Peaceful and Perfect
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. This place was clean, and as described. While it could use some updates there was nothing wrong with it and I would and plan to stay again! Beds were comfortable and location was perfect! I wish there was more information about the pool and its location but I contacted the management company and they immediately got me the information!

Check in time is late. One small bag of coffee for a one-week stay is cheap.

Our check in time is standard for this industry here as well as we do supply the initial amount of coffee, but guest can always pick up more from our office!

Location, location location
The location of this villa is ideal! It is on the first floor, ground level however, at time it does get noisy from the second story. Villa had all of the amenities. However, the noise was a bit of a concern. You do hear traffic upstairs.

Ski trip
We had difficulty finding the property as we arrived in the evening and it was already dark. The property is difficult to get to if the roads are bad. I had to get out of the car and go looking for our unit, no lights were left on on the porch and it’s down a snowy path. The unit itself is nice and clean. There’s not a whole lot around it and I found myself driving thirty minutes to get to Breckenridge daily. Again, the unit is clean and nice but the checking in process, location of the property and road conditions would keep me from staying here again.

Nice Unit, but Upstairs Neighbors are Noisy
This was our family's 8th spring break ski trip in Summit County area and our 5th at Keystone. Prices in the area have really gone sky high over the last 8 years and we booked this condo because it looked to meet our family's needs and was more reasonably priced. The condo is not the most modern/upscale place we have stayed, but it was certainly nice enough. The condo was clean and has plenty of room for a family of 4 (we have two teenagers). The location is good as long as you don't mind riding the free shuttle or the short drive to River Run base area. Only real complaint is that it is a ground floor unit and the noise coming from the unit directly above was very loud at times. Lucky for us the occupants upstairs seemed to settle down pretty early and did not keep us up all night clunking around. Also the dryer would not really get hot when doing laundry so it would take 3-4 cycles through the dryer to get a load of laundry dry. We reported this to the management company and hopefully they will resolve the issue for future guests. The condo would probably get 4 stars based on price and amenities it offers, but due to the upstairs noise we can only give it 3 stars.

Thank you for your honest review! We are sorry to hear about the neighbors being loud, we can always send Keystone Security to these units to make sure our guests have an enjoyable experience as well as I will follow up with our maintenance team about the dryer!

Cute condo, not awesome complex
The condo is as described and would have fit all of our needs (family of 4 with 2 school aged kids). Location super close to A basin (~5 min) and easy to get to.

However, as soon as we arrived the place reeked of marijuana (inside the condo, but not outside). Turns out it was coming from a neighboring condo in the same building. It was so bad our family couldn’t fall asleep despite being exhausted from the long drive in. We called the emergency office line and they were as helpful as they could be. Made a plan to use an ionizer to clean out the smell, brought air freshener and told us to open windows and use box fans. All of these efforts helped minimally. The skunk smell continued anew each day and was worse in the afternoon (not surprisingly). The only thing that would have fixed this issue would have been to move to another unit; however we were told by the company that they had no properties available (out of 500 in the area per report). We checked with another rental company, but would have been stuck with several hundred dollars extra in cost move midway through our stay. When we got home, even our clean clothes carried the same smell, which was infuriating.

Bottom line, it’s difficult for us to review this place given the complexity of factors that contributed to our experience. The place itself is cute, well stocked and well located. The horrible smell, although not directly the fault of the rental company, totally tainted our whole stay. We have learned to check rental properties carefully and will strongly consider avoiding units that are in individual condo buildings (each building had 4 units) to reduce our chance that heavy smoke from attached units infiltrates the place we stay.

Thank you for sharing your much-valued feedback with us. We’re extremely gutted to learn that you did not have a positive experience! This is an uncommon instance as the vast majority of our guests trust us with their stay and enjoy their experience with us to the fullest. We certainly tried to assist you with everything that we could do. However, we are glad that the townhome itself was accommodating for you and your family. Sadly, we cannot control what others do in other units/areas of the property, however next time if this continues to occur, we can certainly call the HOA security, since it is illegal to smoke anything outside of these units. We would love it if you would come back to stay with us again – we have no doubt that the next time you would have the wonderful experience that the vast majority of our guests have.

Great mountain vacation
We loved the condo , the trees, the snake river & convenient location. Condo was great. Enjoyed hearing the river from patio. If I was owner, I would put a light over the sink & over the shower & tub. (Dark shower). We will come back again for the beautiful, tranquil experience!

