This place was perfect for two people. We loved the location and the place was clean when we arrived. I saw other reviews say it wasn’t clean, but it was definitely clean. I highly recommend this place if you want to be close to the slopes and restaurants.

Summary: I would definitely stay here again. Location is great. A bit dirty and worn.
Pros: Very close to the gondola. Plenty of restaurant choices within a 2 minute walk. Very convenient access to the 3 onsite hot tubs, all by taking the stairs to avoid the slow elevator. Underground garage parking is nice to avoid clearing off winter snow. Property slept our 5 people all in beds. Kitchen had everything we needed.
Cons: Overall property kind of dirty (e.g., cake of dust on top of hair dryer, tons of crumbs and food leftovers in the round kitchen table and around the perimeter of the floor). Couches very worn. Murphy bed has no hinge or springs; it's freestanding and heavy so you better have a strong guy or two people to safely unlatch it from the wall and lower it. TV in the bedroom is hilariously small and we couldn't figure out how to work it.
Next time I come to Keystone, I'll look around to see what else is out there that's small, affordable, yet sleeps 5. But truly I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The "cons" are all minor in the big picture and the convenient location and awesome hot tub access is not to be understated.

The perfect place to stay the night (or more) when you're looking to ski Keystone. The unit itself is lovely with a good kitchen setup, living room with a fireplace, and games! The beds are perfect for up to 5 people. The building has lots of amenities, which unfortunately we didn't have time to take advantage of.

I booked on Expedia and then had to contact Summit County Mountain Retreats 3 times, by email, then by phone twice to complete a contract before they would tell me the process of accessing the condo. And our key didn't work the next morning at the pool. The first contract that was sent went to my junk since it was sent from a PDF email without a name, then the one I filled out after contacting them by phone wouldn't submit, and I filled out every line, then I had to talk to a person, and since the contract submission still didn't work, then they had to send me THIRD email for the contract. You don't get to check in until 4:30 an have to leave by 10 AM. Extreme hassle to stay in a condo booked through expedia. The property itself was wonderful though.

Has potential. Location and view were just what I was looking for. Hard surface flooring in all areas except bedroom was nice. Positives kind of stop there. Bedding was gross, sheets were rough, blanket was like old, heavy duty felt. Finally found a quilt on Murphy bed I could use. Carpet was gross. Thankfully I brought flip flops to walk around in. Rugs were gross. Rolled up kitchen and patio rug as soon as I walked around the place. There was duct tape as transition between hard surface flooring and bedroom carpet. Bedside table was broken/had missing front piece. Closet was stuffed full of things I wouldn’t use - additional bedding, 3 fans- broken tower fan, cleaning supplies. I stuffed everything I could on top shelf to have room to hang clothes. The patio chair/table/floor in front of sliding door/bedroom window were dirty-with roof debris. Understand rain could have caused some but wasn’t raining the evening I arrived & would have loved to start out with things clean & able to sit on patio. Once I cleaned areas, it never got as dirty again even though it rained next couple days. Thought it was very kind of them to reach out morning after arrival to see how things were & ask if I needed anything & if anything needed addressed. I responded with some of the issues listed above and to see if they had another condo available; XO no one ever responded. With just a small bit of $$ and some TLC, this place could be really nice & worth the price charged. Don’t like being negative but wish I had known these things as I would not have stayed there.

I do see that we went to this unit during this guests stay and cleaned their patio for them as well as removed these broken items as well as responded to this guests with in 10 minutes of them texting us. Owners do leave items that are theirs in closets as well as we leave extra fans and blankets for guests to use, but we can always accommodate by moving these items for guests.
Went to Keystone for the Bacon & Bourbon Festival. This condo overlooked one of the music stages and was perfect for the festival. Evenings in the hot tubs were wonderful as well.

Condo was perfect! It was inviting and set a vibe for a winter getaway in the mountains! Shuttles into the center and around mountain were easily accessible. Covered parking was ideal and additional parking was $25 for overnight in lot directly in front of building.

We were very pleased with the vacation rental, and the surrounding area. We had a lovely time. The only negative item was that it was very difficult to find assistance when needed, even from the owner. I tried calling the numbers and the emails they left, but nobody could help me with a simple question. I was not able to get into the workout room with the items left me. It was important for me to have this accessible and unfortunately, I was not able to use it. Sadly, no one seemed interested in helping me either?

We love staying in Keystone, specifically in the Silver Mill building because of the great location. We have previously stayed in a unit managed by Summit Cove, and we loved the process and the property. While the process was just as seamless with Summit County Mountain Retreats, we were not pleased with this unit. It was run down and dirty. The cabinet doors in the kitchen were falling off and literally hanging to one side.The threshold in the bedroom doorway was literally duck taped down and in the bathroom doorway there was a filthy goopy substance on it. The couch was filthy with an oily black look and it had an odor. There were big gashes in the drywall that need to be filled and painted. Also the TV in the bedroom was smaller than a computer monitor, it was maybe 18 inches or so. I took pictures of everything. I would never stay in this unit again and to be honest I would be very hesitant to stay in another Summit County Mountain Retreat property.

