Thank you for staying with us. We are grateful that you chose our company.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
This property is a great location and has a nice view. It is a short walk to the Keystone village.
The only negative was the Queen bed in the master was caved in on one side which made it difficult to sleep on. There was not patio furniture - even though picture shows patio furniture. We would have enjoyed having coffee there each morning and watching the bikers come down off the hill.Anonymous from Colorado Springs - Posted: 7/23/2024
Thank you for your review and feedback, Finding a mattress that satisfies the mass amount of renters we see is just not possible, but we do like to see every guest comfortable during their stay. If someone does not like the mattress we can offer a replacement air-mattress or mattress topper if we are made aware of the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your feedback!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
The condo was clean, roomy, and well equipped. The view from the balcony was beautiful and it was quiet.Anonymous from Brownsburg - Posted: 7/9/2024

Great location for skiing.

Thank you for your review. We will share this with the store team to let them know how we are doing.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
The condo was great, we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. I don’t think the location could be any better. Walk out of the locker room and ski 50 yards to the lift.Anonymous from Piedmont - Posted: 3/21/2024
We are so happy to hear you enjoyed how close to the slopes this property is! Thank you for choosing us for your vacation. We hope to see you again soon.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
This condo is exactly as expected and described. We enjoyed the convivence of its amenities and location. We thoroughly enjoyed the views from every window overlooking the slope. We highly recommend staying here. We plan to book here again for our next ski trip.
Our only issue, which was minimal, was the coffee maker didn't work. My husband remedied this issue with a short walk into the village each morning for coffee and hot chocolate.Anonymous from Tulsa - Posted: 2/8/2024
Thank you Cidney! We couldn't agree more, this ski-in ski-out property is in a great location with even better views. Thank you for recommending us and we hope to see you back soon!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
Very convenient. We love the easy access to ski. We were able to walk to town square easily and eat lunch and dinner every day. 2nd time to stay in this unit and everything was great.Anonymous from jonesboro - Posted: 1/26/2024

First let's talk about how plush the location of this condo is. 10 steps from the elevator, 10 steps to slopeside views, 30 steps to the hill. If you were any closer to on mountain, people would knock you down as they come whizzing down the run out to River Run. I felt a little like a jerk as I pulled off the run before the lift to take off my gear on slope and walk the 30 steps back to the building, but then I would laugh and remember how awesome REAL ski in/ski out really is. I worked remotely from this condo for a week, and would take my meetings on the deck facing the slope, and sneak out between meetings - it took me longer to get on my gear than it did to get on snow. At night, the lit views of the mountain and the snowcats were magical. This condo is spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The amenities are all true as listed - the kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook dinner in, the open concept layout allows people to be doing different things, but still be together - all while enjoying the 24/7 view of the mountain.
As far as property management goes, I rarely give 5 stars here because I've yet to encounter a company that does little more than the bare minimum. SCMR absolutely destroyed the competition - their communication with me leading up to and during my stay was frequent and prompt. I texted them a few time with questions, and they responded quickly, sometimes within a minute or two. My flight got in early on a Sunday, and took a flyer and called about an early check in - they answered the phone (on a Sunday!) and then promised to do what they could, and would call me if they could get me in early. I wasn't expecting anything further, but they actually called me back and got me in early.
I love everything about this condo and have stayed in it 3 times this year, and will definitely stay again in the future.Anonymous from White Bear Lake - Posted: 11/14/2023

