Nice Place
Place was nice but the screen was falling out. I attempted to fix it a couple times but didn’t have the right screen tool. Dead bugs were found in a few places even still smashed on the wall. Shower grout was really dirty. Other than that it was a good place and pretty cozy.

Lodgepole 2008
The accommodation was clean, conveniently located, priced well and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the sleeper sofa did not have the correct sheet. The sheet provided didn't fit. My son had to sleep on the bare mattress.
It was also very hot. The thermostat was set on a lower temp but the heat didn't adjust. We had to open several windows. Thankfully, there was a fan found in the closet which we used.
Anonymous from Colorado Springs - Posted: 5/6/2024
Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that the bedding was the incorrect size and would have loved the opportunity to deliver the correct one. We operate 24/7 so guests can always reach out with anything they may need. The heat does unfortunately take some time to adjust, so we're happy to hear that the fan helped!

Ski lodging in Keystone
We found this ski vacation lodging to be a good value and good location, right on shuttle stop which we used and found convenient. Could upgrade mattress and pillows, and its a wood burning fireplace, but you must supply firewood, a real inconvenience

Great location and great size condo
It was easy to set up the communication was great. I
The condo was nice and clean. There were plenty of beds for everyone in my 6 person family. There was plenty of kitchen pots, pans, and utensils to make a great dinner. The biggest downfall was the beds were as hard as a rock, so my husband's I did not sleep very well. If they changed the beds it would be a perfect place to stay. So for that reason I would not recommend it to my friends.

Great stay right down the road from Keystone.
This was an amazing place! The kitchen was fully stocked. The Pool/Spa are steps away (as well as laundry). The bus to Keystone is right outside the parking. Note: if it’s early season you need to call them to pick you up, but it only takes 10 minutes for them to arrive. There is also an amazing walk just down the path where there is a stream and
picturesque views. Great location!

Summer Hiking Weekend
We enjoyed our stay at the condo in the Keystone area. The location was peaceful, clean, spacious, and close to many area hiking paths. Summit County Mountain Retreats responded immediately to my request to fix one of the sliding doors to the patio that would not open. I would highly recommend this condo that would easily accomodate groups of 4 or 6 people, though I was there with just my niece.

Overall, our stay was great! We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We felt like our condo was cozy and quiet. Our only complaint was that there was a large stain on the living room carpet that looked as though it could have been removed. We would stay again!

Mixed experiences
The good:
Unit is very spacious – the extra room is really nice to be able to spread out. Compared to our friends that stayed over at River Run, this place is huge.

Wood fireplace is great. There was only one log when we checked in, but we contacted Summit County Mountain Retreats who in turn contacted the HOA and they delivered two big bags of wood the next day along with matches.

Blazing fast internet - ~250 Mbps allows everyone’s devices to connect

The bad:
Check in process was a disaster; about 40 people waiting in lobby for the 4:00 check-in time. At 4:00 Summit County Mountain Retreats management brought down envelopes for the lock box but rooms for about half the people waiting were not available as they were still being cleaned. With a car full of groceries and kids about to melt down after driving 14 hours, the last thing you want to do is wait around for another hour until the cleaning crew is done with your unit... When I called the office to follow up, they did credit me $50 for the inconvenience but I would rather have had my room ready. From other reviews, sounds as though this may have been unique to us as we were checking in on day after Xmas.

Pool and hot tub are not open due to COVID-19 and by the sounds of it, you should not plan on them being open anytime soon. We booked this place specifically to have a pool and hot tub available for the kids, so know that going in. Most places’ pools/hot tubs were also closed, but there are some with them still open – mostly if they are outside so look around

Very dry inside – unit has 3 humidifiers available to plug in but we could not get them to work correctly. We had all 3 full of water and running but the water levels never went down. We did not alert SCMR of this so hopefully they read this now and get it fixed

Other things I wish I would have known:
Shuttle runs every 20 minutes from 8 am - 5 pm

Spacious rental close to Snake River
The rental was very clean upon arrival. It was also very spacious with a large master and large living space. Patio was also a nice size. We had plenty of room for our family of five. Our favorite part was being able to walk to Snake River from the property. Our kids loved walking there everyday to splash and look for rocks.

