Trapper's Crossing #8770

Overview

This charming 1,300 square foot 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom townhome sleeps six and features tasteful mountain décor throughout and intricate hand-painted designs on walls and interior doors, adding a unique touch to your stay. This is a ground-level townhome so there are no stairs to inconvenience anyone in your party.

The spacious living area features large windows with treed views and plenty of seating. There’s a flat screen TV and Blu-ray player next to a beautiful gas fireplace, and the sofa pulls out into a queen-sized bed for additional sleeping arrangements. Extra sheets and blankets are in a closet. The homeowner has provided a selection of board games for your enjoyment. The private patio is right off the living area and offers beautiful treed views, especially in the fall with the changing colors. There's also a ski locker right outside.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home. The dining area is set off to the side and the colorful wood table comfortably seats six with two additional seats at the breakfast bar. The first of two full bathrooms is just off of the living area and has a single sink vanity and shower/tub combination. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries. In the hallway is a private washer and dryer, and laundry detergent has been provided for your convenience.

The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom features double sinks and a jetted tub with shower. The guest bedroom has two twin-sized beds.

_From the homeowner: The patio has great views of the trees and mountains. It's the perfect spot for a quiet breakfast or apres ski glass of wine. Our family loves sitting outside in the summer, listening to the rushing sounds of Snake River with a newspaper or good book. We've provided books in the corner cabinet (take one, leave one), board and card games, and a classic Xbox with games. We love playing games around the fire after a home-cooked meal. We hope guests enjoy this home as much we do!_

Wonderful retreat

Review by Liz G.

Very impressed with the amount of space, two bathrooms, nice family area and kitchen and laundry at this facility. We enjoyed the jet bath tub a lot too! The sound of the river was very soothing. Nice spot’ would’ve been nice to be a little closer to River Run Village with 3 young kids, but that’s okay. Only thing I would recommend is a queen sized bed with a slightly more comfortable mattress. Otherwise, beautiful location, nice and clean guest house. We really enjoyed our stay! The books, DVDs and games were a nice addition too!

Quiet and peaceful place to stay

Great stay!

Very nice location close to River Run. Very few people staying at the resort in the off season so was very quiet, even in a condo on the first floor.

Great stay. Great location

Overall we had a great experience on our recent trip to Keystone. The Summit County Mountain Retreat people were very organized and professional. Check in was perfect. The condo was located just a 2 min drive from the slopes. Loved the layout and the fact that it had a washer and dryer in the unit. However, the unit is advertised as sleeping 6 people. It has a Queen in the master, 2 twins in the guest and a pull out sofa. The pull out mattress was probably the worst I have ever seen. Luckily it was just our kids sleeping on it, but no adult would want to or probably could sleep on that mattress. We did contact the Mgmt office and they sent us an air mattress which helped. But if you are traveling with 6 adults I would not advise staying at this particular unit. Other than that was a perfect experience. Also, the hot tub was not operational during our visit.

First family snow trip

Review by Sarah T.

We could not have had a better experience than this. This was the perfect place for a family of 4. We had plenty of space, and all the comforts of home. The location is great, quiet and private. The grounds around the townhome were perfect for the kids to run out and play in the snow. There are a couple of snow toys in the outside closet, and we left a couple behind to add to the collection. Everything was clean. The kitchen had just what we needed to make a few meals. My kids were comfy in the twin beds. The location is walking distance to River Run Village (if it wasn't so cold). It truly felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again.

Super easy to check in, out, find and use. Kitchen had everything you needed (minus a few spices and sharp knives), it was comfortable and roomy. No complaints.

This was the perfect weekend get away, off season so it was quiet, nicely decorated, warm and cozy. Close enough to restaurants and events yet far enough to be relaxing.

Great Place, Location and Price

Loved the patio, open feel inside and all the numerous large windows to let the views of the golden, quaking aspens and river sounds in. We stayed during shoulder season so it was very quiet and peaceful. A perfect fall get away.

Nice Unit

We were very pleased with this unit. Very clean and functional, with plenty of room for the 4 of us. Nice view and access to wilderness right out the back door. Check in was smooth. We'll be staying here again.

We stayed at Trappers crossing while there for my sons wedding while everyone else were scattered around Keystone and Silverthorne. Our place at Trappers Crossing was by far the best! Best views, most private/secluded, just felt like home. Would definitely refer others to you and I’d stay again if ever out that way! That area is just gorgeous!

It was very easy to check in and get our the building figured out. The property was great, clean and well-kept. The decor was cozy and rustic. Very thoughtful to have games to play; that is a touch that went the extra mile for sure and allowed to have great laughs and create good memories. The location is magnificent next to a wonderful creek that sounded amazing from the living room. The WiFi got glitchy, but who cares when you are in nature!

