Broken Bed and too expensive
Overall not a bad place. It was clean and the staff was nice. Sadly, there was a broken bed which ruined the trip for others, and the response was that we could get $25 back. That is upsetting, and we would not stay here again.

Good except for a few issues
The place was fine except for a few issues. The downstairs bathroom sink was completely clogged making it barely usable. The downstairs bathroom had a bunch of hair in it from a previous guest. The fan blower on the gas fireplace made very loud noises off and on, which was bothersome in the evening when trying to relax.

Aside from the above mentioned cons, overall the place was nice. Very convenient to Keystone ski area.

The Place Was Awesome!
I loved the rugs, blankets, and all the kitchen stuff (except a pot...there were not pots, just one large one). The bed was great, and everything was awesome. It's just always the directions and getting to a place that is very stressful. We had a hard time getting there, figureing out the garage, and identifying the building. Maybe texting that with the address would be better, it was like the address will come in a separate email, and it was dark and very hard to find. I didn't realize the garage was in the construction zone, not the first entrance...all this clarification would have made it easier. Overall a great place.

Overall I Recommend
We were very satisfied. We liked the well equipped kitchen with the new appliances, the view and plenty of room and separate beds (mattress) for each of the 3 teenagers. I would have liked the apartment even more if kitchen cabinets would not smell moldy, and the king bed in master would not be too soft and if those old bathroom taps would be easier to turn. None if these ruined the vacation. (The community pool did not have towels and the sauna was broken, but property management told me it is a HOA issue).

Ok - tough to relax
The photos of the beds did not match what was in the unit. The twin bed was actually a day bed with a foot and headboard, which didn't allow for comfortable sleeping for a tall adult. I was glad we brought an air mattress as a backup for the fourth adult. We could not get the fireplace to work. What was most difficult was I received text messages asking for my departure time before I had even checked into the unit for the night. If check in is at 4:00 or 4:30 and check out is at 10 am, that is the time you paid for. You should not have to relay your arrival and departure times if they are within the set time frames. I was hoping to relax but kept receiving emails and texts about this unit. I understand over-communication can be helpful, but I found it to be distracting and unhelpful. I was happy to receive clear check-in instructions in advance, but that was all that was needed. The mini coffee pouches are not meant for that size coffee maker. We tried to make coffee at the appropriate strength for 4, but it didn't work well. We opted to go out and buy coffee in the morning. The mini shampoo and soaps were very hotel like, which was also tough for 4 people. It was a great location and spot for people who need a place to stay in the area, but I was frustrated by some of the things listed above. I have not had that experience when staying at other VRBO locations or Airbnb locations that are managed by an owner or a smaller company.

We are also sorry that our automated system was annoying to this guest. We have found that it is better to use a system that allows guests to report issues quickly and easily, rather than waiting on hold for extended periods of time during peak times. Additionally, we offer multiple ways of interacting with our staff that are quick and easy. This includes our phone system, texting system, mobile app and email. It is our goal to give our guests multiple ways to interact with us in the easiest manner possible so that they can enjoy their stay.

Our stay in Keystone
This was a lovely rental place. Very spacious and clean. We had an enjoyable experience with no issues. The only drawback was that it is a 3rd story walk-up and the stairs were hard, but we knew that going in, so it wasn't an issue. We would stay there again if the chance arises.

Spacious and Comfortable
Loved our stay at Quicksilver 1658. Plenty of room for 6 adults to eat, sleep, be together and have separate space, too. Extra twin mattress fit in the 2nd bedroom. Kitchen had everything needed to cook dinners, including a large slow cooker. Condo was clean. Beds were comfortable. We appreciated the quick responses from staff, small humidifiers, fans, thick towels, as well as the short walks to shuttle stop and hot tub.

Altitude/Walkup
The location was perfect for us because our relatives live within walking distance. 3rd floor walkup at 10k' is more of a challenge than at home (5K). Unit was in good shape other than blinds need replacement. Overall very good. We have used Summit County before so the check-in was expected, but the first time was a bit confusing.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a detailed review. Please know that we have a 24 hour staff to help with any check in related issues and provide our guests with detailed information prior to arrival. Should guests experience issues with the altitude we recommend utilizing the boost oxygen that can be purchased from the office, renting oxygen from a local vendor, or using the oxygen bar located in Breckinridge. Thank you for making us aware of the blinds in the unit, we will have a staff member get those repaired as soon as possible. We hope that you will come back and stay with us again soon.

Stained carpet, otherwise great.
The only major objection was that there were some serious stains on the carpet which gave a poor first impression when walking in the first time, however the property was otherwise clean and the stay was very enjoyable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. It does have a lot of stairs...being on third floor and the master sweet is up even more stairs. Overall, we loved our stay. We also appreciated the disinfectant spray they left for our own use. House was very well stocked and trash is convenient. We will definitely be back but will probably opt for a lower floor.