Upon arrival we noticed the screens were broken on the doors. We contacted management and they were quick to reply. They offered to fix, but we said it could wait until we left. We had the doors open most of the time we were inside. We loved sitting outside for meals. My only recommendation would be to update the patio seating as it is quite weathered.

We had plenty of towels for the week, but if we needed more they offered to refresh towels after 4 nights.

The kitchen had everything we needed to cook too.

The only thing we did not like was they were doing maintenance on the sidewalks while we were there and for two days it was difficult to get our kids in and out of the condo because they were laying concrete.

We would definitely stay here again. Reasonable price and so close to everything we wanted to do. We were within 5-10 minutes of River Run, Frisco Marina, and Lake Dillon.

Back to Back Ski Trips
Staying here at Lodgepole 2008 and skiing Keystone is perfect. The unit is older, but has everything you need. Located steps from the shuttle bus stop, the location us super conveinient. There are 3 beds and a pullout couch. The unit is large and clean. My only complaint is the bedroom thermostats are not accurate. Both bedrooms were very warm, even when placed on 65 or cooler. You cant go wrong staying here.

We loved this condo!
We have stayed at various properties around Keystone and this has become one of our favorites. The condo is huge! We loved the large living area. One of our favorite features was the wood burning fireplace. It was enjoyable to use all day long as the wood was well-stocked. The kids really liked the indoor pool and it was easy to get to in proximity to the unit. The master bedroom was also over-sized and the bed was extremely comfortable. The condo was very clean. The only downside is that I could not find sheets for the fold-out couch. We just used all of the extra blankets instead. We can't wait to return.

Keystone Rental 01/2019
Place was great. Bigger then expected and clean with all the kitchen items we required. Fire starter log was asked for and delivered within the hour.

Yellow bus line was confusing because it doesn't have a stop near the gondola so you have to take a bus to get to the yellow bus when exiting. Wish I had known cause we would have come down in the area for the yellow line instead and saved 40 minutes trying to get back.

So So
The property is just fine if you are planning to stay just a few days. It is in an older building that is near the main road. We traveled during the summer, so we had windows open, and the traffic kept us up until after midnight. The kitchen has nwere appliances, and it is stocked well. The condo is in an older unit, and the windows would not shut after they were opened, and the porch screen door does not close any longer. The fireplace is a wood burning fireplace. The bathrooms have been updated. It was fine for a couple of nights.
Anonymous from Canon City - Posted: 6/24/2018
Thank you for the feedback. For those that are bothered by highway traffic, we might suggesting using a white noise app on their phone to block that noise. We will have our maintenance staff look at the windows and screen. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay otherwise.

Spring Break
The condo was well equipped and comfortable. The only inconvenience was the noise from guests in the condo above us, made it difficult to sleep as they were heavy walkers and up through the night. Also because the bedrooms face the highway, traffic noise was loud. Recommend having earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Other than that, everything was great. The kitchen was very well equipped, the spa and pool very nice and just a few steps away. The shuttle stop very close, and the fireplace warm and inviting.

Nice Condo in need of some updates
Overall a nice condo. Great location and nice layout with a lot of room! It was clean and appeared to be well maintained. There was no firewood on the deck when we arrived but was stocked the next day after contacting management. With that being said, it could use a little updating. Toilets, recliner, sofa, 2nd bedroom beds, and lighting could all stand to be updated. MB mattress was fine and the bed was nice. Didn't get a chance to try the pull-out couch. Hot tub and pool were very nice and a close walk. Overall a nice stay close to the action with shuttle bus service to the mountain.

The place was great for our group. The wood burning fireplace with the provided wood was a very nice touch. Nice sized living room and couch. We skied Friday and Saturday and used the condo to relax in each evening. The hot tub/pool are located just across from the condo and felt great to relax in after a day on the slopes! The place is located less than a mile from Keystone, so it's a great commute if you are skiing there or any of the nearby mountains.

The one bit of feedback we would give is to make sure there are dishcloths and dish towels available in the kitchen. Paper towels are available, but when trying to hand wash dishes and then dry them, it makes it difficult.

Overall, this place was as described and very cozy. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

Thank you for the feedback. We do stock our vacation rentals with linens, including a dish cloth and towel for the kitchen. We apologize if there were not any present when you checked in. We will follow up with our staff. We hope to host you again!