This cozy home was perfect for our vacation, plenty of space, comfortable furniture, beautiful views, and convenient location.

Very Comfortable Place in a Great Location

| 5 out of 5 stars

Everything clean and cozy feeling. Furniture very comfortable although convertible sofa not so good for sleeping either as a sofa or folded-out. Close to several great ski areas and to the hot tub just across the parking lot. Excellent sound insulation: numerous cars in the lot, but never heard a peep from any neighbors. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect Property

| 5 out of 5 stars

The property was perfect for our group. All beds were filled and we were still comfortable with the amount of space in the condo. Also, you cannot best the location. It is very close to the gondola but is also secluded. The views in front and behind the property were stunning and we cannot wait to book this same property again!

Nice, very clean and well-maintained. A very short drive to River Run village. One could say walking distance but not for us with 2 kids and very cold temperatures, certainly not if you're carrying ski/snowboard gear. But literally less than 5 minute drive. Very quiet, feel like you're far away. Kids could play in the show right outside the door.

Just right...

Review by Bill P.

The town house was perfect size or our family of three to spreadout and relax. Location was great with easy ride to River Run village on the shuttle. Reservation process was easy from check in to checkout, just at it was dscribed. Would have been 5 stars but the twin beds are about wore out, definitely suited more for a kid vs an adult and the dishwasher really did not wash dishes well. Overall a great option at a great rate.

Fall vacation for flyfishing.

We thoroughly loved our condo and stay at Trapper's Crossing. We have stayed at Trapper's before and love the seclusion in the woods!Since I found this location on VRBO, but booked through Summit County Mountain Retreats, could I avoid the $65 charge for security by booking directly with Summit County Mountain Retreats?

The condo was great, very clean and beautiful view. Staff was kind too! Unfortunately, the second night, we had neighbors playing music really loud and at times it sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling. First night was quiet, second night the opposite.

The location was perfect. So close to several ski area, but tucked away enough that we felt we were away from the hustle and bustle if we wanted to be. Everything was spotless when we arrived, and any questions we had were answered in the SCMR portal. The check-in and check-out process was so easy. Will absolutely be back!

Great location with beautiful views, close to Keystone but feels more like a cabin in the woods. Very nice townhome. A great family getaway.

We were very satisfied with our rental. It was very clean, easy access, good size for the 6 of us. The kitchen was stocked well with dishes, and cooking utensils. We liked how close the hot tub was to our rental and the bus pickup was an easy walk. We had a great time!

Pretty nice

Review by Barbara N.

All looked clean but was not...I was taking a bath in the master jacuzzi tub when I felt something on my leg. I looked down and there was a BIG hank of hair floating around. Very disgusting as you might imagine. Also, it would have been nice to have had some salt and pepper. Other than those two things, it was fine.

We had a great time here. The setting is really pretty and quiet. We had to call Summit County Mountain Retreats twice... once because we locked ourselves out and once for a maintenance issue. They responded very quickly. We'd stay here again.

The overall experience was great, the place is just as it looks in the pictures. Only thing is that it didn't grant access to the inside pool on keystone. Other than that, they have access to hot tubs and a pool on Dakota Lodge.

I was very impressed with the staff at Summit County Mountain Retreats. My reservation was handled very professionally, and all directions, and instructions were laid out in a timely manner. I had stayed in the same unit before, and everything was as I remembered. Clean unit, fresh sheets and towels, and of course, privacy and peace! The reservation staff was always available, and very friendly! I plan on going back again!

Condo was very clean and spacious. It was in a great area with a very quite summer atmosphere. The area was away from all the big resorts and perfectly located to many of the mountains adventures. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in comfort, but in a quite area close to everything.

The property was very well appointed, spotlessly clean, spacious, beautifully furnished and in an ideal location just minutes from the ski shuttle.

Nice Sized Condo for 4

| 4 out of 5 stars
Review by Erin S.

Good size with nice bathrooms and washer/dryer in condo. The shuttle (Orange) picks you up 200 steps from the front door, eliminating the need to park a car at the slopes. Property management company was very helpful and has all questions answered (and provided great directions). Only downside - if your upstairs neighbors are heavy walkers (or have little kids), you will hear them.

The condo was very clean and very nice. Well furnished with everything thing we needed. I was worried about being too far from River Run, but the shuttle ride was only a couple of minutes long and we never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for one. Great place to stay. Definitely will stay here again.

Review by Ed B.

We have been coming to the Keystone/Silverthorne area for 15 years. This unit at Trappers is one of the best. Very clean and just what we were expecting. It would have been nice to have had an outside grill. The property management team was very helpful with our move between units during our stay. Would definitely stay here again.