Lovely 5 Nights July 2021 at Quicksilver 1658
We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Quicksilver #1658 in July 2021. It was clean and comfortable and met our needs. We ended up spending more time in the condo than we had expected due to rain and it was really nice to have the homey experience rather than a hotel. It also made the trip much more affordable than renting two hotel rooms, plus we cooked many of our meals there instead of dining out. If you have a problem with climbing stairs at this altitude it is not the place for you but we were fine.

The king bed in the spacious upstairs loft was very comfortable. There was a lovely view from the loft out the windows in both directions. I was concerned that it might be too warm to sleep without air conditioning but it was perfect when we were there with the windows open. However, there was an issue with the floorplan with the noise carrying from below to the open loft since our family does not all go to bed at the same time.

It was nice to have a queen and a twin in the second bedroom rather than two twins like other options that were available at our late booking date. Our adult children slept in that room and at 6'4" our son would not have fit well in a twin. There was an additional mattress in the closet that we could have used if another had decided to join us.

The kitchen was well appointed. The only thing that I needed but could not find was a vegetable peeler.

We had other relatives who stayed at the Keystone Lodge and Spa and once we figured it out it was an easy 8 minute walk on a pretty path past the tennis courts through a parking lot to the walkway under the highway to the Lodge. The Lodge has a beautiful trail around a lake as well as a restaurant and other amenities. River Run Village is also close by with the gondola to the top of Dercum Mountain, restaurants and shops.

We did not use the indoor pool and hot tub but they were open. The tennis courts were right there and we played tennis a for a

We had a nice time at this condo. Stairs up was a little tiring for us since we're in our 70's. Had booked a previous lower level condo there, but they called and offered us this one since ours was being remodeled. Probably would choose a lower level again but views were wonderful! Had grandkids there also and they loved it. Indoor pool was great and the location was great, too. The water pressure was a little low and not sure why. Beds were very comfortable, too. They furnished fans to use if it got hot there during the day which really helped.

Great little room
We stayed here for just short of a week and we loved it. We are from Houston, where the altitude is insanely different, so we have to and puffed a bit trying to get up and down the stairs every day, hahaha. The unit was clean and had everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio and taking in the view. We had all the amenities that we would need to make for dinners every night. The bed was comfortable and we even enjoyed hanging out in the living room and watching TV one night. This was a great room and we loved it

Great First Impression
Place was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the kitchen and living area the most. However, the downstairs bedroom was cold, so was the bathroom, it felt like refrigerator. The open space to the bedroom upstairs made it difficult to sleep in while others enjoyed the living room below.

Great place to stay for skiing in summit county. Very nice condo. As mentioned previously the upstairs loft does get warmer than the rest of the condo.

Keystone Conference Stay
Overall great stay- perfect location if you are attending a conference at the keystone conference center. The company was easy to work with and flexible. My only suggestions are that the unit needs a good rug cleaning (many spots all over) and someone to walk through to change lightbulbs and fix the windows in the loft that won't close and don't have a screen so they just are open all the time.

Nice Place
Clean nice place. Very close to Keystone. The King size bed is upstairs in an open loft, so if you have a baby you have to go to the other room which is closed off to the outside, just a good bit to know. Overall, loved it.

Great Centrally located Keystone Condo
Very clean and ready to roll! My only comment is that since the upstairs bedroom is a loft you can hear everything in the condo, so bring earplugs or sleep your heaviest sleepers upstairs. Otherwise this was a great place for our family to stay with great amenities, right on the shuttle bus line, with good parking and quiet neighbors. We would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable condo. Was nice to come home to at the end of the day. Good centralized location in central Colorado. Was a summertime vacation for us. Convenient to Keystone, Breckenridge, and Dillon/Frisco area. Clean and well equipped. When coming back, would like to have this one again.

Conference in the mountains
I had a nice quiet time in the mountains. Easy access to all of Keystone via free shuttle or easy walking. Quicksilver area was nice and quiet. Really enjoyed the hummingbird outside our balcony where we at almost every meal. It's not 5-star lodging, but was nice, decently maintained, and well-located for my purposes.

Great place to stay!
Entry into the property was easy - the instructions for picking up the key and finding the apartment were straight forward.

We had everything necessary in the apartment for a comfortable stay for a family of four - all adults. The kitchen is large enough and well equipped to prepare your own meals. The wifi works well, TV's with Netflix access is great, and comfortable furniture.

Some of the instructions - for the thermostats (there were several) were vague, it wasn't immediately obvious which one controlled which zone; also the instructions for the fireplace seemed to be for another apartment because it didn't mention at all that there is a separate fireplace thermostat to adjust the flame.

These same issues also led to disparate temperatures in the apartment. The master bedroom is up in a loft, which opens up to the downstairs and so was always hotter than the rest of the apartment.

However, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Relaxing beautiful spacious townhouse is a home away from home!
Even though resort is known for winter enjoyment it offers much for summertime - scenic 360* views, pool, hot tub, laundry, well lit and maintained property. Summit County offers plenty of recreation and entertainment options for the family.