We were somewhat disappointed in this unit. We’ve stayed at Lone Eagle before and always been impressed with the units we’ve been in. Not so this time.
The kitchen is sadly lacking in some basic items ie bowls including microwaveable items. The pots/pans do not all have lids. The oven door has to be pushed firmly in order to work. The water from the refrigerator comes out warm. No napkins...we had to use paper towels even with our guests.
The hot water spigot on the far left sink in the master bath leaks and can’t be used.
In the second bedroom, we understand trying to maximize space with the modified bunk bed. However there is absolutely no light except the overhead. Not a good configuration at all. Even a clip on light would work.
The painting of the patio was a surprise to us. That said, the workers (Eric and his team) were some of the nicest people. We enjoyed talking with them and they did a great job.
So all in all, not the best place we’ve stayed. We would be back at Lone Eagle....just not this unit.Anonymous from DENVER - Posted: 9/11/2023
Thank you for your review and feedback. We have passed these concerns on to our maintenance team to ensure these get fixed as well as we will be working with our team here to assess all pots and pans in the kitchen to make sure they all match up with lids!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
A+++ location for access to Keystone Ski Resort and River Run shopping area. Spacious two bedroom with all the amenities you would expect in a condo at this location.
Decent deck space that would be fantastic during ski season to watch the excitement on River Run. Beds and pillows were comfortable.
Sleeping 8 would make it tight, with 4 people in bedroom 2 and 6 people primarily using one bathroom, but with kids would be doable. A family of 4 or 5 would find plenty of room.Anonymous from Gretna - Posted: 8/10/2023

If the elevator was operational (which it apparently had not been for many weeks/months) and the swimming pool was swimmable (a "do not enter sign was placed next to it), the place is very nice. BUT, not having the elevator working is a non-starter. Each floor is probably 12+ feet and climbing 6, 8, or more flights each time you have to go anywhere is painful.Anonymous from Marietta - Posted: 4/20/2023
Thank you for your review and we wish these concerns could have been fixed during your stay, but unfortunately the HOA manages these and we have no control over them, but we will be sure to follow up with them.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
The lone Eagle condo building in Keystone is pretty awesome, very convenient to get on and off the slopes and with a great ski locker. Our unit was pretty nice too, really nice view of the slopes. Unfortunately, we were on the fourth floor and the elevator was out of service and had been out of service since last June, that’s about eight months. Part of the reason we wanted to stay slopeside was convenient, easy in and out and schlepping everything up for stories at that altitude really put a damper on our vacation. They knew the elevator has been out for months, I feel a little deceived that they didn’t tell us at the time of booking because it would’ve changed my whole plan. Schlepping, kids, luggage, groceries, etc. up 4 flights of stairs at that altitude was more than inconvenient.Anonymous from Palm Harbor - Posted: 4/3/2023
Thank yu for your honest review! I was unfortunate that the elevator was out during this stay and unfortunately we do not manage this elevator, but we can always provide luggage support to guests when requested!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
Great experience all around. Perfect location, rooms and amenities were all as advertised, and we really appreciated all of the information sent in advance of the trip. We would recommend this to anyone, and would 100% return here for any Keystone trip.Anonymous from Norfolk - Posted: 3/14/2023

condo was great location, you can't beat it especially with kids. Only a two complaints, the oven door would not stay shut, we had to hold it to cook stuff.
Several dishes were very dirty when we arrived and had to rewash things before we could use them.
Beds were great and the space was perfect for our family. great TVs.Anonymous from BOLIVAR - Posted: 3/10/2023

Location and home were excellent. The process of getting the keys and the secondary forms that needed to be sign could have been much better explained but that is also likely due to the last minute booking.Anonymous from Dallas - Posted: 2/27/2023
Thank you for your feedback. We provide our guests with a digital guide book with detailed instructions on how to check into the property. This information is provided in advance and is recommended to read over this information before arrival to avoid any confusion. However, if a guest does have any trouble they can reach out to us directly. That is why we operate 24/7 and have a large staff to assist our guests with various issues.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff

Pros...location and one employee Kori
Cons...I was notified at 4:30 that our condo would not be available until after 5. I was understanding and more than accommodating, but certainly expected a quality cleaning service.
I had to call the after hours number that evening as the master bed sheets had not been changed. The bed was made, but the sheets were more than apparently dirty, covered in hair.
The next morning we noticed obvious dirt/soil on the living room end tables and the dining table. One end table so soiled there was obviously no attempt at cleaning.
All of this is all extremely disappointing and that doesn’t even include the fact as others have mentioned the elevator wasn’t working. Unless you are able to walk 3 flights of steps this is not the rental for you. Honestly not sure how they are able to rent any units in this building without a functioning elevator.
There’s been no attempt by this management company to make any of this right, so unlikely I will ever use them again.Anonymous from High Ridge - Posted: 1/8/2023
We are sorry this guest experienced issues. We’ll investigate your concerns promptly to ensure immediate resolution. We do not manage the elevator and the outage is completely outside of our control.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
This was a great condo for our family of 5. We've probably stayed in lone eagle 7 or 8 times now and we've never been disappointed. Condo 3024 was perfect. We had everything we needed, we had a great view and we had a great experience with the management team. Very responsive and always willing to help. Honestly, we didn't really need them for anything but when I asked a question, they responded within minutes. AAAA++++ trip!!!Anonymous from Waxhaw - Posted: 1/2/2023

Lone Eagle is right next to the slope, the ski lockers work well. The heated garage is nice and its easy to get your gear up the elevator to the condo. This condo was nice, view of the slope, and has everything you need. We cooked in a lot.
Maintenance needed: the oven door does not shut tight and the thermostat may be off - we had to set the temp 100 degrees high to cook, so this was frustrating to figure out. Also, the smoke alarm close to the oven went off with no smoke or noticeable issue - so that was a pain in the ***. This should be replaced.Anonymous from seattle - Posted: 2/18/2022
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are glad to hear that you liked the location, access to ski lockers, heated garage, views from the condo, and that you found the condo to be well-appointed. Thank you for the feedback about oven and smoke detector. We have scheduled our maintenance team to take a look at those items at the next available opportunity. Our whole team works very hard to keep our customers happy, but we can only do it thanks to amazing customers like you. Thanks again, and we hope to serve you again soon.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
Location location location!! Always a pleasure to stay at lone eagle. Beautiful condo! A few things could be fixed like the loose toilet seat, a drawer in kitchen, & something else that I can’t remember but so minimal. I would recommend to anyone that wants a true ski in ski out!!Anonymous from Pemproke Pines - Posted: 1/29/2022
We’re so happy to hear you had a great experience with us. We truly appreciate you making us aware of these discrepancies. Now that we have this on our radar we will have our staff investigate this further. We will have someone get that toilet seat and drawer cover tightened or replaced depending on what is needed. Thanks again, and we hope to serve you again soon.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
This is a very spacious 2 bedroom unit with incredible slopeside views and an incredible ski in/ski out location. Would definitely stay here again when in Keystone.
My only suggestion would be that the Summit County Mountain Retreats would allow guests arriving before 4 PM to at least pick up a key card for the parking garage and to be able to access the common amenities in the building even if the room isn't ready. It was very inconvenient to have to wait until after 4 PM to get into the Lone Eagle building after taking a 6:20 AM flight from FL. Other units that we have rented in the past in Lone Eagle from Keystone Resorts directly allowed this and it was very helpful to be able to at least enjoy the common lobby area, gym, hot tub, or change and go ski etc. before the room was available.Anonymous from Parkland - Posted: 1/9/2022
Thanks for your comments and for having selected our property. SCMR does allow guests to get a packing pass and an amenity access key before time of scheduled check in. Guests are able to pack as early at 10am on their arrival day. We apologize if there was any mis communication during this request. We extend our heartfelt apologies for not achieving our goal of providing you with a top-notch stay, but we appreciate you staying with us on this visit and hope to see you again soon.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
Beautiful ski in ski out condo. Exactly as presented. Really enjoyed the stay.
Hot tub at night was perfect, to wind down. Definately recommend.

