I had a good experience here. The place was sparkling clean and newly renovated. The interior is updated and modern. The bed is super comfortable and relaxing. I would recommend this place to others.

Amazing, pictures do not do the location justice!

Mountain Escape

| 5 out of 5 stars

Very roomy apartment with nice views. Loved the proximity to local restaurants, plus only 5 miles to Keystone. Nicely stocked kitchen and bath. Tempurpedic bed was dreamy! One drawback - the gas stove is tied to the thermostat. Since the pilot light wasn't working till a friend sorted it out, we didn't realize that this was the primary heat source and we were chilly for a couple days.

Nice Little Mountain Get Away

| 4 out of 5 stars

Our rental experience was good. There was enough room for two people and then some. The furniture seemed somewhat out of place for the setting but everything worked except the dishwasher which we couldn’t figure out. Good for a weekend or short get away.

This was a great place to stay. My only complaint was the couch. It was in rather poor condition, the cushions refused to stay on and it was rather uncomfortable. That left us with very few places to sit. With a new couch, I would say this was the perfect location for a small group. The location was great, close to stores, restaurants and many resorts.

Ski trip

Very satisfied with the accommodations. Only issue was trying to get up the driveway after all the snow. Shoveled for about an hour in the afternoon after skiing.

Charming rental with all you need

| 4 out of 5 stars

This property is excellent for a couple looking for a well-priced rental. There's a little fenced yard located right outside for your pet. The rental property was clean and tidy upon arrival. The only cons include that, as mentioned in other reviews, is that is can get noisy with people upstairs in Unit A. We had a loud group partying late into the morning that Summit County Mountain Retreats helped out in quieting the next day, they were excellent and very helpful. Additionally, the couch could be replaced, it seems like its prime has past. Other than these two cons, the place was great.

Convenient but could be noisy.

This is a nice place, it is a great location and a nice for 2 people to stay in. It was great that it was dog-friendly. Overall it was good for a 2 night stay. The downside is that the place overhead of this place has no insulation which meant that we heard all conversations and all movement/noise upstairs which made for difficult evenings when you are trying to relax after the days events. So if you have a noisy large group upstairs, it could pose a problem.

I had a long term rental with my dog Stella to get in a lot of skiing. The location was perfect for getting to the mountains and for our mountain town experience in Dillon. We were townies by the end of our stay.

Great Location!

Review by Kathy I.

We stayed here for a wedding and this was the perfect place for us. The house had a lot more space than the pictures show which was a great bonus! It was also in a great location. Don't have to go very far for some good food options and shopping at the outlets. This would also be great for skiing since it's right off the hwy and would be easily accessible to any of the resorts. One small suggestion to the owners would be to add more lighting in the bedroom. It was pretty dim which made getting ready for a wedding a little harder, but by no means would this stop us from renting here again!

Great location. Clean with everything you need. Overall a great stay! My only recommendation would be to extend the fence wire all the way and lower the gate. My Dachshund slid right under the gate as soon as I put him in the yard. Luckily I brought an 8 ft baby/dog gate with me just in case. Thanks HomeAway and Summitt Rentals.

Excellent Value Overlooking Mountains

| 4 out of 5 stars

Immaculate, well-appointed, private, easily accessed apartment (Wheel chair accessible). Bed was wonderful, linens luscious, kitchen large and functional. Living room and dining area was bright and large BUT too much furniture. It needs two comfortable chairs and the large high-boy should be taken out. Also, a smaller coffee table which can be moved if the couch becomes a sleeper for guests. The living room is very crowded with only one place to sit and the couch is not super comfortable because the cushions slide out. Electric fireplace is fabulous. Views are great. Downsize the furniture, add two chairs and it would be the PERFECT place.

Manager Response:
Thank you for the feedback. We will pass it along to the homeowner. We're glad you enjoyed your stay!

Excellent vacation in beautiful Dillon, CO

| 4 out of 5 stars
Review by Brenda L.