On the day of your arrival, our inspection team did not report hanging cabinets in the kitchen or any odors in the unit. The owner of the property is responsible for replacing furniture at their discretion, but we can pass your feedback along to them about the couch and TV size. Many of the small maintenance items you mentioned (drywall marks and thresholds) are projects that we work on after Labor Day weekend because they take time to complete and often require us to order parts or materials. Thank you for your feedback and we would love it if you would come back to stay with us again – we have no doubt that the next time you would have the wonderful experience that the vast majority of our guests have.

We were so excited to stay here and ski for 4 days without driving anywhere. The unit was perfect in every way except the beds were just awful. We tried all 3 beds and the mattresses in all of them were so worn out we ended up sleeping on the couch pillows on the floor. Skiing is hard enough and a good nights' sleep is imperative. We were so disappointed.

The day bed was unusable the floor was more comfortable. The bed was hard and the tv in the bedroom was ridiculously small. Both the humidifiers were broke we bought our own.

Easy check in process and the apartment was sparkling clean. Super comfy bed. Could not use the hot tub as you hey are not set up for privacy and their were too many people in the small area where they are located. Never did find the pool. Rest for a couple but tight with more than two adults. Super convenient to Lake Dillon, Breck, etc.

The location of this rental was perfect! We were able to travel to different towns within 20 minutes for our outings. The rental was clean and relaxing. This room was fantastic. The room was clean and was in good supply of all the cooking utensils you could ever need. The fireplace kept the whole place warm in the cool fall weather. I would not suggest more than 3 people here to keep the quarters from getting cramped but it was perfect for the two of us. Beautiful Mountain View off the balcony.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was comfortable and cozy and had everything we needed. Our main complaint was the quality of the cookware. many of the pots and pans were warped and the bake pans were scratched which made cooking a little harder. If these were updated the stay would have been better.

The unit was clean, well decorated, and cozy. Nice common areas/ hot tubs to use. Our cable box was missing from the room which was kind of strange but not a big deal. Biggest perk is definitely proximity to the gondola, it's literally minutes from your room so if you want a place to stay for convenience skiing keystone or even other summit county resorts, it's a great location!

The rental was clean, well maintained, and perfect for our short stay. The bed was a little hard until we realized it was a memory foam mattress and then getting comfortable wasn't hard. My son had no complaints sleeping on the sofa bed. The location was good too. Overall, a nice place to stay.

The rental was exactly as described, clean, comfortable and in the perfect location right in all the action. Check in/check out could not have been easier. The pull out couch and Murphy bed was a nice addition to maximize the space. It was a little tight for 5 adults but it fit our budget for a weekend getaway. The underground parking was wonderful and included luggage carts and wagons to help transport your things to the room. We used the hot tubs twice which were wonderful after a day of skiing. We cooked every meal in the condo however a few additional baking dishes/sheets would have been nice. The Condo is in the heart of the river run village, steps from Starbucks, bars, restaurants, ski rental, and shops. A three minute walk will get you to the ski lift! Thank you for a great weekend!

This was a great condo, exactly as described. Perfect for our 2 day, 2 night ski blast vacation with our young children. Keystone is perfect for families and this location allowed us to come back mid-day to eat lunch and rest a bit before we headed back out on the slopes. Our only complaint would be that the main bed mattress is extremely uncomfortable....did not sleep well at all.

The condo was cozy and so accommodating. The only issue, if you close the bedroom door to sleep, that room becomes like a hot box. We had to open the window to let -11 air in in order to sleep. The proximity to everything was amazing and it was so clean

Most of everything was perfect! The condo was beautiful and close to all the shops. Only problems were that the fire alarm woke the entire building up at 7:30 on our first jet lagged morning. Then the next day, the condo turned all water off for 2 hours just as we were getting off the slopes

A beautiful condo so close to the lift. Easy to come back for lunch or to rest. Very clean and beautifully decorated.
Only disadvantage is having to go pickup key a mile away from shuttle drop off at Dercum square. Wish there was a pickup Dropbox on site or key code lock.

Staying at the end of Ocober gave us fewer people to deal with but shops nearby in resort were closed.
Everything was clean and working.

We had a wonderful stay at this little condo. Everything was very clean and it was obvious that a lot of work went in to making the place look beautiful. As we arrived at the building, I was a little wary but the condo itself proved to be much nicer than the building it was in, so don't let that scare you away! The fireplace was nice. The bathroom was beautiful and clean. The bed was quite comfortable. It was perfect for our trip!

Everything about my stay here was perfect and amazing! I will definitely be back. The location was great - within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, ski area, and hiking! The condo was spotless and the hot tubs, swimming pool, and sauna were easily accessible and also well maintained. No complaints about sitting in a hot tub looking at the mountains. The service staff at the resort was wonderful and communication about my stay (from emails to phone calls) was fantastic and made things super easy for me! I would recommend this place to anyone and can't wait to come back :)