Cozy "cabin" in a great location
The "cabin" is in the woods. It is located near a beautiful stream and breathtaking mountains. Gorgeous. We loved coming "home" every night.
The rental was as described. Very clean, spacious, and well stocked in the kitchen with supplies- as well as with everything else you might need away from home. No ingredients or food was there- just a few spices and coffee.
The master bedroom bed was lumpy, however the sheets were crisp, clean, and extra blankets were provided. The pillows are very fluffy. The twin beds in the extra room were fine for our two teens who shared a room.
They provided three Tide pods for laundry, dish soap in the kitchen and hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner and lotion in the bathrooms.
The jacuzzi tub in the master bath was an extra bonus. It was perfect and hot water was plentiful.
The drier vent is worn out-prickly. This needs to be replaced, so be careful when cleaning this out as you might get poked like I did.
Even though our stay was great, we did have a visitor- a little mouse- who came in through the fire place- we were in the woods- so I was not surprised, but it had me question the food I had left out on the counters. The people at Summit County Mountain rentals were able to respond to our concerns very quickly and were available through text- which was nice. They were very nice. They assisted with a simple toilet repair and the mouse issue promptly.
The swimming pool is a five minute drive but was nice to swim in with the kids and the hot tub there was a great soak. Make sure you take the right keys. There was another hot tub right across the parking pad from our condo and this was nice to get to. It also had a bathroom and towels provided.
We enjoyed our stay and made many wonderful memories in Keystone. It was very nice and I would go back because of its privacy, location, and overall comfort. It did take a minute to get used to no air conditioning at night, but using the fans helped as it is n

Super stay.
We had a lovely stay at Trappers Crossing 8770. This property is nicely situated away from the crowds and close enough to get everywhere in Keystone and very close to A basin. The property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. They were adequate linens for a group of four. The couch in the living room with the open kitchen living room was very comfortable. This rental has access to a hot tub and pool down the road however there is a hot tub right across the street that is a 50 foot walk. Overall this is a very good value for sleeping six with ample space and clean comfort. My only recommendation would be to update some of the knives and cooking gear in the kitchen. Summit county mountain retreats customer service and communication was clear, concise and quick to respond when needed.

Great condo!
Great condo for summer activities - hiking, biking and sightseeing. Off the beaten path enough to be out of the traffic yet close enough to I-70 and Breckenridge to be convenient. Good furniture, space, kitchen equipment. Nice patio and forest views with soothing flowing water sounds from the river nearby.

Some noise from the tenants in the unit above on the second floor.

Nice and quiet on weekdays in late August
Cleaners did a great job and toiletries were much appreciated. Beds were comfy. Love quiet location away from the mountain scene. Perfect for a couple. Repairman showed just a few hours after calling in broken spa in master bath but wasn't able to fix - with an outside spa though it wasn't a big loss. A few herbs/spices, a little cooking oil/spray and a grill would be nice addition. Might be time to replace sofa.

Great location near Keystone resort. A little expensive for us, but we splurged to have 2 bedrooms since our kids are older now & want their own beds. Hot tubs may have been closed due to Covid, but we played the provided games by the fireplace. Place was clean. Hope to come back again!

Trappers Crossing, Keystone Co
Perfect spot for us. This was our 2nd year in a row for staying in Trappers Crossing and using Summit County Rentals. The whole experience was great. The unit was very nice, had plenty of room and its just a few steps to a nice mountain stream.

Great weekend at Trapper's Crossing!
The location is perfect with great views and very quiet. The rental was very spacious and we really enjoyed the gas fire! We would definitely stay here again :)

Overall very happy with our stay
Our condo at Trapper's Crossing was comfortably spacious with nice views from the windows and the kitchen was well setup for cooking. The location was perfect for us - very close to hiking trails surrounded by vivid fall aspen colors!

Quite Nice - but ...
Trappers Crossing 8770 was a very nice & very well appointed townhome. It is tastefully decorated, located in a quiet and generally secluded location and remains in very good condition, but ... there are a few caveats. The renters above us (in 8773) had small children and the running and jumping and bounding footsteps “rocked our world” on 2 of the evenings. We did speak with the renters and the noise situation improved, but the noise from the folks walking above us was always noticeable- not a deal breaker, but indeed a nuisance. Secondly, the kitchen cookware left MUCH to be desired. It was dirty and would not be considered adequate for most rentals - I had better cookware in college & must say that the cleanliness, quality, and utility of the pans was sorely lacking and in need of replacement. Third, the pull-out sofa offered the sleeper lackluster slumber as it was very old & the springs were simply tired. Lastly, the internet modem/router suffered from a bad power cable & was consistently unreliable. We logged on to another unit’s router instead. Let’s put things in perspective— While it it easy to complain about what wasn’t so good, on the whole - everything else was quite outstanding. The unit is clean and well appointed, is very tastefully decorated & offers a good value. Sadly, for ~$250, the tired cookware could be replaced, along with the broken kitchen cabinet knobs, and the modem power cable. These small details - if resolved - could have made a good stay “great’. Quite nice, but...

Excellent choice for a quite vacation.
Trapper's Crossing #8770 is the perfect place to rest and view God's natural world. We were able to sit in our living room and hear the gentle sound of the Snake River. A deer grazed just outside our window and a fox made his way through the neighborhood. Perfect setting just at the edge of a wilderness area. The unit was extremely clean and accommodating. Everything you need is inside the unit. We will always book this unit for our summer get-a-ways.

Great stay in Keystone
We had a really great experience at Trappers Crossing! The price was great but the property itself was even better! It had an amazing jetted tub and a really comfy couch and living area. It felt out of the way of busyness but not far from Lake Dillon and surrounding areas. We enjoyed walking down to the river and the overall area and place very much!