This unit was in an excellent location close to marina, amphitheatre and other local attractions. Very spacious, clean, and pet friendly fenced in yard area accommodated our large dog. Property owner should consider replacing couch in living room, very uncomfortable, hideaway couch also not suitable for guests, and adding a chair or two. Not enough storage area in bedroom for a two weeks stay, no dresser, and tv in bedroom didn't work, other tv reception was "hit or miss." I missed having any outdoor area with chairs to enjoy the awesome scenery in the area. I am not sure I would rent this unit again when I come to the area, as I do annually since family lives in Denver.

Manager Response:
Thank you for the feedback. We will pass it along to the homeowner. We encourage guests to contact us during their stay to resolve any issues, including those with the TV. We're glad you enjoyed your stay otherwise.

Perfect Family & Pet Rental

Review by Shannon G.

We loved the location, the size of the rental and especially that we could bring our 2 small dogs. We love Dillon so being three blocks from Dillon Lake was fantastic. We will definitely choose this rental again for future get-aways.Our only suggestion would be that ceiling fans be put in the bedroom and family room for warmer weather seasons.

OK but feels like hidden fees in the process

| 2 out of 5 stars
Review by Steve B.

Good place. They have one deficiency, the shower. Both me and my wife are small humans and barely fit in it. It was difficult because it was so small. Otherwise it is a great place. I did have to take pictures of small damage the management firm is a bit demanding on that. Hidden fees. I don't mind the total price otherwise we would have looked elsewhere, but the was a $75 cleaning fee from the management, the only clean when you leave, not while you are there unless you want to pay more. There was a $50 fee to VRBO not quite laid out as it ought to be a service fee, then a Resort Recovery and Assistance not sure what is for fire water or whatever, but another fee.Started at $335 added up to $506. We also had a dog and that fee was $25. I would have prefered just a price per night and being told no daily cleaning and I do expect a fee for the pup. The parking was entertaining, not easy to turn around but it works. All in all I would still maybe stay there again, I just don't like surprises.

Manager Response:
Thank you for the feedback. We agree that it would be ideal for travelers to see the booking total when searching, but we do not create the software online travel sites use. That said, when booking on VRBO travelers are shown the complete booking total *before* they complete their booking or input credit card information. On VRBO all of our fees are visible before travelers input credit card information. Rather than roll fees into the rent, we prefer to break out fees so travelers know exactly what they're paying for. VRBO then charges its own service fee. If you book directly with us you can avoid that extra fee.

This was a nice condo at a reasonable price. Being able to bring our dog along saved us an additional $200 in kennel bills. The location is in the town center of Dillon, very nice. The space heaters work well as the main heat source. The gas stove was too hot to leave on for long. Big kitchen.

Perfect location

Review by Mike F.

Perfect for 2 people visiting Keystone, 10 mins drive. THis is part of a larger house so you can hear the occupants , on 1 night there was a party but this when quiet by 22:00. You can hear what sounds like a dishwaher most nights.Ample parking for 2 cars, in the winter AWD is needed as is quire a steep drive, (not sure why you would be driving anything else in the winter)TV in lounge was very temperamental, but we didn't watch much TV.Bed was a firm memory foam, very nice to sleep on.Heating seemed to be linked to main house, as no matter what temp you put it on it made no difference, the gas fire in the lounge made up for this.City Market is 5 mins drive away for all your groceries. Skyline cinema is next door to City Market.

Quaint, Perfect for couples

Review by Kelli F.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this property. I read previous reviews, so was familiar with the hot water function and heater. There is a little carryover noise from the main house in the living room (it sounds like maybe their kitchen shares the living room wall), but that didn't bother us since we were preparing to ski in the mornings too. King bed was very comfortable and pillows were plentiful. The window shades in the bedroom were moderately dark. Lot's of space to spread out and enjoy. There was good lighting options throughout for board games or for relaxing. Brand new humidifier for the property was nice. We had a couple small issues, but I am sure they are fixed now including a non-functioning microwave and missing a snow shovel. Management promptly returned my online messages about those items so I was satisfied by the response.