Very easy to work with SCMR. The condo was clean, is well stocked with towels, toiletries, and kitchen supplies. The view from the balcony is fantastic. Note that everything in Keystone is closed down, so it is spooky quiet. The only thing I missed was that the lifts weren't running, but its a very minor point. We lucked into the peak color season and it was spectacular.Anonymous from Centerville - Posted: 10/10/2021

We did love the condo and the location but the elevator was down twice while we were there also the hot tub was not available one night and another it was not warm. Parking was a bit tight due to people taking more than one spot. The rental was clean and nice and was well stocked.Anonymous from SAINT CHARLES - Posted: 8/1/2021
We are glad to hear this guest was able to enjoy this well stocked unit. The elevator is being addressed by the HOA of the building. Unfortunately it was shut down for an emergency repair. We will also follow up with the HOA about the hot tub at the complex. We hope to host these guests in the future.Summit County Mountain Retreats staff

Stayed here in August of 2020. We picked the condo because it was larger than other 2BR/2BA and a bit more private. We were not disappointed. The condo was indeed spacious and well laid out. Would definitely stay here again.Anonymous from Austin - Posted: 10/5/2020
Absolutely loved our stay. Clean, perfect location next to the lift/village. Great amenities. Lockers for your gear. Great view. Kids loved it also.Anonymous from Abilene - Posted: 3/20/2020
Perfect unit for a family that is looking for the convenience of ski in/ski out within 100 yards of two lifts, 150 yards of shops, restaurants, and rental equipment. Property has amenities available to guest including spa, heated pool, steam room etc. Unit ski lockers at ground level a real plus to make ending the day easy. Heated garage a plus as well. Well kept and comfortable unit with more than we needed to maximize our stay. Will come back and recommend to friends.Anonymous from Webster - Posted: 1/22/2020
We love this condo & chose it specifically again for our stay at Keystone. The views of the ski slopes are the best. The ski-in/out area makes it so much easier with kids! The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking during your stay. The heated parking garage is great! It is a very short walk across the bridge to River Run Village.Anonymous from DeQueen - Posted: 1/21/2020
It was a lovely condo with gorgeous views of the slopes and true ski in ski out.Anonymous from Tulsa - Posted: 3/24/2019
Every aspect of the rental experience was perfect and as expected. My only complaint would be with Summit County Mountain Retreats. Overall, the experience with them was great, but at the end of my vacation I inquired about renting another of their properties for next Thanksgiving. I was told the pricing for next year hasn't been set yet, and I should try back in 3 months. I would personally be very upset if I owned one of the units, and had someone interested in renting it a year in advance, and the management company told them to try back in 3 months. I would expect someone to find a way to determine a rental fee a year in advance and get my rental property under contract if I were the property owner. I'm more likely to find something else and get it locked up, than wait 3 months for the property I inquired about. ThanksAnonymous from Bucyrus - Posted: 11/27/2018

Our family of six had such a wonderful experience at Lone Eagle in Keystone! The condo was clean and well kept. We had plenty of space for our family. The location was perfect. Just a short walk to River Run Village (shops, adventure center, restaurants, gondola, etc) without actually being in the village. And a short drive to nearby attractions like Lakeside Village and Frisco marina. The view from our balcony was beautiful! It was such a magical week for our family. We will definitely be back!Anonymous from Leawood - Posted: 7/20/2018
We went out to keystone for our honeymoon! The resort was empty, which was awesome and the condo was amazing! We had a really great time! so is really close to a basin and breckAnonymous from Dumfries - Posted: 4/24/2018
Our stay at Lone Eagle was amazing! As promised, the condo provided a true ski in/ski out location with beautiful slope side views. The unit was spacious with great bathrooms and a fully functional kitchen. The guest bedroom was a great fit for kids with a bunk bed (queen on the bottom) and the pull out sofa was a true queen. Would reserve exact same unit upon return. Only trouble was controlling heat—unit was too warm even on lowest setting.Anonymous from Lake Forest - Posted: 4/9/2018
Loved this condo. It was right by the slopes and you could watch skiers right outside your window. The complex was clean at all times and it was a short walk to the Gondala. We ventured into the Keystone Village at night and went to the hot tub every night. My family really enjoyed their stay!Anonymous from Castle Rock - Posted: 3/17/2018

Had a great week over Presidents Day weekend. The condo was perfect for my family of 4. Reports of hard beds which scared me but they were fine. My husband actually preferred it. The furniture was a little worn some worse then others but the owners wotte in their book that they were getting new furniture. It’s s great location right on the main run into the gondola and lift.Anonymous from Garnet Valley - Posted: 2/23/2018

