year. I just think the building maintenance just had not got to the building to lower the heat so made it very hot. But opening the windows and doors in our room helped cooled it down. So overall it was very good.

Everything is great, couple things needs to be improved.
1)Internet was slow. 2) bed sheets, pillow cases made from 100% polyester, I have have static shocks from every move during the night. Guys you make good money , please change it to 100% cotton. Other building I stayed 3 month before had fast internet, but bed set was made from polyester as well.

We had a great time on our vacation. The only negative is that the condo did not have a grill. We were able to use a grill that is shared amongst condos but it was inconvenient.

The best part of this property is the location! A short walk to the gondola and village for apres' fun. Although River Run Village is no Vail or Breckenridge when it comes to shopping and dining options, we sort of knew that going in, so weren't too disappointed. Property was clean and comfortable. Set up is great for 2 couples. Directions for everything were clear and easy to follow. Check in was hassle-free. Use the shortcut through the pool to access the Village!

The check-in key package was not available at the lockbox at 4pm as promised. Had to locate the property management office and pick it up there. The elevator was out of service(3rd floor condo!) for the first day of the stay- very inconvenient with bags, etc. The assigned ski locker was locked and had to locate a building manager to come down and unlock it(45 min.) Other than that, the condo itself was clean and nicely furnished!

We are very sorry this guest had issues. The elevator was indeed being repaired. Resort staff was stationed in the lobby to help guests with their luggage.
Went to the property for a weekend getaway during "mud season" when there isn't much to do around and places are closed. The condo provided, because we had adequate room and a great kitchen to cook our meals in relative seclusion.

This place was amazing! Looks exactly like it is pictured and close to everything. Even the staff was wonderful. Steve in maintenance came out and helped us with the heater and even checked on us the next day. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful time with our two children and a friend of their's. We actually took advantage of taking my daughter's senior pictures and they turned out amazing with the beauty of Keystone. Our kids loved swimming in the pool and hot tub which has a beautiful view of the mountains and playing mini golf. Very easy check in and check out. We'd definitely book it again.

We absolutely LOVED staying at the Dakota Lodge! The location was perfect, the amenities were outstanding, and the condo itself was incredibly comfortable!
The management team was very responsive to several calls about rouge fire/carbon monoxide alarms (ended up being a battery issue) so we were pleased with that. All in all, our stay was very comfortable. My only advice...
if you plan on doing laundry, bring your own quarters! ; )

Wish I had paid more attention to the fact that this condo was overlooking the putt putt area/parking lot. No AC so there was quite a bit of noise with our windows open. In the winter it should be perfect!

We stayed for a long weekend for a wedding and had a wonderful time. The condo was perfect for two couples seeing as the rooms are on the opposite side of the condo which was great for privacy. Beautiful mountain view and view of the mini golf area (the kids really love that!) The kitchen was STOCKED! Had everything we needed, even salad bowls and a blender. I'd love to return again some time in the winter months. That fireplace was calling my name but it was too warm out.

Dakota Lodge 8497 was just what it was described as. There were three of us guys and there was lots of space and it was very comfortable. It was convenient to A. Basin skiing, which is why we visited.

A group of 5 young professionals really enjoyed this rental for a spring ski trip. Every day, we dropped our skis off at Keystone Sports Rental, and then walked about 4 minutes back to Dakota lodge. We cooked in mostly, but it was also 30 seconds walking from the bus route, which helped us get to dinner outings or the grocery store. The condo had plenty of space, it was clean, and we really enjoyed the fire place. We had access to the Mountain Retreats App, which we used for getting answers to questions, or sending any requests -- we loved the app. Altogether a PERFECT spot for a Keystone ski trip!!

I would stay here again. This was a wonderful condo that is close to the mountain, with the right amenities, and the price was right.
This was an extended family vacation, with my parents and wife and child. And I must say that this was just what we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, and both rooms were large enough for us.
We did leave a note for maintenance when we left for two issues, but not anything pressing that had to be fixed while we were there.
One note, the garage is a tight fit for larger vehicles. We had a Ford Transit and while it fit fine, we had to park under a different building, due to the small cars taking the only spaces we could have maneuvered into. We called the building, and told them we would park in a difference section, and there was no other option. They were fine with that, just something to keep in mind.
We plan on using this property again for future visits to Keystone.

Keystone surprised us! My family are all native coloradians and loved our stay here. Not the big attitude of vail or aspen. Every business we went to,. The people were helpful, polite and enjoyable. Our rental was wonderful and we would recommend it.

Our stay in the last week of July 2015 was wonderful! The condo met our expectations completely. It is well-maintained (spots on the carpet are what kept me from giving it top ratings), but aside from that, the rooms are fantastic. The only other thing that wasn't perfect was the sleeper sofa - it wasn't super comfy. It wasn't awful but it wasn't level and the mattress left a little to be desired. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, flatware, pots & pans. They even supplied a crockpot, blender and a nice coffee maker. The TV could use a longer cable line so it's easier to shift for viewing from the couch and chairs, but it is set up nicely if someone is at the table. I imagine this is typical of condos, but there is virtually no overhead lighting in the bedrooms. The lighting is better in the separate bathroom, but the vanity space is better in the master bath - so for make-up or contacts application, a choice must be made for lighting or space. The grounds are wonderful, but honestly, there is not as much to do at Keystone as there is at Copper or Breckenridge unless you love to mountain bike - in that case, Keystone mountain is amazing. The shops are very handy and not terribly overpriced, as I expected since they have the monopoly at the base of the mountain. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this property to family and friends.

great mountain getaway w kids. Keystone is small enough, they can feel some independence, yet big enough to have great skiing. Lodge is super conveniently located. Bed in Master was similar to sleeping on concrete, but beyond that, great stay!

Nice 2bd in Dakota. It's one of the larger 2bd, and having stayed in a smaller one the extra sq footage is really nice to have. Also thanks to SCMR, the pool at Dakota was closed and they were very quick to get us access to the one next door.
I would note this condo does need more wine glasses and a new skillet.