Keystone getaway

Cozy place but lacks comfortable sitting space and does not have enough lighting especially in the bedroom. It did have a very nice Temperpedic mattress

Nice place for a short stay for skiing/snowvoarding

| 4 out of 5 stars

This was a nice place to stay, especially because they allowed us to bring our dog. There were plenty of dishes and towels for our stay as well as extra blankets if needed. We were there for 4 nights, and it was definitely better than staying in a hotel. They had TV in the living room and bedroom, and a DVD player if needed. The owners of the property, I think, live upstairs, so ypu dp gear them occasionally. The one thing I would complain about is the couch. It was insanely uncomfortable and the uncomfortable cushions slide off all the time making watching even a single tv episode difficult. It's a pull put couch so it makes sense they are removable, but in my opinion this couch was not made for sitting. While we were there we enjoyed 3 mentionable restaurants that we will return to on out next visit to Dillon.Sauce on the Blue was a great italian restaraunt.Red Buffalo Coffee was our go to coffee shop. Red Mountain Grill was a beautiful and delicious restaraunt, a great date night spot.

Dillon Lake Overlook

Pleasantly surprised by how spacious, clean and inviting the 200 Buffalo condo was--exceeded our expectations in that respect. We had difficulty getting two tvs to work--one in the living room was fixed by Nathan who was wonderful but the one in the bedroom never connected. Oh well. The parking space was difficult to maneuver at times but everything else was wonderful. Thank you.

Our stay at 200 West Buffalo, Dillon, CO

| 3 out of 5 stars

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Good location. The yard was covered by overgrown weeds. It would have been helpful to have printed instructions for guests on garbage collection, operation of appliances and the heater. Since the property was for sale, it would have been helpful to understand how realtor showings would be handled during our stay. The biggest problem was the lack of consistent hot water which made showers impossible. After several calls to property mgmt a plumber appeared and explained the best way to use the tankless water heater system, which he said was generally inadequate. Proper instructions should have been provided to help in hot water usage. Even after the plumbers suggestions which was partially successful, the hot water problem was unacceptable.

Manager Response:
Since this guest stayed the hot water issue has been resolved. This issue was an inconsistent problem that was difficult to troubleshoot. We are sorry that this was an inconvenience.

Lake Dillon Apartment

| 4 out of 5 stars

My Husband and I stayed here with our dog for a conference I attended in Keystone. The location was great and the apartment was clean. The only things that would have made it better would be if there had been more light (it's a lower level space and many of the lamps did not have light bulbs, so it was very dim during the day.) Also, there was a very musty odor which you might expect from a dog friendly location, so if that could be addressed it would make it a 5/5 location!

Priced right condo in Dillon

| 4 out of 5 stars

For the price, this place is nice. Good size one bedroom condo. We liked the bedroom and kitchen. The bathroom shower could be larger, it's a pretty tight squeeze. Unfortunately none of the hair dryers worked. The towels were super nice and there are plenty of them. The living room is spacious, but the couch has to go. It is a leather couch that has cushions that constantly slide off. The so called dog area is not pet friendly. It is rocks and over grown weeds. There has to be a better solution - grass somehow? Overall, though, it is a nice place, three blocks from the reservoir, great biking, great trails, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Pet friendly is a bonus. Enjoy!

Good stay

| 4 out of 5 stars

Had plenty of room for our family of 4. The views outside are amazing. We were traveling with our dog so the fenced in pet area was very appreciated. An extra chair in the living room would be good and we also had problems with hot water. We took several cold showers even after letting it run for the 3-5 min that was suggested. The last day I gave up and warmed some water on the stove to wash off with. Overall I would say still a very good rental. The water thing seems like an ongoing issue there was a plumber that was there the day we left so they are trying to fix it.

Great location. Not far away form Breckenridge slopes. Grocery store is close by. All bare necessities and more were there. Unit was clean. we had to 'work' with cold/hot water supply in the shower but we figured it out :). One thing we have to complement on separately is good and comfortable mattress in the bedroom. We spend most of the time skiing and didn't utilize all things that unit had to offer. We were grateful for board games and cards that kids used to play in the evenings. We also happy with an easy and precise communication via email and app - we were able to find all information there. Being able to have our precious dog with us was awesome. Thank you.

This property was cleaned very well with the exception of the hide a bed comforters. We had to go through 3 of them to find one that wasn't covered in dog hair. They were folded in the closet so I think they were just overlooked by the cleaning service. Otherwise a solid 5.