Very nice condo. We have stayed at many Lone Eagle properties before. Furniture is a little tired and outdated. Great view of the ski mountain.Anonymous from Louisville - Posted: 7/19/2017
Our first stay at Lone Eagle after having stayed in nearly every other complex in Keystone over the last ten years. The building has a great location, period, and the unit has a front row seat to the mountain. We especially loved the shaded pool and hot tub on hot summer days. The unit is very spacious and well equipped. The pictures and description are accurate. Previous reviews noted hard beds but they were fine. We did find a lot of minor repairs that need to be resolved, mainly electrical....lights, fans, switches, etc....but, don't let that discourage your impression, they can be easily resolved by the owner. We loved the large deck and watching the bike riders come down the hill and watching deer stroll across the ski run in the early evening. Access is great, elevator drops you off directly across from the entrance. We found the unit to be very quiet despite a busy holiday weekend. Overall, definitely 5/5 stars for any time of year and a wonderful solitude to slip away away for a few days. SCMR was very easy to book through and helpful with our questions. Everything went smoothly as it should.Anonymous from Broomfield - Posted: 7/12/2017
We rented 3 condo units in total celebrating our 50th Anniversary with our whole family. Accommodations were everything we expected and then some! Unfortunately my husband had a stroke on our 2nd full day and we experienced the excellent care of St. Anthony's Hospital in Frisco and Lakewood. We ended up all leaving a day early to head back to Texas. The family enjoyed the time we got to share in beautiful Keystone, Colorado.Anonymous from Sugarland - Posted: 7/6/2017

This condo is the perfect location for skiers and people that just want to enjoy the view! It is located closely to River Run Village. There is a nice heated walking trail that connects to the bridge to get to the village. If skiing, it is perfect! The ski locker room was also a great addition to our ski trip! It made everything very convenient. The heated pool and hot tub was a blast for our kids. We plan on booking Lone Eagle for our trips from now on!Anonymous - Posted: 1/3/2017
We loved the rental and though the location was great. The unit was very comfortable and the views were absolutely beautiful. The furniture was okay but a little tired looking. The fireworks display on Saturday night was so pretty and we had the perfect view from our balcony. We loved the heated garage and that the complex was small so that everything was easy to get to. The only thing I would complain about is that the mattresses were very hard and none of us slept well due to the hard mattresses. I read other reviews stating the same problem so I would hope the owners would try and fix the problem because I would really like to rent this unit again but would hesitate because of the mattresses.Anonymous - Posted: 12/6/2016
Nice condo. Clean. Great view of the ski slope. Terrible pillows in the master bedroom.Anonymous from Loveland - Posted: 10/9/2016
We enjoyed our stay and loved the location. The property was clean and quiet with great amenities. Our only recommendation is to include some paper towels, ziplock bags or aluminum foil, and sharper knives. We would recommend this location to friends and return if we are in the area again.Anonymous - Posted: 9/6/2016
We loved our stay except for our bed. It was very uncomfortable and we did not sleep well. Would not select this condo without changes in beds.Anonymous from Little Rock - Posted: 8/28/2016
We had a wonderful time, as always this rental team did a great job! There were a bunch of small issues in the condo, the hot water was almost impossible to regulate in the showers in both bathrooms, the under cabinet lighting in the kitchen was missing bulbs and the bulbs that did work weren't working properly so they kept going off and on, we couldn't close the window in the Master Bedroom and finally there were not any large frying pans or large pots so cooking for multiple people was very difficult. In a condo that sleeps 8, the kitchen needs to be adequately outfitted for cooking for 8 people.Anonymous from Broomfield - Posted: 8/12/2016
Great condo, great location - able to sit on the deck and watch the kids hit the bike park. Only suggestion - new pillows!Anonymous from Littleton - Posted: 7/27/2016
The spot was great. Location was pretty good.Anonymous from Milwaukee - Posted: 5/25/2016
We have rented from Summit County Mountain Retreats many times in the past and have always had great service. The past few times we have made our reservations with Matt and he takes great care of us making sure everything goes just perfect. Plus the cute girls in the office are super nice too!! As far as this property goes it is very nice and everything is in great shape. We will stay here again without a doubt as soon as we can get back to keystone. Thanks SCMR!!Anonymous from Wichita - Posted: 5/11/2016
This property was exactly as described, and we would recommend it highly. Our stay was "off season", but we had lots of snow! :) The fire pit on the lower level didn't work (only disappointment).Anonymous from Fruitland Park - Posted: 5/10/2016
We rented this condo in the off-season, so the facility and the townsite was very quiet, which was fine for us. We skied at Arapahoe and were able to run to Dillon for any shopping needs, 5 minutes in either direction. The facility was well maintained and in a great location. Despite being off-season, we had full access to all amenities and the heat was still on in the pool and hot tub. We really enjoyed our stay.Anonymous from Martensville - Posted: 5/3/2016
Fantastic property.
Up to date.
Best of the lone eagle properties that we have stayed in.(total of four)