A nice place with a view of the tree tops and mountains
Plenty of room to relax and not feel cramped. A nice deck with a new grill. Kitchen had all we needed and plenty of storage space. Bed in master is very firm. Beds in other bedroom are more comfortable. Lots of stairs getting to condo and stairs in condo to reach bedrooms; more to reach loft than lower bedroom. Windows need some work as they did not close properly in bedrooms. Upper loft does get very warm in summer and no cross ventilation from windows. Could use a ceiling fan if one could be installed. Also if you use the gas fireplace the loft gets quite warm. All in all a good place to stay, especially for the price in summer.

"Mountain" Snowboarding First Timers
My Wisconsin boys had a blast snowboarding in the Colorado mountains! To top it off, we were fortunate to stay in Quicksilver #1658. Our unit was spacious yet cozy. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals. We loved that the free shuttle arrived right outside our building which made getting to and from the slopes super simple! The only minor disappointment was that we thought we would have a wood burning fireplace, but it was a gas fireplace with a very dimly lit flame even on the highest setting - this definitely was NOT a deal breaker!! When we return, Quicksilver will be our first choice for lodging!

OFF THE PATH BUT NICE AND BIG but dated.
We stayed here MLK weekend 2016. The condo is very roomy but needs to be updated. The master bed is a VERY firm bed if that is what you like. Not horrible, but not for me. Kitchen had the basics. I have stayed at many VRBO's and found many more kitchen items in others. We got by but more heat and eat versus cooking meals in my opinion. I gave this 4 starts. It's not bad, good price for a holiday weekend but would not be my first choice. Owners need to update the condo. 3 flights of stairs, carrying up and down all the gear is a challenge. Not on mountain side but the Keystone BUS STOP is right there and very close. Parking is there but if you get in late you will have a hard time finding a spot. Overall not bad but not great. Kids liked the pool and hot tub, just remember to bring your own towels for that. They are not provide. I thinks it would be great to add a queen bed and have one twin in each of the rooms for additional sleeping. We had 2 kids so it was fine but there is enough room for another more comfortable bed versus the pull out sofa. NO frills, but serves the purpose and way better than a hotel room!!!!

Thank you for staying with us. Future guests should note that there are ski lockers on the first floor. It is also important to note that this property is great for families on a budget. Though it may lack the things described above, the rental rate reflects these facts.

An Unbelievable Condo Experience
My condo was far more than I ever expected. Extremely clean, nice, elequent and very classy. I never imagined that I would be assigned a split level condo. Downstairs with bedroom and fullbath. Upstairs with bedroom over looking the living room and full bath. Cathedral ceiling in living room with a fireplace. Elequent furniture and enjoyed immensely by me! So much modern technology. So UNBELIEVABLY NICE and very afforable. The fully equipped kitchen with bar and dining room all opened up into the HUGE living room.

Depends on your expectations
Quicksilver 1658 is as advertised, and is a good option for up to six people. The furnishings are adequate but getting a little out of date and are showing some wear. The building only has outdoor parking, which could be an issue during ski season. If those things are not a problem, then this is a great choice.

Great price, nice place!
With the price being taken into account, this place was awesome. It is an ode to 1980, but who doesn't want a little nostalgia in their lives...

It was very outdated, but was roomy and clean. It had all the necessities, dishes, pots, coffee maker, etc.

Views were great and location was awesome.

I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Property
For the price, this place was the bomb. Huge ceilings. Spacious floor plan and loft. Great central area. This place sleeps 8, but honestly could do 12 in a pinch hahaa. Perfect for socializing.

Are the amenities and decorations the nicest I've ever had? No. Did I pay for that? Nope. It's an awesome cheapish ski condo with a great indoor heated pool and hot tub. Thank you!

3rd Floor Quicksilver great if you don't mind climbing stairs
Great place, great location, condo was very spacious, beds were not so comfortable. Our unit was on the third floor and there were no elevators. Didn't think that would be a factor, until we had to make multiple trips up and down to bring in luggage and groceries. The pool, hot tub, washer & dryer were not located inside the building where our unit was. I would stay here again only if I could get a 1st floor unit.

USE MOUNTAIN HOUSE BASE AREA (NOT RIVER RUN)
Great place. We had a lot of trouble with the Keystone shuttle, however. I highly recommend that if you stay here, you should use the Mountain House base area for skiing. Mountain House can be reached with one shuttle. We rented skis & made River Run our base for skiing unfortunately, because it takes 2 shuttles to get there from the condo. One night it took us an hour to get back to the condo.

Very Good Value Spacious Condo
Nice spacious large Condo. Nice design with large windows and views. Condo could use some updating with newer furnishings. Manual can opener did not work, electric one not available. Owners should consider placing king bed in back bedroom on main level bc its way more private, And placing both twins in the loft and add another 3rd twin or full bed to maximize their rentals.

Not Bad
As the other reviewers stated, it is dated, but good for the value.Only complaint would be that the trash under the kitchen sink was not taken out when we arrived.

The kids loved the BIG pool all to them selves. The pool, sauna, hot tub, shower rooms were very well maintained, stocked and CLEAN!

Thanks for the great "1st snow of the season" weekend.