Over all very satisfied with property. Great value. We have stayed here several times. Guess that speaks for itself. Would still like to see one or two more chairs in living room. Only couch to sit on or dining room chairs. Over all will return

Lovely 2-4 person rental

| 5 out of 5 stars

This property was just as described on the website. It was very spacious and nicely furnished. My family of 4 was very comfortable. The location in Dillon is perfect for skiing/hiking and of course dining! I would rent here again! The only suggestion I have for improvement is to have an additional chair in the living area. With only a couch it makes it difficult for 4 adults to sit comfortably.

Geataway weekend

This was a lovely quiet place to stay for a weekend away from catering responsibilities for several 90+ yr parents! Since we were here in the off-season, it felt like we had the town to ourselves! It was a rainy, snowy spring weekend, and the cozy fireplace was just what we needed. The place was clean and easy to find. We had no need of dealing with management. We would stay here again!

Very nice and very clean. Management Service very responsive to needs. Only thing worthy of note is that the bedroom door had no screws in the bottom hinge (suspect that was do to the new carpeting needing more room.) Other than that, it was a wonderful experience.

Good location. Steep driveway with snow was a little difficult. Kitchen, bath and master bedroom are well appointed. The sleeper sofa was poor...two people had to sleep on the floor. The dining table was too wobbly for games. Better unit for two.

Review by Linda C.

We had a great visit to Summit County, as we always do. This trip we required lodging that allowed us to have our dog with us, so options are very limited. This property was more than adequate for our needs. We did not use the small fenced are for our pet, but we did use it to store our bicycles and bike rack. The apartment is roomy, the bed was very comfortable, and we had everything that we needed. It is attached to a larger home, much like a basement apartment, but it is ground level with windows on two sides. The noise that has been mentioned in previous reviews is the noise that comes with sharing an apartment with a house. You can hear footsteps and doors opening a closing, but nothing more than that. The property was very clean and well tended. The biggest issue that we had was that we had to back down the driveway because there is no way to turn an SUV around in the parking space. If we had a car, it probably wouldn't have been a problem.

We enjoyed our stay at 200 W Buffalo. It was roomy and in a convenient location. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Previous reviews complaining of noise were irrelevant...apparently the noise was created by construction quite a while ago. We had a cable problem and a power outage that were addressed promptly by the maintenance staff. Dawn was especially helpful. The views are beautiful and the neighborhood quiet. We did have a dog with us part of the time and there was a small dog area next to the apartment; however, the weeds were high and the fence could have been jumped by many dogs. Overall, this was a very nice apartment which we would be pleased to reserve again.

Review by Heather D.

We had a nice relaxing weekend here. The rental was immaculate when we arrived, and provided just what we needed for a great mountain getaway. The reason we chose this place was because it allows dogs, and our dogs loved it, too. The little side yard was very convenient for them to hang out and do their thing. We liked the central location, too, within walking distance of the lake, a brewpub, etc. The only downside was the noise from the tenants above us. But it wasn't bad noise, just regular living noise that got us up a bit earlier than we would have liked.

Great Play to Stay!

We had a great time staying in this property with our dogs and two year old over the Fourth of July weekend. The location is fantastic. We walked to the lake, the park and to the expansive Farmer's Market. The property is spacious and well appointed. The dog run is a bonus. We would definitely recommend this property.

Clean and Great Location

This rental was exactly what I wanted: walking distance to Lake Dillon, short drive to Silverthorne Outlets, and pet friendly. The apartment had everything we needed to cook our meals. The king bed was very comfortable, but the sleeper sofa was a little thin. You may want to bring an air mattress if it will bother you. WiFi access was simple, as were the TV instructions. The fenced-in yard for dogs was small but adequate. There is no entrance to it from the apartment; you must go outside and open the fence. All in all we had a great trip and would stay here again.

Located near Lake Dillon and walking distance to town.

Location and Accomadations were great!

This small apartment is in the lower corner of a bigger house. The apartment was roomy, comfortable, and had pretty much everything we needed. The only problem we had were the walls were very thin and we could hear the occupants in the rest of the house very well. Besides that, everything was great and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place close to many fun things.

Perfect location - lots of room!

We had a blast and this was a perfect central location in Summit County. We skied at Copper, Breckenridge, and Keystone. Lots of room! We had three small children with us and they also loved staying here.