The unit was well represented and very comfortable. The balcony view of the slope and ease of access to the slopes was great!Anonymous from Wentzville - Posted: 1/5/2016

This vacation property was perfect! Had everything we needed and plenty of room for everything we needed! I get a room somewhere in keystone every birthday.... And so far this has been my best stay yet! Best part is.... Going through VRBO and summit county mountain retreats saved me tons of money and i was able to find a condo in the most perfect spot possible! Thanks again for another incredible birthday adventure with you guys.... And until next time!Anonymous from Lakewood - Posted: 11/28/2015
Thank you for the high praise. We love it when folks who used to pay sky high prices from the resort find out that they can save a bundle with us. It is a true win win. We run our operation as lean as possible without sacrificing important service. This allows owners to make as much from us as they did from the other guys and for our guests to see huge savings! We look forward to having you again!Summit County Mountain Retreats staff
Nice get away. Very comfortable condo and Builiding. We went just to get away in the fall, nothing in River Run as far as shopping, food and bars are open during most of October. Would have been good to know, may have stayed closer to dillon.Anonymous from Russell - Posted: 10/27/2015
Stayed for the long Labor Day weekend and enjoyed our stay immensely. Condo is well maintained. Views are great and proximity to River Run is perfect.Anonymous from HIGHLANDS RANCH - Posted: 9/10/2015
We enjoyed a lovely time in Lone Eagle. This condo had everything we needed... lots of space, great views and amazing fire pit, hot tub, pool and lobby!Anonymous from Fort Myers - Posted: 8/29/2015
Enjoyed our stay this summer. The condo was very roomy for our family of four. The master bath included robes which was a nice surprise. Our view was of the gondola and a small bike park. Would be fun in the winter, but would have preferred the trees in the summer. Free Gondola ride on Friday afternoon and walking distance to Keystone Village a plus. Inxpot coffeehouse is a great place to chill.Anonymous from Omaha - Posted: 8/25/2015
Simply put, a fantastic unit and location. Overall the management was good, but they never answer their phones and you always have to leave a message and can't get an immediate response.Anonymous from HIGHLANDS RANCH - Posted: 7/15/2015
Relaxing, comfortable, everything we needed at our fingertips.Anonymous from Ames - Posted: 6/30/2015
Having stayed at Lone Eagle last month, we weren't aware that this particular property was actually managed by another company. Not having a manager on duty 24/7 made our first day a bit unsettling as we were having key issues. But once that got all settled-we were loving life. Check in was a breeze, courteous staff, condo is the best location...we hope to be back this season!! Happy New Year!Anonymous from Eden Prairie - Posted: 1/14/2015
This is not our first time renting a condo at Lone Eagle. That being said, we will always choose Lone eagle as our only condo to stay in at Keystone. It is no doubt the best location for the best view! Ski in and out is perfect for a short stay. We spent most of our time on the mountain and were grateful that the condo was conveniently close. Condo #3024 was very spacious. Equipped with stainless steel appliances and large kitchen area made the trip worthwhile. Overall, we loved our stay at Lone Eagle #3024.Anonymous from Houston - Posted: 12/30/2014