Blessed Place in the Mountains
We had one of the best vacation time we been spent with my family, this places helped us to reconnect as a familia and marriage. This place is so beautiful and awesome none of my kids wanted this time finish ever. They tried to be awake at night because they wanted spent every minute of the time enjoying the cabin and the snow. This experience will remain forever in my family memory and on mine. Thank you for making happy families by sharing this wonderful place. God bless you and keep providing with these rentals.

Wonderful retreat
Very impressed with the amount of space, two bathrooms, nice family area and kitchen and laundry at this facility. We enjoyed the jet bath tub a lot too! The sound of the river was very soothing. Nice spot’ would’ve been nice to be a little closer to River Run Village with 3 young kids, but that’s okay. Only thing I would recommend is a queen sized bed with a slightly more comfortable mattress. Otherwise, beautiful location, nice and clean guest house. We really enjoyed our stay! The books, DVDs and games were a nice addition too!

Great stay. Great location
Overall we had a great experience on our recent trip to Keystone. The Summit County Mountain Retreat people were very organized and professional. Check in was perfect. The condo was located just a 2 min drive from the slopes. Loved the layout and the fact that it had a washer and dryer in the unit. However, the unit is advertised as sleeping 6 people. It has a Queen in the master, 2 twins in the guest and a pull out sofa. The pull out mattress was probably the worst I have ever seen. Luckily it was just our kids sleeping on it, but no adult would want to or probably could sleep on that mattress. We did contact the Mgmt office and they sent us an air mattress which helped. But if you are traveling with 6 adults I would not advise staying at this particular unit. Other than that was a perfect experience. Also, the hot tub was not operational during our visit.

First family snow trip
We could not have had a better experience than this. This was the perfect place for a family of 4. We had plenty of space, and all the comforts of home. The location is great, quiet and private. The grounds around the townhome were perfect for the kids to run out and play in the snow. There are a couple of snow toys in the outside closet, and we left a couple behind to add to the collection. Everything was clean. The kitchen had just what we needed to make a few meals. My kids were comfy in the twin beds. The location is walking distance to River Run Village (if it wasn't so cold). It truly felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the patio, open feel inside and all the numerous large windows to let the views of the golden, quaking aspens and river sounds in. We stayed during shoulder season so it was very quiet and peaceful. A perfect fall get away.

We stayed at Trappers crossing while there for my sons wedding while everyone else were scattered around Keystone and Silverthorne. Our place at Trappers Crossing was by far the best! Best views, most private/secluded, just felt like home. Would definitely refer others to you and I’d stay again if ever out that way! That area is just gorgeous!

Great weekend gateaway!
It was very easy to check in and get our the building figured out. The property was great, clean and well-kept. The decor was cozy and rustic. Very thoughtful to have games to play; that is a touch that went the extra mile for sure and allowed to have great laughs and create good memories. The location is magnificent next to a wonderful creek that sounded amazing from the living room. The WiFi got glitchy, but who cares when you are in nature!

Very Comfortable Place in a Great Location
Everything clean and cozy feeling. Furniture very comfortable although convertible sofa not so good for sleeping either as a sofa or folded-out. Close to several great ski areas and to the hot tub just across the parking lot. Excellent sound insulation: numerous cars in the lot, but never heard a peep from any neighbors. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

The property was perfect for our group. All beds were filled and we were still comfortable with the amount of space in the condo. Also, you cannot best the location. Trappers Crossings
Nice, very clean and well-maintained. A very short drive to River Run village. One could say walking distance but not for us with 2 kids and very cold temperatures, certainly not if you're carrying ski/snowboard gear. But literally less than 5 minute drive. Very quiet, feel like you're far away. Kids could play in the show right outside the door.

Just right...
The town house was perfect size or our family of three to spreadout and relax. Location was great with easy ride to River Run village on the shuttle. Reservation process was easy from check in to checkout, just at it was dscribed. Would have been 5 stars but the twin beds are about wore out, definitely suited more for a kid vs an adult and the dishwasher really did not wash dishes well. Overall a great option at a great rate.

We thoroughly loved our condo and stay at Trapper's Crossing. We have stayed at Trapper's before and love the seclusion in the woods!
Since I found this location on VRBO, but booked through Summit County Mountain Retreats, could I avoid the $65 charge for security by booking directly with Summit County Mountain Retreats?

Pretty nice
All looked clean but was not...I was taking a bath in the master jacuzzi tub when I felt something on my leg. I looked down and there was a BIG hank of hair floating around. Very disgusting as you might imagine. Also, it would have been nice to have had some salt and pepper. Other than those two things, it was fine.

We enjoyed our vacation experience at Trappers Crossing # 8770 very much. Great quiet location next to the river. The apartment was clean with adequate amenities in the kitchen to do some cooking. Good size with nice bathrooms and washer/dryer in condo. The shuttle (Orange) picks you up 200 steps from the front door, eliminating the need to park a car at the slopes. Property management company was very helpful and has all questions answered (and provided great directions). Only downside - if your upstairs neighbors are heavy walkers (or have little kids), you will hear them.