Cozy and spacious!
This condo was very clean when we arrived and it was very spacious for the 6 of us! Bus stop is right outside of your front door and pool/hot tub is in the building adjacent to the condo. We took the sidewalk path for ice skating at the resort one night and it was only about a 10-15 minute walk. I would just bring a roll of paper towels and extra trash bags if you plan on cooking. Also, the customer service was great, everyone that I spoke to at Summit County Mountain Retreats was extremely friendly and helpful!

Wonderful visit
Very comfy beds. Lots of room for a family of 4. Had nearly everything you would have at your home. They even had an ice scrapper for our car when the rental company did not provide. Wish they would have had a snow shovel but the property maintenance crew saw me trying to dig out by hand and got me a shovel. More channels to watch than we have at home. Loved the shuttle to the ski resort.

Great Weekend Getaway
Stayed here with hubby, 1yo, and father-in-law for a quick weekend getaway. Condo was the perfect size for what we needed, even had a great little space for the pack-n-play in the master bathroom! Great location, walking distance to Keystone Lakeside Village.

Great family getaway!
This condo was perfect for our family of five. It was very spacious and comfortable. The condo is in a great location with easy access to skiing, biking and the amenities on site were perfect for our small children, who loved swimming in the pool.

Awesome views!
We enjoyed our visit after we worked out a few "bugs". Finishing up the cleaning by putting trash cans and rugs back on floor, stealing light bulbs from living room so we had light in bedroom, playing with the electrical box so the hair dryers would work. Daniel was good to come the next day to give us more light bulbs & working can opener. Just a heads up on refrigerator. It didn't seem to be cooling, but I think it was turned on just before we came. When we turned it colder, we froze our lettuce and watermelon. The sheets on the twin beds were tucked under a 2" foam mattress instead of the full mattress, so they kept coming untucked the first night. We used the extra sheets for hideaway and tucked them under the mattress . The condo was nice and we enjoyed out stay. Loved the view from either side!

Great spacious condo, great staff, great stay! AWESOME Value!
This unit was great- we stayed the week after Keystone Resort's ski season ended, and this place was priced at an amazing value. We went skiing up at Loveland which was still open about 20 minutes away and had a blast.

The first thing I noticed was that the rooms were all very spacious. The living room and bedrooms are just as big as they look in the pictures, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen has EVERYTHING you could ever need (utensils, appliances, cookware, tupperware). Also lots of extra blankets, pillows, fans, humidifiers, just plain everything. The fireplace is so awesome! Firewood was fully stocked. The unit is located conveniently close to parking and the Pool/Hot Tub/Grill area- we had a blast in the pool with our 6 year old daughter.

Summit County Mountain Retreats was great to work with, no troubles there. Great communication, all questions answered, and most importantly- great prices.

We enjoyed our stay
We stayed in this unit for 4 nights. It was clean and had all the kitchen utensils that we needed. The beds were great. The sectional was great although may need some updating pretty soon. Overall it was very comfortable and easy drive to the slopes. Instructions to pick up the keys were detailed and the pick up location a short drive from the condo. Loved that the hot tub and pool had towels for guests. We would stay here again.

great condo for a ski vacation
We stayed during the second week in February. I thought the condo was well represented by the photos and description. The ski shuttle picked you up about 50 meters from the front door and the condo was in great shape. We'd definitely rent this condo again in the future.

Our group was very happy with the lodging provided by Summit County Mountain Retreats at Lodgepole #2008. It's spacious condo on the second floor that provides everything you may need for your vacation at Keystone. I certainly recommend it to anybody planning to stay at Keystone in the winter or summer.

Great condo for the value
Stayed here one night while skiing at Breck and Keystone. Had one couple and three single individuals and everyone slept comfortably. Condo has everything you could need, was clean, and the complex overall was quite nice. Due to booking in the slow part of Jan, got an awesome rate. Very satisfied!

We had a very nice time. Great snow and weather.
The condo was well appointed and fireplace was well used. The only issue was the two twin beds were uncomfortable and I would recommend putting in one of those bunk beds where the bottom is a full size bed and upper is a twin.
The location was very good too, only about 2 minutes from Peru lift, and away from the crowds at gondola. The staff at Summit was extremely helpful, friendly and cooperative. I very much enjoyed my trip up to Keystone and I will definitely use Summit for my Spring trip!!
