We rented Irishman #1093 and had a nice stay, however, the day we were checking out my three year old daughter fell through the spiral staircase that leads to the children’s beds and hurt herself. It could have been life threatening if she hit the fire place border which she barely missed. I have sent emails to the property management team and attached photos of both the staircase where she fell through and the injury done to my daughter. I have not yet heard back and it’s been over three weeks now. I recommend additional metal bars be put in place so this does not happen again to future renters. I recommend this be corrected immediately before any other renters occupy the residence.

Thank you for your review. We have not heard from this guest in any of our communication channels after checking our call logs, emails, and text messages about this incident, however our staircases are complaint with building codes for Summit County as well as the State of Colorado.
This unit is in a great location in Keystone for a skiing vacation. Very close to the shuttle pickup for the Wild Irishman and unit is also very close to the outdoor pool. Ski lockers were next to the unit.
The unit fit our family of 5 (2 parents, 2 kids, 1 grandparent) very well. The unit is quite dated and does need some improvements, especially in the kitchen. The sink leaked and there was an odd assortment of kitchen utensils (too many steak knives, no glasses only coffee cups). Overall the unit was more dated than the pictures showed.

The appartment is spcious and was very clean. The ocation on the 1st floor is very practical, and it is close to the parking lot. To have the lockers so close to it is a huge plus. We managed to do some laundry in a nearby building (they have PayRange for the washing machine and dryer, so no need for quarters!) To improve the experience, the blinders in the living rooom need to be fixed, and a few glasses need to be added.

This is a great little condo near the Keystone Mountain House base camp. This unit is right next to the pool, hot tub, sauna. There is also a shuttle bus stop right outside the door to take you to the mountain.
The unit is clean and has a great set up for large families or groups with two ski lockers outside the door.

Overall a great spot, steps from the shuttle and hot tub, easy drive to the grocery store, it's a slight pain to get to the bus into Dillon/Silverthorne/Frisco/Breck/etc. It's a cute spot but a little run down, so check your expectations. My only real complaint: the lights in the kitchen flickered badly, we called the company within an hour of arriving and it wasn't fixed all week. We took the offending bulbs out of the fixture and stashed them in the closet.

Good location, responsive management company, but unit could use some work. When we arrived, we found an armchair with a broken leg, and a kitchen light fixture with burned out bulbs. Put in a request to fix these items, and the management company came the next day to take care of it. The chair fix was fine. They replaced the bulb in the kitchen fixture, but the fixture flashed all week long, making it almost unbearable to use the overhead light.
The large area rug in the center of the unit had a crease we couldn't straighten out that everyone tripped over. The grout in the floor tile of both bathrooms was coming out, so you'd get little pieces of grout stuck to your feet. The bathroom floor thresholds were screwed down with screws not sunk into the wood so you could catch your toe on them. The range hood was missing its cover, so the fan blade was exposed and spun accumulated cooking grease when used onto the cooktop. The ski lockers in the hallway were nice for storing our skis.
Overall it was ok, but showed more wear than was visible in the photos.

Good for 6 ppl, not 8. Pros: property mgmt, ski locker, steps to shuttle bus, parking for 2 cars Cons: Room for one in kitchen. Cluttered, showing its age, very tight around the dining table, small trash can for kitchen.

Cute condo with all the comforts of home! Location was very good, and this unit is right across from the hot tub, pool, grill and clubhouse. We loved that it was on the ground floor. I had one complaint from a family member that a bunk bed was not comfortable,but everything else was first-rate. Highly recommend!!

The unit was very centrally located for Keystone and travel to both Keystonr. (5 minutes) and Breckinridge (25 minutes) was awesome!
The unit was older and beat up more than the pictures let on. Beds were comfortable and had new comforters and blankets.
The downside — black mold was on the shower ceiling when we arrived and thankfully we brought Lysol wipes and could clean right away .. Management was responsive and offered to send someone out but honestly after being unpacked we just handled it - but shouldn’t have had to at all. Some other cleanliness items ... vacuuming seemed partial as there were board game pieces on the floor and there were coffee mugs with lipstick still on them.
We ended up purchasing some pans and some extra towels because the unit pans weren’t cooking great and we didn’t realize when booking that laundry is not in unit and didnt want to schlep around the complex to wash towels (8 provided for 5 days and 5 people) — we left all of these behind hopeful to pay it forward to future renters.
Lastly the hot tub was not hot and was grimy when we went to it ... we laughed at thrw absurdity and went back to build a fire instead.
Overall a fun trip but would not rent this unit again until updated. Again Management was responsive and nice when needed.

We have brought this to the attention of the department head for improvement. In addition, we will continue training and developing our associates to ensure that they are always able to deliver the satisfactions of our guests. We are regretful that this guest felt the need to clean any missed items by housekeeping, we would have gladly taken care of this but understand that after a long day of traveling guests may not want staff in the unit while trying to relax. Our aim is to provide a clean, comfortable and pleasant place to stay, and we sincerely apologize that our hospitality and attention to details left something to be desired on this occasion – this is very unlike us. It is standard for SCMR to provide the initial supply of towels for guest stays. Should more towels be needed we offer a complimentary towels refresh after the third night with a 24 hour request. If additional or new towels are needed sooner this can be done with a 24 hour request and a small fee. This information can be found in the digital guidebook that is provided before arrival. Thank you for getting that pan replaced. Had we been made aware of this we would have been able to deliver a new pan for you. Unfortunately, we were not made aware of these discrepancies so we did not have the opportunity to help. We appreciate you letting us know about the dirty hot tub. We will get this reported to the building managers to get cleaned as soon as possible. We wish we would have been able to help more with your stay but hope that you will return!
Overall, our stay was great. The condo was spacious, as described, and had a great location.
Our main issue was that the dishes were not cleaned, and many still had food residue on them. We ended up spending a good amount of time washing most all the dishes before using them.
Check-in had a few more steps than what I am used to. We had to get our keys from a separate office a few minutes drive away (luckily it was in the same shopping center we got our ski rentals from). It ended up being convenient for us, but I can see it being a potentially complicated extra step instead of having a lockbox or similar thing on the property.

When things are not right we want to get them addressed right away. Had we been made aware of the dirty dishes we would have loved to send a staff member to get those addressed. We have brought this to the attention of the department head for improvement. In addition, we will continue training and developing our associates to ensure that they are always able to deliver the satisfactions of our guests. Our office is located about a 2-3 minute drive away from the rental. In most circumstances this is convenient for guests, please keep in mind we do provide this information in advance in order to give our guests enough time to review and prepare for this step.
The condo was a great location and a great price and was able to sleep our large group comfortably. We had 8 people and did not have any issues and could have easily slept 2 more. The shuttle bus for keystone picks up almost right outside the door and the condo had full amenities to cook all of our meals. Hot tub and pool were hot and amazing
